Deezer it's not working at all, please help and fix the issue, Im paying for the Hi-Fi that is not working, nothing works online, nothing works off-line. The app cannot play anything at all at any time. I have cleaned cache, cookies, I have, logged out and logged in, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I complete followed all the troubleshooting about and nothing works at all. I have sent four emails to tech support and no answer at all, I wont pay more if I cannot listen to my music. It is not fair. I would have to go to Tidal or other platform that I dont like, just because Deezer service and support never replies, never fix anything. Please help, but for real help, do something. Help!!!

Deezer keeps popping up with the failed to load message, meaning I have to press retry between most tracks (it then loads fine). This is quite frustrating. Is there a way it can retry automatically so I don't have to open my phone every time a new track starts? Thanks.

Phone Samsung j7 Android version 6.0.1

I have some weird issues with a few songs. I have listened to over 200 songs in my library without any issues, but two of them have some issues, there’re two songs with the same title “Maroon 5 - One More Night” from the same album “Overexposed”, the only difference is that one album has a few more songs in it. The problem is, that one of these two tracks can play without issues on desktop app and web, while the other track stops at 0:15 and shows "An error occurred please try again later" message, but I can play both tracks on my phone without issues.

And another issue I have, is that one song, from the album “Chromatics - Kill For Love (Deluxe Edition)” with the title “Into The Black” simply won’t play on my phone, but it does play without issues on desktop app and web. And the same track from the album “Chromatics - Kill For Love” (non-deluxe / standard edition) can play without issues on both, desktop app/web and my phone.

This may seem like a minor issue, but it’s very frustrating. I reported the songs, but nothing was fixed yet. This is some weird and buggy algorithm.

I don’t know about other songs and albums yet, but I don’t want to run into this kind of issues with other tracks.

I have the same error on “Maroon 5 - One More Night”, which occurs in 15s. Too bad it’s not fixed yet. Only getting this issue on the Desktop app. web mobile works fine

Hey @skaveesh

Thanks for letting us know!

Have you tried uninstalling the desktop app, restarting your computer and downloading the latest version? It’s likely to be a problem with the app if the track plays fine on mobile :relaxed:

No it’s too much work for a single track. I’ll just listen to that track on the web :upside_down::upside_down::upside_down:

Deezer has stopped working on my Pioneer XDP300R dap 5days ago.

Android 5.1.1

It keeps on loading forever I tried al the tips mentioned in this forum,  done a factory reset on my Pioneer dap.

Worked on it for hours and hours but sadly nothing works.Very Frustrating.

Absolutely @Csaba.Veres we understand what's at stake here, so it's one of our priorities for this year.

What Android version do you have? @AriRu84

I say that because @Thomas Spct just explained he's on Android 4 and our app will no longer support this version - in order to be able to keep up with our improvements, new features and app performance!

Thank you for your support!

I have 6.0.1

Hi there @Jacques Taco Tap

Sorry about that. We've been investigating an issue with Android 4 and 5, but it should be up and running now. Could you please confirm your Deezer app version so that I can check?

Hey @AriRu84

It should be all OK for that version. What's your Deezer app version and phone model? Do you actually have an SD card?

Is there any chance you can log in with your account on another device to test?

Hi. Today I got new beta version 6.2.25.1. And now it worked. Phone is doogee y6max with custom rom. No sd card. One plus 5 was worked fine. I got multisim both phones with same number. Thanks!

Our next official release has some fixes as well, but the Beta you have is showing real promise @AriRu84 thanks for sharing with us!

I've been getting this message for a few days now. I tried rebooting my phone and reinstalling the app. I don't know what to do, it happens with random songs. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi @estela.figueiredo

Sorry for the inconvenience. Could you please follow the troubleshooting above and let me know if the problem persists?

Hi. I've been having this issue for a while now and have done all the above several times. Which is extremely annoying as then I have to download everything again....... my sd card is no issue it holds transfers etc files and music fine.

My equipment = Samsung S20ultra FiiO BTR3K connected via Bluetooth (Ldac) to IEMs, Computer (internet) via USB to SB G6 to headphones.

This error is constant and random. Streaming or downloaded. Always via hifi other wise I may aswell use apple play.

My App version is = see pictures.

Please advise a sensible answer

I've since signed up to the beta version ... nothing is working regardless of what I do ...... why?  Only a few seconds? Try 40 mins so I've given up ! I need this fixed i listen to music daily 8 plus hours a day ! 😩

This actually happens so often that I'm thinking about cancelling premium and moving to another app. I've had Deezer for years as well. Cleared Cashe, uninstalled, etc and it ends up like this every time. Im using the mobile app on an S10.

Our major focus this year is renewing the app so that it doesn't happen anymore @NuS @MrCouchpotato

It doesn't help that the error message can mean different issues. It could be a network issue, the file for the content is broken, playback, etc...

Please, please hang in there! It's the kind of work that takes a long time but it became one of our major projects for this year :pray_tone2:

@Rudi thank you for your reply I appreciate the time you've taken to do so.

However you've been fixing this for over a year with no real sight into a solid fix, so pardon me if I smell a little fib in your efforts to reassure us as a community.

How will you say sorry to us truly, especially those who have subscribed from basic accounts to top hifi subricptions considering that half the time if not closer to 80% of the time we can't listen to music and on top of that have to constantly delete and format and wipe our music that we've downloaded etc.

A common answer I've seen is Deezer blaming network.... I've been listening to music via streaming services since before they became mainstream I've never had any issue quite like this on any of them I switched to Deezer a while ago for the Hifi capability..... but all the hassle makes me wonder if I should sacrifice the hassle so that I'm actually able to listen to music regardless of quality.

Convince me please.

Ik krijg regelmatig deze fout melding.

=Fout kan niet afspelen.=

Hoe kunnen wij dat verhelpen.

Hi @rolph groenendaal can you please send me a screenshot of the error message that you get in order to help you?
Thanks :)

I have this message after 4 or 5 songs

I was trying to reload several Within Temptation albums, which were corrupted, no luck!

The app is stating that I do not have internet connection, which is total bullshit.

I have very good and fast Internet and all my other devices are working 100% using the same connection.

Why is this happening so often, to have corrupted uploads? Lately it has been problem with WT but also other artists

Thanks for the screenshot @rolph groenendaal
Can you please try the troubleshooting steps mentioned at the top of this page. @jhkm883
That should help to fix the problem.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks :)

Apologies for my reply in English - Polish isn't supported in the community yet :thumbsup_tone2:

Sorry that's happening. Could you try the following steps, exactly in this order, to see if it helps with your issue?

  • make sure you're connected to a wifi network
  • uninstall Deezer
  • clean your phone's cache
  • remove the SD card (if applicable)
  • turn off your phone
  • reinstall Deezer
  • open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
  • reinsert the SD card (if applicable)

Let us know how it goes :relaxed:
