Android

The last update broke the Deezer widget in Android. The widget loses focus if the phone screen turns off. Once that happens the pause button no longer works. If a song changes with the screen off, the widget isn't updated. The pause function also fails if the app is opened from the widget. Voice commands are the only way to pause/play once the disconnect happens. Prior to the recent app update even widgets created via apps like KWGT worked. They too are no longer functional.

My mp3-s lately cannot be played due to this MS2002 error code. What is it? Can you solve this problem?

The add to queue function keeps behaving like the play next function.I'm listening to an album, I want to queue the next album to start when the one I'm listening to finishes but it just puts the next album right after my current song.I can click add to queue or play next and they both behave in the same exact way.

Infinite salutations! Recently I’ve switched to Deezer and absolutely fell in love with it. Everything in here feels perfect to me but all this time I’ve had a little problem.I use Deezer on my budget-friendly Android phone (HONOR x7c) and have this issue with album covers disappearing over time. Most of the time I listen to downloaded songs in Deezer but still stay connected to the internet but when I go offline (open app straight without connection) and go to play my favorite songs (downloaded ones), my album covers disappears and being replaced with the placeholder image.I tried to find the solution. Some said that’s because of small smart-cache storage but I set my cache size limit up to 22 GB and there only 900 MB in use. I also tried to erase all app data and download all song again but that didn’t help. I also noticed that album pictures disappear only if I didn’t use Deezer with the internet connection for last hour of so. If I’ll listen to some music with the internet, close a

About 20% of the time, when I cause a song to be stopped, be it by pausing, skipping or choosing a different song, a very loud noise is played straight in my ears. I believe this is the next second of the audio, with the volume at max. This happens when I have my headphones connected by cable (with adapter aux - USB C) or when playing through my phone speakers. This does not happen with Bluetooth devices. After more testing, this seems to happen only when I use the built-in equalizer (is this included with deezer or android?) Device specs:Oppo reno 11A Running ColorOS 16 security update Aug 2026Deezer version 9.0.25.2  I would like to continue using the equalizer, so I'm wondering if there is anything I can do now? Thank you in advance.

I have Hifi quality set for all connectivity options.Whenever I start listening through Android Auto on the phone I see no Hifi badge on the track cover on the playback screen. If I then skip the track with steering wheel buttons I still don't see the Hifi badge but if I skip with a phone (continuing android auto playback) Hifi badge appears. Is this just a UI glitch with missing badge, or are not having Hifi in AA?

Hello Deezer Team,I would like to report an ongoing issue regarding the album art quality displayed in the system media controller (notification shade, lock screen, and home screen widgets) on Android devices. Issue Description:While album artwork inside the main Deezer app looks perfectly sharp, the image provided to the system media player (MediaSession API) is delivered in a very low resolution. When Samsung's One UI scales this thumbnail to fit the lock screen or widget layout, the art becomes heavily pixelated and blurry.  Steps to reproduce:Play any track in the Deezer Android app.Open the Android notification panel, check the lock screen, or add the standard media widget to the home screen.Observe the low-resolution / pixelated album cover art compared to other streaming apps. Device & App Details:Device: Samsung Galaxy S24 feOS Version: Android 16 (and 17 also) / One UI 8 (and 9 also)Deezer App Version: Latest available build Troubleshooting already performed:I h

When changing pages in the app I get a black flash everytime, it makes the app feel pretty bad. If this problem is fixed the experience would have a better premium feeling. It does the same in all my android devices, this does not happen in iOS .

Song catcher is not working. I have Samsung s24 fe, all the latest apps and os versions. But it hasn’t work at all months ago. Deezer always said, didn’t hear the song.

Version 0.2 is now available ! First thing first ! I would like to thank everyone who provided their feedback via the community and via the app report section . Hi. When im in my car and ask google to play a song, it says "sure playing....... on deezer" but then it doesn't open the song. If deezer is already open on AA then it just keeps playing the song its on rather than switching to the song I've requested.Any suggestions? I've done the standard things (clear data and cache in deezer and AA app, reinstalled both, changed battery settings etc) Thanks

I can’t connect it with Galaxy Watch 7. The screen tells me to put the watch near the phone. I do it. Then it tells me to try again. What can I do?

So one of the best features that I like about Deezer is when I'm driving and I can just hit my microphone with Google an Android auto and just ask you little play a song and it usually picks it up well Google has recently updated to Gemini which is now updated to Android auto when asking Google to play a song it tells me the song is not available please open app when safe it doesn't pretty much on every song now if I switch back to the normal Google Assistant it works I wish I could get this fixed or I can use the newer stuff and not have to constantly switch back and forth it's a little aggravating but I've been with Deezer for a really long time ever since it was formerly known as Muse music with Cricket if someone can give me some guidance or some help or something to look into please let me know thank you

the duo joining process is unclear.  which password should the invitee put in their box ?  a new one of their own choice or the main admin password.?  how does one stop the response from deezer taking you to the plans choice page - the plan is already duo!someone cocked up on the instructions for inviting / responding. please give clarity!!!

I'd like to select my computer as the audio output device, but I can't. I don't see it in the selection options, and there's no help available on the Deezer app or even on the website. I have a family account, so I created my own login credentials, but nothing has changed.Does anyone have a solution?

"Add to queue" does the same thing as "play next" instead of adding tracks at the end of the queue. Is that fixable?

I wanted to add a song I was listening to to a playlist, but some of the plus buttons next to the playlists aren't loading. Clicking the playlist itself doesn't add the song.I've tried completely closing out the app, force stopping the app, and checking for updates to the app. Has anyone run into this before? I tried looking for existing community posts, but nothing camw up. Is there any kind of workaround or do I just have to wait and hope Deezer notices the bug and fixes it?(I'm on android)

Deezer was, by far, the largest drain of my battery today. It took HALF MY BATTERY listening to two hours of media. What is going on, guys?My battery health is at 94% on a pixel 9a, I can make this phone easily last two full days. Apparently, except when I use Deezer.Worse, all of this was music I'd already listened to recently, so it was cached. Most of these are in my downloads.Wtf guys, this is insane? All the latest updates. Don't you dare tell me to clear cache and disable background activity, this is obviously a more serious issue. I've been writing software professionally for more than a decade, something is off here.

Hi, I’m thinking of switching to Deezer but I’m wondering if it can do this:I know it has integration with sonos, in the sense that in the sonos app I can add deezer as a streaming service. But I would much prefer to use the deezer app:So in the Deezer android app, can I select music to then be played on a sonos speaker without opening the sonos app itself? (like how in ytmusic you can chromecast music to chromecast audio devices)

Hello, I am new to Deezer and I drive a polestar 2 with android automotive abd have noted that the app is extremely buggy.  The tracks often fail to advance, long loading times or freezes, wrong album art and songs names being displayed , certain buttons like next track just straight up not working.  I hope they have some resources dedicated ot fixing this up.

Deezer worked fine yesterday. This morning nothing will play, not even downloaded tracks. Every time i press shuffle play ( play has also disappeard) i get an advert to upgrade to a family subscription. Please help me fix this.

My Android app does not have the quick access section at the top of the homepage. I have pinned some items and the app is up to date. I have signed out and back in again. I have searched for the answer, but can't find it, including here in Deezer Community. There is a question about it in IOS, but, as far as I can see, was never resolved. Has anyone had this issue and managed to resolve it?

Deezer playback stops randomly within songs or audio books when either connected via Bluetooth to a car or headphones. It does not happen on the direct playback via phone speakers (never).Sometimes it automatically returns after a while also when not unlocking the phone. It seems to continue playing after you unlock the phone and return to the app. Also the controls on the lock screen and on the car or headphone seem not to help (pausing or jump to the next song)It seems to be buggy for a few weeks now and I assume it came with an deezer update. I am using a Samsung s20+. Hope you can help me getting back deezer to the quality level I was used to. Thanks. Felix

Last week I noticed that the option “Do not recommend this song” is gone from the Android version. It is still there when using the webpage, but not anymore in the Android app. Will this option return?Screenshots are in Dutch: “Dit nummer niet aanbevelen”.
