Features & Feedback

Hi all, We wish to collect some of your feedback on Flow, that's why we are opening a new dedicated thread for you to share your feelings on this feature. Do you like it? Why? What do you think we are missing? Please be as detailed as you can in your comments, cheers!

I used to use FLOW all the time, but it played the same music over and over, sometimes one song would play twice in 15 minutes. When I recently discovered "Shuffle My Music" I was happy because I could see what was going to be played and it wouldn't repeat anything (at least not for the 50 songs of the playlist). However, "Shuffle My Music" still suffers from issues FLOW had, namely only playing one or two specific songs from favourite artists and playing the same songs every time. If I pressed "Shuffle My Music" multiple times you can be sure that 80% of the songs in any playlist would be in every other playlist. So, my question: how do I fix My Music? How do I get FLOW or "Shuffle My Music" to have variety? How do I get more than one song from an artist (no matter how many albums and songs they may have) to play?

Logitech is closing mysqueezebox servers in 2 weeks…..Deezer plugin uses the mysqueezebox server to login to Deezer to make the service work on squeezebox devices via LMS.this means the Deezer plugin will stop working in under 2 weeks.please Deezer work with the community now developing Logitech media server to allow a plugin not requiring mysqueezebox to work so we can continue to enjoy the service.Deezer is the only streaming service effected by this closure so being quick/first to solve the issue could mean grabbing some subscribers from the other streaming services that will also be cut off from LMS squeezebox users because of this closure. If Deezer isn’t able to come up with a solution or help community with info to help create a plugin it will force me to switch to a service who have a plugin that works without mysqueezebox.

I keep getting the annoying message ‘Your computer seems to be offline. We'll keep trying to connect.’ when I know 100% that my computer is not offline.

When I found a song on shazam I pressed the 3 dots and it would say open in deezer. Now the links no longer there. Any ideas? I'm in UK using Samsung s20

Hi all, I've been a paying Premium user for around eight years now and am pretty happy with it but I'm open to discovering new things. What are the good reasons, in your opinion, to shift to Deezer?

This is making me crazy and it is an absolute deal breaker.  Without a solution to stop playing unwanted music after my selected track the service is just annoying.  Why should I listen to something I don’t want (even if I paid)?  Why someone/something has to choose my music instead of me? I wrote to the support but I was dismissed with something like:  “sit and wait, maybe in the future someone will decide to implement such feature”.  That’s very, very far from acceptable

I used to be able to sort my Playlist by artist, or alphabetically but all these options have disappeared.  Please help?

My computer becomes noticeably slower when Deezer is running. It’s most noticeable when there’s already a fair amount of other apps running. This is on a MacBook Air M1 computer.Whilst the CPU usage isn’t anything extreme, it does often sit at around 12% for “Deezer Helper (Renderer)” is simply playing music in the background. What is concerning is that when actively engaging with the app, CPU for that process readily jumps up to 40% +.That seems high to me … for activities that I would think are fairly lite weight. I get less CPU usage from massive applications like Adobe apps, etc. Here’s some examples: After clicking on Explore After clicking on Albums After clicking on “Music” After clicking on an Artists name, and brining up that artist’s page  Is this something Deezer developers are aware of?Is Deezer optimised for M1 / silicon chips? Thanks,Jonathan

When searching for a song on Sonos or Google Auto, Deezer always defaults to a live version if it exists.  How can I disable or discourage this behaviour?

I have used the "Shuffle my music" feature for many years and have never had any kind of issue.https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115004269049-Favorites#how_to_shuffle_your_musicIn the past, it always added songs from all my favorite tracks, albums, and playlists to my listening queue. It was great, one of my favorite features. Now, instead, it is broken. Paradoxically, it was better when I had fewer favorites, as if surpassing a certain threshold made Deezer's algorithms unable to manage them anymore. Now it seems to consider only the recently added favorites from the last month, which it cyclically replays in a repetitive and annoying manner, while ignoring all my history from previous months and years, which it never selects. This is not normal. It has never been like this until a few weeks ago.It does not seem like an issue with my devices at all, because it occurs with both the Android App on my phone and the Web Browser on my notebook.I also noticed "Shuffle my music" i

So normally when I’m out and about I use the Deezer app (on Android), and just this morning I discovered a change to the Downloads section.Up until yesterday my Downloads section was sorted A-Z by Artist, then Album. As of today that has been changed, and the list is no longer sorted at all. I reached out to Deezer support on this issue and this is what they responded to me with.“ Deezer is always looking for ways to make your music experience better, faster and more seamless. To achieve this, with the launch of the most recent version for Android 8.0.27, we have made a technical change by removing the A-Z sorting feature. This decision was made to prioritize speed and improve how quickly your Playlists and Favourite tracks load. We understand this may feel like a change to how you organize your music, but our focus is on delivering a faster, more intuitive experience so you can spend more time enjoying your favourite tunes.”Pardon my language, but this is a crock of sh*t. I have several

Hi this is Dylan I'm for some reason having problems with my deezer app logging me out I don't know why this happening but please fix it as soon as possible thank you

Using Deezer Hifi because of my Highend equipment I was very amazed when I was streaming some albums from the 2L label,  mostly classical and choir. Normally it's the usual 44.1khz but suddenly... 352.8 khz!  And also MQA !! . Switching back and wordward to other albums( checking  the system wasn't cunfused) every 2L album gave the same highend results.Dear Deezer,  what's going on???  ThankJakob

Deezer is still not available on Google Home in Belgium. It’s a shame need I to switch over to Spotify?

I pay for Hi-Fi and am using Windows 10. I can’t listen to a long piece of music without silence injected right in the middle of a song. That is a deal breaker for me, especially since I see that a year ago this question was addressed and dismissed as something being introduced slowly, first for iPhone users. A year later, and there is still no gapless play at your most expensive service. Windows users are 75% of the market. I can’t understand what you don’t understand about the business potential of your service. This service could be my go-to library for all listening in my house. It’s a thousands-album library that, if you could design it properly, be listened to in any way my imagination could devise.I could list a dozen problems with Deezer for Windows browser and desktop, but you’d have to pay me to be that useful to you. I’m out. I’ll check out Tidal, I guess. I think that’s the only other Hi-Fi service.Maybe, if this could get back to an administrator, they could put me on an e

Will the album limit of 2000 be raised in the future? last week I reached the limit and I personally use the albums overview as a kind of database for me. Would be great if the limit will be resolved... thanks & regards henryk

random isn't patterns !!! pls fix !!!!!!

Why did I just get a bunch of notifications from artists I did not like? I though the whole point of liking an artist is that you can stay up to date on their stuff, why am I seeing artists I don’t really listen to (or have never listened to) give notifications for songs I wouldn’t want to listen to?

Crossfade is such a basic function. I would like to know when Deezer plans to roll it out for the Desktop app and why they haven't done so in all these years.

Hello - with the roll-out of Deezer for Google Home in the UK, I was hoping that this would also be available to Irish customers. Do you have any plans to make Deezer available through Google Home customers in Ireland? Thanks.

There is no lock screen notification on my Xiaomi phone. The screen remains blank. Please help.

I’m using the Deezer web version on Chrome/Mac.I search for the Artist I want to listen to I click on Tracks I click on a track to playExpected: play the track that I selected, then play the next track from the list of songs from the same artists.Actual: play the track that I selected, then play some random algorithmic selected song that I don’t want.Solution: Either play the one song I selected and stop or play the next song in the list of songs from that artist. For example:I search for Fleetwood Mac and click ‘Tracks’. I select a track I want to listen to ‘Little lies’, note how the next track in the list of songs is ‘Big love’.The track plays and the queue shows the 1 song ‘Little lies’. When the song is finished a completely random song (addicted to love - robert palmer) starts playing and appears in the queue.I never selected ‘addicted to love’ and it only shows after the selected song is finished. Where is the ‘don’t automix’ button?I expect:Deezer stops playing after the first
