Question

mp3 error code ms2002

My mp3-s lately cannot be played due to this MS2002 error code. What is it? Can you solve this problem?

Hi @Gaiofassos !

The MS2002 error on Deezer typically occurs when the Android app is unable to load or play your own MP3 files (those added to "My MP3s" or included in playlists).

What does the MS2002 error mean?
• It indicates an issue with loading content ("Failed to play. The requested content is not loading") for your locally added MP3 tracks.
• It is often related to how the Android app synchronizes, locates, or accesses your uploaded MP3 files - whether from the server or from your device's local storage.

How can you resolve the issue?

• Clear the cache: Open the Deezer app and clear the "Smart Cache" via the menu: Settings > Preferences > Offline & data (or "Storage").
• Sign out and sign back in: Log out of your account, close the app, sign back in, and check if the MP3 files work.
• Reinstall the app: Completely uninstall the Deezer app from your Android device, restart your phone, and download the latest version from the Google Play Store.
• Check synchronization with your computer: If you uploaded the MP3 files using the desktop version of Deezer, ensure that they have been fully uploaded and are accessible on your main user account before attempting to open them on your mobile device.

I too have this error. I did all the proposed steps and it didn't fix it. Happens on all devices. Cannot listen to a single playlist without it stopping due to this error 😑

I also followed all the suggested steps. Still getting the error.

I'm on a Windows/Android system. I've added my personal MP3 files to the My MP3s folder on my PC. I then copied those files to a playlist on my phone and downloaded the playlist. When I try to play a song on my phone I get the error message: "Error: Failed to play. The requested content is not loading. Error: MS2002” I've tried several different songs and verified that they were mp3 files. The interesting thing is that I *can* play these songs using Deezer on my Sonos system controlled from my phone. And I can play the music on my PC.

I am experiencing the same issue. I tried all the suggested steps and it still doesn't work on the app on my phone (android)

However I am still able to load my mp3 songs on the Windows PC app. It just doesn't work on my phone.

Likewise. It's still works on my PC (where these mp3-s stored physically), but not on my phone anymore... and I don't understand why. I've tried everything. It must be a kind of syncronization problem, but I've no idea how to fix it.
