Features & Feedback

In the MacOS app if I scroll down on the page, click to navigate to a different page and come back via the back button, the scroll position resets to the top of the page. This behavior is very annoying as I constantly open an artist’s album and when going back I need to scroll back to where I was if I want to open another album. You can find a screen capture with the issue. Please fix this as it’s one of the biggest annoyances in terms of UX and it gives the impression of a lack of polish to new users.I’m willing to give a hand with implementing this fix.

Very nice to have access to my Deezer account in my new car using Android Automotive, but I am missing the podcasts I listen to and I subscribed to in my Deezer account, Why is this feature not yet available in Deezer on AAOS?

Started my Deezer free trial today. Liking the catalog / selection, and flow seems nice for times when I don't want to manage the next songs myself. However, the queuing behavior seems to be missing basic features to the point of nearly being unusable.I would like to be able to start playing one song, and add only that one song to the queue. As far as I can tell, even with the "automated recommendations" untoggled, attempting to play one song will load up the queue with ~40 tracks that I didn't ask for. Is there some way to turn this auto-add behavior off? I would like to be able to clear the queue without having to start playing anything else (like starting flow). Is this also not an option? After searching, I've found posts on these forums from 6+ years ago(!) of people asking for these things. Is this basic stuff really not available? I'm currently using the browser player -- if things are really this bad, is there some other client the behaves more reasonably?

im checking from time to time the https://developers.deezer.com/myapps page if the registration is working/open again. Is there any plan or ETA when it will be available again?I would like to organize my little playlists via API

I recently switched from Spotify to Deezer (I absolutely love Flow and the genre/mood recommendations — I’m discovering a lot of new music that Spotify never really recommended to me), but I noticed something unusual: tracks in Deezer on PC sound almost twice as loud as on Spotify at the exact same volume level on my wireless headset. Spotify volume normalization is completely disabled. What’s interesting is that if I enable volume normalization in Deezer, the loudness becomes almost identical to Spotify (with normalization still disabled there). Why does this happen? I found another thread discussing Deezer’s loudness normalization, but not in this specific context. My assumption is that Deezer streams the audio signal much closer to the original mastered output in FLAC without additional processing from the platform (even if I switch from HiFi to 320 kbps, the loudness does not change at all), exactly as intended by the sound engineers, so some tracks may naturally sound louder or quie

I have tried the "launch track" feature, but only one song is in the playlist. Some of the other songs either behave the same way or have only two or three tracks in the playlist, which seems like a bug to me.

Hi,I would like to create a Deezer app for SailfishOS.Plan 1 (native, better mobile power management, preffered)It used to be that you offered an NDK, compiled for armv7hl (32-bit) but now the OS is mostly migrated to 64-bit only, so that would not help today. Is there an aarch64 NDK release? Plan 2 (Javascript, faster development time, speedy)I’ve read the Javascript SDK docs and hosted a page on my domain, with a channel.html and all.The URL it tries to load (https://www.deezer.com/plugins/player.php?channel=http://MY_DOMAIN/channel.html&app_id=MY_APP_ID&width=800&height=300) does not exist anymore (MY_ vars are correct).Basically player.php is 404. Plan 3: (Use the JSON API + Widget player, unsupported?)I don’t see this documented anywhere. Basically you can request user’s playlists like https://developers.deezer.com/api/user/playlists and with the results, instantiate a widget like <iframe title="deezer-widget" src="https://widget.deezer.com/widget/dark/playlist/14794

Hi Deezer team,I’d like to request the ability to import local audio files directly from phone storage into the Deezer Android app (My MP3), without requiring desktop upload.Currently, adding personal tracks on Android depends on a desktop browser, which is not always accessible for mobile-only users. Many listeners keep rare tracks, live recordings, or personal audio files on their phones and want them integrated into their Deezer library.Android provides secure system file picker APIs that allow user-selected audio import without broad storage access. Several music apps already support this workflow.Suggested flow:My MP3 → Import from device → select audio file → add to My MP3This would make My MP3 usable directly on mobile and improve the overall Deezer experience for users who rely on their phones as primary devices. Thanks for considering this feature.

This is nonsense. How are young people who might not know what they like get started on deezer?

OK, no streaming service is currently perfect, but geez Deezer, what is going on?So, no real functionality with the Apple watch application. The dread screaming volume issue while I am streaming to my HiFi system negates my ability to install Deezer on my Apple Watch. I cannot believe this has not yet been addressed. The use of these Apple devices (iPhone and Watch) I would assume is common enough that this would warrant attention? Now, in the same circumstances, there are no issues with Apple Music. So, score a win for Apple Music. CarPlay will now play only 4-6 tracks after which Deezer freezes. The only way to continue is to close the Deezer app, reopen and reconnect to CarPlay. My music is downloaded to my phone so connectivity should not be an issue. Yep, how does that work for an extended road trip? Apple music will play for hours with no such issue. Score another win for Apple Music. Streaming to my HiFi (KEF) system is my major listening experience, thankfully here Deezser is a

I saw a thread on this from 5 years ago - it’s ridiculous that Deezer still hasn’t implemented this feature, especially as it’s already on the iOS and Android apps. It would be much more convenient to add an entire album to a playlist (including the ‘Favourite tracks’ playlist) all at once rather than having to add one track at a time.

The desktop clients have “Go Back” and “Go Forward” functions in the View menu. Why not assign the standard browser back/forward keyboard shortcuts to these functions Windows: Alt + left, Alt + right macOS: Cmd + left, Cmd + right Especially while the back/forward buttons remain broken, this would be a great help, but also just a good standard feature.

I can get deezer to play by using my voice on alexa, but Spotify and Amazon music allow you to use the phone apps to pick play lists, songs, and chose where to play the music. Ie play 9n denon receiver, kitchen group speakers, everywhere ....

HiI am struggling with cleaning my listening queue on Deezer. Can anybody help? Thanks

The title is all I need to know.

I’ve noticed that with a lot of music I listen to, launching the Track Mix will result in playing just the same artist or music completely unrelated or different from the original track. Are there any plans to improve this? Currently, when this happens, I gather the track playlist from Spotify and bring it over to Deezer. I feel like Deezer needs to do a better job with more obscure artists and songs. Discovery is a big part of why I choose the music streaming service that I use.

I have a few different sleep playlist. I often have trouble sleeping, so I play them literally all night rather than using a sleep timer. This means my sleep music is always my top stat for every month and my top recommendations every month are sleep music-related.  The dilemma, I like being recommended new music to add to my insomniac nightmare, but this music is not my regular music that I enjoy listening to while intentionally awake.  Is there a balance for “add to sleepy time, but here's your metal too”? I can only seem to turn off sleep recommendations.

HiI sometimes report a problem with lyrics using the desktop app but nothing ever seems to get fixed.  Is it worth me continuing to report these problems?Thank you.

Didn’t Most Played songs from an artist use to be accessible right from the Artist page? I now have to browse through the discography and launch tracks from albums or playlists, which I really don’t like, especially when listening to an artist I don’t know very well (both on Android and Mac)

“Don't Like” button disappeared in Flow today. I’m on deezer.com on Windows PC. Anyone else? How do I fix this? Is Flow not feeling well today?

Anyone else experiencing this issue lately? All was working fine until yesterday when using my Alexa to play tracks through Deezer, it struggled to find tracks. So, I disabled the skill and re-enabled and then tried to link the account.Im now stuck in an unending loop of selecting my account and then clicking on the continue button and can no longer use Deezer on any Alexa device.

When browsing the platform on the pc app or web player in full screen mode, there is no way to go back to the previous page. Am I missing something?

The application shuts down when I hold the left button on top of the app and try to move it around the screen. Didn’t find where to report the bug, but it’s really annoying, so I found out I can post it here.

The Deezer Android app now has a built-in equalizer feature.Just go to Audio Output to configure it.Enjoy! 😉

When I Alt+tab into Deezer (desktop application on Windows 10), spacebar doesn’t pause/resume music...unless I click on the application and then press spacebar (which defeats the entire purpose of a hotkey). I saw another thread from FIVE YEARS AGO bringing up similar concerns about spacebar not working at all.
