Android

I get logged out of the app multiple times per day.

There is an issue with the scrollbar in playlists/albums pages. When the scrollbar becomes visible, the toucharea from the scrollbar overlaps with the toucharea of the song items, making it very difficult to select or “grab” and drag it from the top to the bottom. You could compare it to the “Favorite Artists” page, where the right scrollbar is very easy to select and smooth to slide, in comparison to the scrollbar on the playlists pages.Specifications: my cellphone is a Samsung Galaxy A15, and the Deezer App is on the last version (beta): 8.0.34.2

I have been using Deezer for a very long time over the course of several different accounts. It has gotten progressively worse for at least 3 years now. I want to know if it’s going to get any better, because I’m on the brink of switching to Spotify. Below are my issues with Deezer for Android. For context, I’m using a Samsung S20+ with no damage or anything with plenty of spare storage and my system software and app version are all up-to-date.Painfully slow search feature. I have Wi-Fi with 30mb upload and 30mb download consistently. The app continually struggles to search ANYTHING. Sometimes it works fine, but usually it buffers for several minutes before returning a result which is sometimes not even what I search for. It never used to do this, it started maybe a year ago or so. I have tried mobile data and that doesn’t help. Low download integrity. I had about 30GB of downloads which I’d say is on the small side for audiophiles like myself. They worked without issue for years until

I tried looking at my downloaded music and there is nothing there but if I go to my favorites and that I can see them.

Since a while I am unable to listen live to NPO Radio 2 (Netherlands) anymore. Does anyone have an idea what is going wrong? I have already installed the app again and logged in again as well a few times. It's giving the notification: try-out again.

There's an old thread that touched upon this but seems to have been forgotten. The issue is 2-3 years old.Steps to reproduce:1. Make a queue/playlist2. Start playing3. Cast to a Chromecast-enabled device4. Wait for playback to finish5. After the music stops, the homescreen widget is nowhere to be found Tested with a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and a Google Nest Audio speaker

Hi everyone,I'm on a trial month of Deezer, and I'm experiencing some issues. Regardless of whether the volume normalization option is turned on or off, every time playback moves from one song to the next (in a playlist or an album), the volume drops significantly. If I pause and play, the volume returns to the correct level.Furthermore, sometimes when I pause and play, the app skips to the next song in the album. Am I the only one experiencing this? Any fixes?I've tried enabling/disabling the volume normalization option, but as I said, it doesn’t fix the problem regardless of whether it's on or off. I've also tried clearing the cache and uninstalling/reinstalling the app, but nothing changes.

The title is pretty straight to the point. When I'm online, I'm able to que songs (downloaded or not) to what I'm currently listening to, but when I'm offline (even in offline mode) I'm unable to que songs. It gives me "connection error", but the songs are downloaded and I can't understand why this would be an issue. If I select a downloaded song while offline, it works just fine. I'm just unable to que songs while offline. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it very much!

Japanese language search is broken in Android in at least two ways: You cannot type in Kanji (the Chinese characters), you can only type in hiragana (a phonetic alphabet). Normally using Gboard (the default android keyboard) you type something in phonetically in hiragana and Gboard presents options to change this word to Kanji but this is not happening with Deezer. Also, sometimes you need to add “voicing marks” to hiragana which would for example change a “ha” sound to a “pa” sound. This is also broken. Basically it looks like Deezer is processing each character as soon as it's entered, taking control away from Gboard before the user can finish entering the word. Search will not find a Japanese artist if you search for their name in Japanese. Even if you type an artist's name in a separate app to write out the kanji to get around issue #1 and copy and paste into Deezer it will not find the artist, even though the artist's name is written in the same Kanji when the app is set to Japane

Hello, Since a week ago there is a bug where if you add a song to your queue by clicking on "play next" it doesnt show the album art of the song anymore. This happens with literally every song. I'm on the latest beta version right now, but the latest stable version has the same issue.

Hello everyone !I've been having a weird problem for the last few month.I have an old car without any bluebooth for the radio so i have to connect my phone with a usb-c cable to make the music come out of the car speakers. It was working perfectly fine until a few month ago, when i start my car and connect my phone to the usb-c cable, a gemini tab pops up on front of everything (i still haven't found how to stop it from happening) and i have to manually exit it.When i open deezer and select a song (or start my favorites in random shuffle) it starts freaking out and autoskips everything at full speed and never stops.I tried forcing the app to stop and even rebooting my phone but as soon as i reopen deezer and start a song/playlist it does the same thing again on loop.I even tried to disconnect my 4g connexion and put deezer on the "no connection" mode but it doesn't do anything and the music keeps on scrolling automatically. It only happens when my phone connect on the usb-c cable in my c

Doesn't connect to google home speakers.

I think the title makes it pretty clear. It's so annoying when you're in the middle of a playlist, and then it scrolls all the way back to the top.

I only ever listen to downloaded music, and as such spend most of my time on the “downloaded files” page, and barely anywhere else. Lately, the Android App has been updated so that it is no longer possible to sort albums and artists in the Downloaded folder. This is a major step backwards for user-friendliness. Please restore this functionality.

Hi ! Like many other people in this forum, I’m still experiencing podcast playback skipping randomly. It starts to play and skip to another episode after a random time. Sometimes I can (rarely) play an entire episode. Sometimes it skips. I tried on Android app, on the phone only, and streamed through chromecast.  Same issue. I tried on the mac desktop app, playback does not skips but stops, and an error message appears.I’ve search through this forum, I tried to clear all caches, and reinstall the app many times, still have this terribly annoying issue.Every time it's the same answer : cache / reboot / reinstall. And it does'nt work. And it makes me really crazy. I'm forced to use Youtube music with ads to listen to my podcasts. Instead of an app I’ve paid for.Reading the forums, It's been two years and no clear answer, no fix. Please. Fix it.

after several updates i see not fixed bugall my mp3 files uploaded via browser have cover images, and they shown in browser correctly both in “my mp3” category and in favorites. on android device (Huawei p60pro) covers show only in “my mp3” but all songs added to favorites are w\out covers...how i can fix it? today i updated an app to last 8.0.30.5 but this issue is still exist

Does anyone know why tracks that work perfectly fine on the desktop and web versions of Deezer, seem to be unavailable (greyed out) on the mobile app? What I’ve also noticed is that, when I replace (truly) unavailable tracks, the change doesn't seem to reflect in the Android app.Looking forward to your replies.

Deezer is very slow usually not working at all

Hi all, how are you? I am experiencing the issues as described below:Issue 1:Playing download content in off line mode doesn't work - it asks for connection to play downloaded content in off line mode.Issue 2:Playing content over mobile connection keeps loading forever with strong stable 5g network signal available. App preferences is set to allow unrestricted background data, and audio settings os set to stream in basic quality over mobile network. I have followed the instructions described by deezer support below:A)Set App Battery Usage to  Unrestricted;B)Set App mobile network data usage to Unrestricted;C)Set app Audio quality download over mobile network to basic. I also have reinstalled the app several times, and redownloaded all content, but it didn´t solved the issues. Please, May someone help me to figure out how to fix it? Device info:Google pixel 7Android 15 security pack December 2024Deezer app details:Deezer 8.0.28.4Permissions if app is unused is disabledApp Battery Usage

Boa noite,Estou tendo problemas com algunas músicas no meu App deezer

I received the My Deezer Year ann I open it, but a black screen just shows up, how do I solve this?

Hi, Since a month i've got troubles with Deezer and MusicCast via the Yamaha RX-A4A over and over again. The problem is that after a song or 2 or 3 Deezer stops playing music, also searching in my favorites does not work. Besides that a lot of times "no music" or that i'm not logged in anymore. This is becoming very annoying. I've read several forum topics but none of them gives me an solution. The weird part is sometimes it works again for serval hours, but it is not a specific time or day you can pin point. What i've tried:- Removing the MusicCast app from my Android (version 14) phone and reinstall the app (tested multiple phones) (version 5.70)- Resetting the Deezer password- Factory reset Yamaha RX-A4A- Restarting network modem and router- Setup a static IP address in the router for the Yamaha- Turning off battery management in the MusicCast app - Updating the Yamaha receiver with the latest firmware (2.03/3.14) None of them did the trick. Hope someone from support has an solution

Deezer drops and crashes after 5 minutes and makes me log in again.

Hello, I have been experiencing this error on my Android 7.0 phone when trying to add new songs to the playlist (https://www.deezer.com/playlist/6209841564?utm_source=deezer&utm_content=playlist-6209841564&utm_term=2938404124_1565810170&utm_medium=web). I have already reinstalled the app and cleared the cache and local files but the error persists. I have also checked I have the latest version of the app. The playlist is way below the top limit of songs. However, when using the desktop version I can add them without errors. Any help on the issue will be appreciated. Best, Mauricio. The literal error is: "Unable to add the selected tracks to the"All_my_songs" playlist". It doesn't matter if I change the playlist.

Hello, I've had a bug for a few weeks and I don't know what to do. I have a playlist of ~978 tracks and when I scroll down, play a music, lock my phone during ~20 seconds and then unlock my phone, it automatically scrolls up to the top of my playlist. I don't know how to prevent this, I've tried several things as clearing the cache, deleting all the data stored on my phone, uninstalling the app...Nothing seems to work out.  It's really impacting my user experience and I saw that some people already posted about it a year ago and this bug has never been fixed in my opinion (or maybe it got fixed but it came back later somehow).  I have a Google Pixel 6 and Android 15. I recorded a video but how can I share it here?
