Deezer freaks out when my phone is connected on usb-c

Hello everyone !

I've been having a weird problem for the last few month.

I have an old car without any bluebooth for the radio so i have to connect my phone with a usb-c cable to make the music come out of the car speakers.

It was working perfectly fine until a few month ago, when i start my car and connect my phone to the usb-c cable, a gemini tab pops up on front of everything (i still haven't found how to stop it from happening) and i have to manually exit it.

When i open deezer and select a song (or start my favorites in random shuffle) it starts freaking out and autoskips everything at full speed and never stops.

I tried forcing the app to stop and even rebooting my phone but as soon as i reopen deezer and start a song/playlist it does the same thing again on loop.

I even tried to disconnect my 4g connexion and put deezer on the "no connection" mode but it doesn't do anything and the music keeps on scrolling automatically.

It only happens when my phone connect on the usb-c cable in my car, i can still play deezer normally when the phone isn't connected or when i use my earbuds, i don't know if it's linked to the gemini pop up or not.

I have a motorola razr 50 ultra but it also happened with my previous phone (samsung flip 3) under the same circonstances.

I drive 2 hours daily and it's very frustrating to not be able to listen to my favorite songs :(

Has anyone ever seen this problem before ?

I know that the Razr and Razr+ are the first phones to run Google Gemini by default, and although you’ve said you were getting this with your Samsung phone as well, this almost certainly sounds like an issue with Google.

I would suggest taking a look at your Assistant settings to determine if you have set a default Assistant. Google is pushing Gemini as the default and these prompts are likely an effort to get you to switch to Gemini or, at the very least, to declare a winner.

isn’t there an option for you to turn off Gemini and use Google Assistent instead?
