Android auto - Deezer problem. No last song at the begining.

the problem started about 3 weeks ago and still hasnt been fixed.

in the past when I got into my car and my phone connected the touch screen of my car, android auto started automatically via wi-fi, left half of the screen showed “google map” right half used to show the last song I listened.

now right half shows a black screen. passive “play and forward buttons” and writes 

Deezer,

Touch to open.

blue box must show the poster of the album. instead of “deezer, touch to open” I must see the name of the last song. buttons must be active in yellow box.

 

when I touch, it goes to main page of deezer which looks like as if it is on my mobile phone. maybe the new gui makes that problem.

check the main page of youtube music at Android auto on screen. in the past yt music and deezer main pages were similar.

when I have the blank-black screen, I open deezer from my mobile phone and last song info comes to the screen immdiately. so I can understand that either deezer doesnt give that info to AA or AA isnt able to run deezer at the start up.

by the way I have tried lots of things.

delete and reinstall deezer. log in again. restart my mobile phone. delete my phone on touch screen and reconnect. turn the car screen to factory default etc.. it rarely work properly. but no problem at youtube music

my car is: 2023 ford focus active with 12.3 screen software sync4

    For now it's in Beta version.

    The fix is in v8.0.30.4

    I have almost the same issue. In the past when connecting my Android phone with my car, it normally started to play where I ended the last time.

    Favourites, an artist or an album, it used to start where I last listed to.

    Now it doesn’t and I have to start Deezer myself by using the screen in my car.

    I drive a Ford Fiesta 2022 with Synch3.

      it is most like because of AA. yesterday same happened for youtube music. black screen and touch to open. AA isnt able to start music apps properly and get the song info. but software developers should work on it. what changes happened at the last Aa update and how to solve, even they have to ask AA technical team.

       

      at the moment there is only one solution, you should start deezer on phone before getting into the car.

      When did the issue start for you? mine was about december 15 th

      I try to understand which ones new update has caused all that, AA or deezer

      I’m having the same issue. Used to be able to click last played on android auto, but Deezer is no longer remembering what was last paying on the car screen.

      I’m Android Auto 13.3.644654 (latest version available on play store in Canada), deezer - 8.0.28.4

      yours is newer.. but still you have the issue.. no change then.

      just checked the updates. no new one at the moment for us. 

      phone: one plus nord n10 5g..android 11

      There is no update for me yet (The Netherlands, Europe).

      Are there Deezer users that have other music streaming services besides Deezer and are they having the same issues? I only have Deezer, so I can’t check.

      I didn’t say anywhere that I still have the issue. That’s why i asked what version everyone was on, as I am on 13.4, which I believe is the redesigned media player, and I’m not having any problems.
