Our Desktop/Web app can improve, and we need your help
This is the topic dedicated to all problems you may face when using our desktop and web apps, big or small.
What should I post here?
if the app is acting in an unusual way, when you click on the menus and buttons, for example
if the player is displaying error messages, or if the playback is interrupted, let us know
if you're unable to login, or if the app kicks you out, we need to be aware too
if it simply crashes on you, when you connect or not to a device, it's better to leave a comment
if you have tips or workarounds to share, they'll be very welcome too
This topic is intended for version 4.20.0 and above, and for our browser version of Deezer

Thanks for sharing the link with @ZeraToleranc@JohnyV3
We're looking into that @Martijn.Keymis, thanks for reporting it.
Hey @Ria Allan Poe sorry to hear that, could you please try restarting your router as well? I also sent you a password reset email, so please change your password before trying again!
Happy New Year all!

Happy New Year all!
I’ve changed my password and restarted my router and still have the same issue.
I had an infamous issue when the Windows App (both Desktop and Windows Store version) crashed immediately after login. However, I managed to solve it and decided to share my solution. I hope it will help your developers to prevent it completely.
After checking some suggestions in other threads on this site, I noticed a suggestion to clean up the %appdata%/deezer folder. It helped me to find the actual .exe file and when I run it, I got an error message:
“Fatal process OOM in insufficient memory to create an Isolate”
I have realized that you are using Electron/Node.js. The memory issues on Node.js apps are typically related to the “--max-old-space-size” parameter. In my case, it was set to 8GB which seems too large (is it compiled for 32-bit?).
So I have run the following in the command prompt:
set NODE_OPTIONS=--max-old-space-size=2048
After that, I managed to run the app successfully.
I think your developers should consider doing this to avoid such difficult-to-troubleshoot problems.
Hope this helps!
Thanks a lot for sharing this @asimontsev, amazing!
I've forwarded all your comments to our devs. Happy New Year!
Hey @Ria Allan Poe
Thanks for coming back! Could you please try resetting your password to see if it helps? We're getting to the bottom of it!
I have noticed that windows app (4.29.0) doesn’t show all albums for some artists in Albums section. Missing albums are being shown in More albums section in the bottom.
No easy access or info about album in Deezer’s playlists
When I e.g. pick a “For You” curated playlist, there’s
No column showing the album title for each track in the list
No field displaying album title below the cover graphic
No option allowing me to look up the album on Deezer (“Go to album”/”Album page”-type function)
I’d like all three of these rather glaring omissions to be fixed, please.
Thanks for your attention.
I’m on Windows 10, app version 4.29.0, Deezer Premium.
Playback not gapless between connected tracks
There are audible clicks, pops, and/or pauses between tracks on contiguous albums, which should definitely not still be happening in 2021. Even in the nineties I was able to find an MP3 player that respected gapless playback. Not everything is a pop/rock album with 3 second pauses between every track, please remember that.
Some examples:
Jean-Michel Jarre - albums Oxygene and Equinoxe, pick almost any two consecutive tracks and you will hear an annoying interruption in the music that should not be there.
Your Android player does a better job of this, although still not perfect - clicks are still heard on e.g. Equinoxe between tracks.
If you’re hoping to replace CD’s with streaming, please don’t degrade the experience for the listeners.
Thanks in advance for your attention to this frustrating issue.
Windows 10, app version 4.29.0, Deezer Premium.
Thanks for the feedback @Dawid_m I'll pass it on!
Hey @Music Maven Gapless is currently being developed for our desktop app, hang in there, we'll have it soon!
About the playlists curated by you, my apologies, but I'm not sure I understood you. Could you please post a screenshot of the playlists and lack of info? Thank you!

Hi Rudi, sounds good about gapless!
About the missing album information, I can see that it’s specific to the “Queue” view. If I e.g. start the “Yacht Rock” playlist (created by a Deezer editor), and open the Queue view, all information about the source albums are missing from all tracks, both in the list and beneath the cover graphic, as well as there being no option in the menus to access the related album for any track. And note that this goes for any queue, also when playing an album, or a playlist that I created myself. It’s a limitation of the queue view that I intensely dislike - I see no reason to hide the album info, just because I’m in the queue view.
I’m attaching a screenshot of the queue view of the Yacht Rock playlist as an example.
Hello,
im a new user of Deezer. Ive found this bug related only to one song - Slipknot - The Negative One. I added 3 different files with this song but the issue is always appearing so its not realted directly to one of the tracks, but maybe to songs with time above ~4min? No idea at this point, but The Negative One is the only one song on my list with this issue.
So, when several times i go backwarads by clicking progression bar, the song sometimes “freezes” even if i do pause/unpause it not starts. The only way of solution is to start other song and go back to The Negative One. This bug do not appear everytime, for example before i wrote this post i had to go backward on progress bar few times.
Its very annyoing and it appears only on desktop app. Dont got same problem with this track on my mobile device.
IF you need some more details i can perform screen record while im doing it and send it to you via @.
Kind regards,
KG
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback @Music Maven absolutely brilliant. On a side note, my colleague Shanice has been keeping me updated about the stats issue. Don't worry, it happened to me as well. For now, please bookmark the page (for your idea created)
Hi there @Grabzzky can we please have the link for the content in question? I'll test everything on our side first.
I just installed Deezert on my laptop. When I play a song and wait for it to finish, the next song doesn't play, and when you press the button to go to the next song or any other song in general, the same song is produced from the beginning. I have to close my account and log in again to choose another song, but the same problem keeps happening again. I don't know what to do to solve this problem.
I am having the same issue, reinstalled multiple times, logged out and back in and the problem just won’t go away
Hello!
It's not the first time that I have a problem playing the downloaded content while being offline. I use a Mac desktop app, version 4.32.0. I am a subscribed user.
It gets pretty annoying, tbh. It shows the first track's name but doesn't play the track itself, showing a message "your computer seems to be offline". It also takes ages to see all albums, because they appear slowly.
Is it something that can be fixed? Thank you.
Good taste on music @T Sh
Hey @JRG1
I'll pass your details on, but please both do the following:
Uninstall the app
Search for %appdata and delete any Deezer folder you find
Restart your computer
Reinstall the app, version 4.32
And then let me know how it goes, so that I can pass the info further to our devs
@Grabzzky please try the same as well, the track is playing fine on my 4.32 version of the app as well. I'll be waiting for your reply!
Are you working on an Apple Silicon version of your app for MacOS? It currently sucks on M1 MacbookPro running through the Rosetta emulator.

Error
An error occurred, please try again later.
I always just get this error when using the search bar to find songs today.
Browser: Firefox 85.0 (64-bit)
OS: Windows
Server issue? Account problem?
Edit: OOh, never mind, clicked logout, back, still logged in, search working again o.O
I use MacBook Pro 2019, macOS Big Sur 11.1.
After the last app update I have errors again and again and again...is very annoying...when I skip a track or when I try to Acces an album
Hello,
since today my deezer App is completly twisted….. normally everything was sorted from left to right (like reading a book ^^. Now everything is changed, and i cannot find options to change this. ( I am using win app)
Hey @Silviu
Sorry about that, please do as I mentioned above:
Uninstall the app
Search for %appdata and delete any Deezer folder you find
Restart your computer
Reinstall the app, version 4.32
And then let me know how it goes so that I can pass the info further to our devs currently we haven't fully tested the app on Big Sur, so that could be the issue.
Hi there @aleo
Thanks for sharing this with us!
Not yet @Paul Taylor but it's on our radar - at the moment, for convenience to reach maximum users, we have an Electron app, hence your emulation. Rest assured, we're always looking to improve our apps so that will go down really well

Thanks @Rudi for the M1 update!
Hey @Florian.Müller
Have you tried simply relaunching the app? If yes, then: uninstall the app, restart your computer, and reinstall it. It should fix that annoying little bug out

It helped :)
Deezer desktop 4.32.10 on Windows 10 still sometimes crash after song end with no info.
Thanks for reporting it @JohnyV3
4.32.20 is almost on its way, could you please test if the same happens then?
