I've already shared your information with our developers.
They couldn't reproduce the issue on Windows 10, but they're currently trying to replicate it on Windows 11.
Once I receive feedback from their side, I'll update you.

Just got an update from the Windows Store (v6.0.220). The desktop app no longer crashes as often as it used to, but it seems like the bug still exists
No updates yet I am afraid, but I have passed the feedback to our devs. Apologies for the inconvenience
Sorry @Jaime.Deezer, I don’t trust you anymore! When you start digging at this community, you can find dozens of promises about reworking the desktop app or huge update with fix many issues till the end of current year.
Years have passed and nothing has changed! The app is still crap full of bugs. My favorite one is when the app crashed (it’s quite often), the electron process stays in background with consuming all CPU resources, so laptop battery is gone almost immediately :(

I was wrong… the bug is still acting as usual.
The desktop player crashes if the window is dragged by the mouse.
I am able to install it. And when trying to launch the Desktop app, I get this:

For the Edge, like I said above, you just need to clear cache and cookies and it should work again. Enjoy Deezer
I have been having a problem for a couple months already, my Deezer suddenly increases the volume to the maximum leading to hurtful, annoying and upsetting situations.

I’m experiencing an issue with synchronization between the desktop and mobile versions of the app. Specifically:
When playing music through the desktop app, the playback doesn’t sync to mobile.
Additionally, if I play music on mobile, it overwrites the play queue on the desktop app.
A particular case occurs when I pause music on the desktop for around 30 minutes without playing anything on mobile; in this situation, the play queue on the desktop often gets replaced by the mobile queue unexpectedly.
Could you look into this synchronization issue? Thank you!
Hello @makan @Alex Zinich @Eli Akerman H @LindaR713 @jirikovoego I was reviewing this topic and want to know from you if the experience has improved.
Recently, we have released version 6.0.270 which corrected some pain points that the Desktop app was suffering from.
The job is not done yet, as there are so many improvements we can do, and hopefully more corrections are expected for the first quarter of 2025.
Hi @Leonídia.Deezer, I’m using Deezer via Windows Store, so the latest version. The only improvement I found is I can close the lyric and quizes by close button. Congrats. Dosens of other issues and annoying designs is still present. For example:
Desktop app is really slow for work even on my brand-new laptop.
The app sometimes crashes, but the process stuck at the process list and consume lot of computer resources.
Searching is pain despite recent improvement (great progress btw). When open some playlist for example, after return number I’m back on top of search result :(
Apps keeps me logout every few days. Very annoying.
Windows close button doesn’t work for years! Almost every single Windows app quit after click on the exit “cross” button. Only messenger apps (makes sense) and Deezer break this rule. It’s totally annoying. You promised to change this behaviour years back.
When wake app the app from system tray (after click on exit button) hotkeys don’t work.
Native support for Apple M CPU or Windows on ARM, as far as I know, is still lacking.
Queue sync between desktop and mobile is very unreliable.
Apps is really ugly :-)
All of these has been mentioned in this community many times. Does anyone in your company use this app at all?
Dear Leonidia, someone from Deezer promised a huge rework by the end of year. It looks like another broken promise, as usual.
You should keep eye at Project Saturn, an unofficial Deezer client. It’s amazing what a few unpaid volunteers can handle compared to your team. No offense.
I like Deezer. You have some great and unique features which work great (flow is awesome, you have great sound quality, mobile app is pretty good...), but the Desktop app (which I use daily, unlike mobile one) is a nightmare. I’m sick and tired of your promises about what next.
In mid-January, I have my subscription anniversary. After ten years of being part of the Deezer family, I'm not sure I want to continue with you.
I'm using Deezer on Firefox, and very occasionally, maybe a couple times a week, a song on my queue will repeat without repeat being turned on. Because of its frequency it is hardly an annoyance but I thought I'd mention it here nonetheless.
