Hi @Lucelia.Mascarenhas,

It is possible to link your Deezer account to your Scrobble Last FM account from a computer/laptop using this link:

https://www.deezer.com/account/share

You should see the Scrobble as the option on the right.

Hey @mavarco86

Really appreciate your feedback, you're right.

I'll forward your comments as well, I hope to have an update on the situation in due course :thumbsup_tone2:

Deezer's internal scrobbling option works again including their desktop and iOS apps. The callback URL to Deezer after authenticating it in your Last.fm account was broken using http instead of https. The workaround recently described in a related thread with installing the HTTPS Everywhere browser extension to fix this issue is not necessary anymore.

Other issues with it still remain of course like not submitting ampersands in artist, album and track titles or not showing "Scrobbling now" in your Recent Tracks list on your Last.fm profile. See the Deezer Scrobbling FAQ on the Last.fm support forum:

https://support.last.fm/t/deezer-scrobbling/177

Yes it works !

FYI: If you try to scrobble the track “34+35” from Ariana Grande’s new album with the internal Deezer option, it will not work due to the known issue with plus signs in artist/album/track names. Workaround is using the Web Scrobbler browser extension or external Android scrobblers like Pano Scrobbler etc., see this thread and the official Deezer scrobbling FAQ on the Last.fm support forum. Of course you can add the missing scrobbles manually afterwards with the related manual scrobbling tools as well.

Thanks for sharing @bluezzbastardzz

I'm going to add these comments you made to the bug report around scrobbling here. Good news is that our team is actually going for improvements on this in 2021 :thumbsup_tone2:

Hi all! I am underway a very thorough test of all the major streaming services in their current state for my YT channel and also just searching for a perfect app for myself, which includes a slick UI on both the phone and desktop, integration between different sources (nothing beats Spotify’s Connect, but Deezer with its synchronized playing comes kinda close) and perks like last.fm integration.

I am very impressed with Deezer and already have my all library here on the trial month (especially loved the easy way to import some of my old mp3s to round up my full library), but it seems that this last.fm bug might be the deciding factor as I see it has not been resolved over the years…

Scrobbling works on my Google Pixel (but not the uploaded tracks wtf?), but it does not on the newest desktop version on Windows 10 (apart from web app with Chrome extension, but that won’t cut it). I don’t get it and would not like to resign from switching to Deezer and stick to very messy, laggy and dated UI of Spotify because of it.

That said thank you Rudi for all the replies and hopefully the fix you mentioned is coming soon. I got 4 weeks to go 🙂 All the best to ya all!

For me the internal Deezer scrobbling currently works with desktop version 4.29 on Windows 10.

Thanks! Strangely it also works for me now (I just woke up and checked it again) :) Reading this thread I noticed that it can come and go, strange. Hopefully it stays now.

Thank you for sharing @Tomek Darda please, please, do keep us posted!

Hi - Scrobbling was working fine for me up until this morning. Suddenly stopped.

I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting, but no joy.

It seems to work from IoS but not via Sonos…

Thanks for reporting it @OneFineDay

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps with Sonos? Like restarting the device or the network router?

Hi Rudy.

Thanks for the follow up - I did all that and nothing worked. Then this morning, it just seemed to start again. Hopefully a temporary blip :)

Cheers

Mike

Interesting to know, Mike @OneFineDay

Please do keep me posted, important feedback like this makes things move at Deezer too :relaxed:

I’m also not getting Last.fm scrobbles when using the LGTV web app. Works fine for mobile and web.

Thanks for adding to the discussion here @Tim Johnson your feedback is very precious to us!

in the web version I can not link the last fm account. there is no such possibility.

Hey there @alchi-alchi

Please see above for more info.

And for everyone, our teams are investigating the improvements that can be made to the integration as we speak :relaxed:

@alchi-alchi If you cannot see the Last.fm (and Twitter) connection option on that page in your browser, you are probably a member of a Deezer Family, but not the owner of the account. Or you are using ad and/or privacy blocker extensions in your browser which might prevent connecting to other sites like Last.fm.

Today I faced the problem of scrobbling one track (Frank Ocean - Pink + White). For some reason, this particular track does not produce scrobbling, and other tracks are scrobbling.

@DanRow That is a known issue of the internal Deezer scrobbling, it does not submit scrobbles with a plus sign. You could only prevent this by using external scrobbling apps depending on your device. You can also use manual scrobbling tools to add these missing songs afterwards in your Last.fm library.

Hi there,

I am new to Deezer. I’ve connected through the web browser to Last.fm.

Then I open the desktop app, listen to a song, but this doesn’t appear to the scribbled ones.

How can I solve?

It is currently working for me, so there is no general problem with it at the moment. The internal Deezer scrobbling does not show “Scrobbling now” in your Last.fm recent tracks list, so you will only see a successful scrobble a few seconds after the next track has already been started. Another known issue is for tracks containing a plus sign anywhere (artist, album or track name), so if you try to scrobble e.g. a song by Florence + the Machine, it will not work.

That’s so strange.
I have connected through the browser.

I see the connection under applications in Last.fm correctly

i am using the desktop app on my Mac Mini and it seems it doesn’t scroll songs properly

But are you seeing a red Last.fm logo in the Sharing Preferences of the Deezer web player, or is it still greyed out maybe? Or are you a Deezer Family member who usually cannot see this option? See the official Deezer Scrobbling FAQ on the Last.fm support forum for screenshots and more infos:

https://support.last.fm/t/deezer-scrobbling/177

Sometimes adblockers or privacy protection browser extensions can also prevent a proper connection of the Deezer and Last.fm account.

Now it seems to work properly.

I saw I need the end of the song in order to be scrobbled properly.

Thanks
