Using Deezer Hifi because of my Highend equipment I was very amazed when I was streaming some albums from the 2L label, mostly classical and choir. Normally it's the usual 44.1khz but suddenly... 352.8 khz! And also MQA !! . Switching back and wordward to other albums( checking the system wasn't cunfused) every 2L album gave the same highend results.
Dear Deezer, what's going on???
Thank
Jakob

Very interesting, do you have the direct link? You can also do a label search in Deezer with this search term:
label:”2L”
And then click on the found albums, there should be 300 max. or 260 in this case.
I cannot check High Definition resolutions, as I only use a standard PC soundchip, but others with a DAC might confirm this.
Hi
Look for the Album " Spes" by Tove Ramlo-Ystad. When you found this one, you will see more albums in this genre.
Or go to the website of 2L and look for albums after the year 2017 . You will find this albums on Deezer and they're all on Deezer.
I can change the playback properties in the Windows 10 audio settings to 24-bit / 192khz for this HD soundchip and driver, but there is no way to check the real resolution of the currently playing track in Windows 10, as far as I know. Anyhow, thanks for posting this.
Which DAC do you own?
On the pic you can see the sample Freq
Hi @JakobG can you please confirm the Brand and model of your High end sound system? Thanks :)
Hi again @JakobG I have investigated and I think that what is happening here is the following: It seems that your are using bluetooth on your sound system, with a Sony codec (LDAC).The number 352.8K is the bitrate of your current Bluetooth connexion (aka 352kbps). Deezer provides a FLAC stream (16bits, 44.1KHz, which I think corresponds to a bitrate ~1411kbps), and your sound system converts it to LDAC at ~352kbps to stream it over bluetooth. I hope this helps
Hi Jaime
When i use bluetooth ( just occasionally) I can stream max 96 khz.
What you see on the the picture is that the Bluetooth is on, but not in use.
Most of the time my DAP Fiio M11pro is connected through usb to a masterclock Mutec MC 3+USB. Connection through USB will give me a lot of opportunities.
I can stream DSD 64, 128, 256 . DOP, but also DXD 352.8 khz
The "K" placed after 352.8 in the picture means sample freq Khz.
The Mutec " sees " a signal of 352.8 and reclock this and puts out a sample freq of my choice.
2L is famous by making audiophile recordings made in DXD format.
So it's fun to see that Deezer just put this format on the list.
I just cancelled my Spotify subs and one of these days I will go on with deezer. Overall it's sounds way better.

Thanks for all the specs and details @JakobG. I have passed your feedback to our music team
Found another one!
Here’s another one and I can confirm, that the above album is indeed MQA.
Playback system:
BlueSound Node 2i coax output to
Lyngdorf TDAI 2200 RoomPerfect Amp
Lyngdorf SDA 2400 Amp
Lyngdorf DP1 + BW1 Speakers
Hi Mark.
Very Nice system! Beautiful Lyngdorf stuff.
And indeed MQA! but also 352.8kHz!
Many albums of the label 2L are in that same format.
I still have no answer from Deezer how this is possible, but nice it is!
Thanks
Jakob
This is the Label I'm talking about

Hi Jakob,
Thank you very much. Your system is also very nice!
If memory serves me right, Deezer some time ago joined the MQA partnership. I think the MQA is packed inside a FLAC file, which can be unpacked by MQA enabled DAC’s. That,in theory, explains why it’s possible to stream MQA from Deezer, although it’s not official supported (yet?).
I’m shure there’s a way better explanation if one do a search...
And another - not surprising since mqa is in the title.
It would be nice if the search supported something like file:”mqa” like the possibilty to search for labels label:”2L"
It must be a Flac indeed since it loads reasonable quickly.
I'm gonna search for that fairytale now.
Have a nice weekend!
Hey @JakobG@Mark Percy
This is quite unusual but our colleague @Jaime. is digging deep with the devs to understand we'll be in touch!
Thanks Rudi.
I'm pleased with this nice surprise, it's real high-end and far better than what Tidal and Qobuz are offering!!
Greets Jakob
Another nice one in 352.8 khz MQA
Its quiet at Deezer's
Time for Christmas Carols ?
Still no idea about the Hi-res items on Deezer?
Greetz Jakob
Sorry @JakobG
We're also waiting to hear more from our devs but as you can imagine, it's a super busy end of the year.
