Group/sort playlists/albums/artists/genres into folders

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. I've moved it here so that you can expand this existing idea into an even more useful feature 

playlist folder is important. apple music and spotify users can organize easily there music.

I, for example love to listen to diffrent kinf of genres (jazz, classical, chillout, synth-pop, rock/metal, blues, oriental/worldmusic)

I have also spotify account and everything is well orginized. i’m using deezer because you have hifi.

please try to push this issue forward. this subject is 2 years old and nothing utill now.

Yeah i have more than 200 playlists and it would be great if i could organize them in some way.

I would like to be able to create my own categories/groups (like folders/tabs) under my Favourite Artists to easier find and choose between different types of music. Like "work", "gym", "party", "pagan" and so on, to easier find the right  artis for this moment. The same Artist can be shown in several categories.

Yes, this feature badly needed. My favorited albums have become quite difficult to navigate and tags would be the best, simplest solution.

Could someone from Deezer maybe give an update regarding the status? 8 months ago it was said that the team is looking into it...

Hello @MaksB, we did not have time to focus on this for now so far, we’ve been working on a lot of other projects and evolutions of the app  We’ll get back to you on this topic once we have more news about it.

Please add folders, tags, colors, ratings for personal convenient music sorting

Friends, I just transferred 464 playlists from spotify, without folders, I don't even know what to do with it) please add folders or an advanced filter, we need some kind of music ordering system

I added more than 200 playlists, and grouping them into folders (or assigning them personal tags which gives basically the same result) would be great!

Is it possible to create several folders with Artist (like a playlist but for artists) ?

In my dream, it could be a hierarchical folders structure with Artist list (like a bookmark)…

In my dream too, the same hierarchical folders structure could be useful for playlist.

I have an idea for Shelves in the Deezeer, but folders can be too.

There's a discussion (internally) about this going on at the moment @Maximizer. There will be work done around investigating this possibility - once we have more info, we'll share with you here

Moving from spotify this is the worst part about deezer.

We sure see there's a room for improvement on this. But don't worry, more UI and UX improvements are on the plans for the near future. There are several things Deezer wants to improve, we just need a bit more time than expected due to our size - the motivation and dedication are huge though!

Yes! I have a lot of playlists and it would be a lot easier to find the playlist or type of playlist I’m looking for if I could sort them in folders. I love this idea!

@Ben Woolston i agree with you. I moved from other app because Deezer UI is much easier to navigate and more friendly, but the lack of possibilities to group/organize your playlists/albums is what bothers me.
