deezer not working correctly with android auto

Hi. When im in my car and ask google to play a song, it says "sure playing....... on deezer" but then it doesn't open the song. If deezer is already open on AA then it just keeps playing the song its on rather than switching to the song I've requested.

Any suggestions? I've done the standard things (clear data and cache in deezer and AA app, reinstalled both, changed battery settings etc)
