Samsung TV keeps loading and nothing happens (cannot play My Music)

Same story month in and month out... Guys get Spotify!

I moved and it works perfectly. You too wont have to sit on tender hooks waiting month in and month out, whilst paying for a service that does not work.

Since a few months I get the "Deezer server is not responding " error on my Samsung Q80 tv. The app only works for 1 session after reinstalling the app. After I switch off my tv the error reappears. Its a big hassle to reinstall the app every single day. Looking at the topics Deezer has 0 control over this situation making assumptions they cant back up. A topic which drags on for years now says it all. A total disgrace.

We'll be launching an update app for LG, Samsung and Hisense very soon. I invite you to test it when that happens. If by that time you don't have an active Deezer subscription, let me know (if you're interested in that, of course) :thumbsup_tone2:

There won't be an early release for testers. However, we're very close to more news around this app so please hang in there a bit longer :relaxed:

I would like to thank the teams in charge of the new Smart TV application (Samsung and others), who are doing a very good job.  A big thumbs up.  There are still small problems to be corrected.  Improvements for the future 👍.  Otherwise I like the app very much.  Big big thanks to you @Rudi  for your patience and for your excellent work.

So is it ready yet? My Samsung smart tv UE55KS9000 has been reporting that the App has not been able to connect to the Deezer server for some weeks now. 

This is a repeat of the same issue first reported two years ago which was fixed but has since re-emerged

Like others I dont like paying for this poor experience

 

I don’t see any change. It just loading…

I going to wait until the end of this month and stop pay for nothing.

Hey, another month has passed and nothing has happened. My model is Samsung UE49KS7502.

I’m not sure the model of TV is the issue here !

I have the same Samsung tv as last year & Deezer played fine on it last year in Spain. 
Previous to that the connection issue was eventually resolved.

However the connection issue occurred again earlier this year on the same tv in my villa in Spain. Nothing else had changed.

The response from Deezer was the same this year as last year. “It’s a technical issue that we are sorting out with Samsung & we are nearly there” 

Todate, many months later. Deezer is still trying to fix this issue & after all this time, inconvenience & no reduction in the monthly fee, the connection  issue still remains. It’s simply not good enough Deezer !

We've been building our new TV app for Samsung for months, from scratch. We're almost ready, so please hang in there a little bit longer :pray_tone2:

I have't used tv app for a while because of known performance sadness. Today turned it on and my flip flops jump out my feets. New layout nad what is most important works super fast - no delays, long loading stages, even items lists load immediately. There must be nice caching. In a single word - wow! Great work, really. Using this app it's a pleasure now.

Btw I like device authorizing with a short code instead of basic login

If I have to stick to anything I can mention 2 wishes:

- missing audio settings

- controlling tv app with a phone app would make it awesome to the max. Standard remote control has never been most handy

I’ve just tried to login to Deezer via my Samsung Tv in Spain & it still says after may months of being off line, that “Deezer Server is not Responding”. 
The app may work via the TV in the UK, will try when I get back next week, but it’s still not working in Spain, just like it didn’t work last year for a few months.

Unfortunately, now as last year, all we receive from Deeezer is the same bland response that “they have nearly solved the problem”. 
well after all these months, ,nearly”, is just not good enough, particularly  when we’re still having to pay the monthly subscription in full, with no tv access to Deezer particularly in Spain !

Still nothing happens, everything is the same. I have TV Samsung ue50tu8502uxxh_ Crystal UHD 4K. Problems with reproduction_freezing, only 25 songs in favorites etc..Latest version 1.0.25, 12/06/2018. On my other devices everything works fine.

Hi @shegy You are right, we are still working on it. Some issues are still there and we are aware of it.
Our developers are working on a better version which hopefully will improve the User experience in 100%

Today a tried a new version of Deezer at my Samsung TV. The same think happens, after a few songs the app. just stop, get freeze.
