Hi

when on earth anytime I open Deezer there is already a QUEUE of music I don’t care about?
I am new to Deezer and honestly this is so annoying that I am even considering canceling my subscription.

Also, why on earth is not possible to clean the queue instead of deleting each song one by one?

Come on Deezer, fix this. you can do better than this.

The Deezer queue displays upcoming songs, which can be individual tracks added via "Play next" or "Add to queue," as well as the remainder of an album or playlist.
When playing the Flow, the queue represents a dynamic list based on your musical tastes.

I know that feature clear queue is important to some people, but unfortunately it is the way it is.

I tried to help and wrote an article on how to clean the queue.
I don't know if you have watched it. It is in the link above.

It would be a shame to cancel your subscription to Deezer just because of the impossibility of clear queue problems,

, but you know what's best for you.

Try the following:
Click on Real Power  by Gossip and go to Deezer , press play (you can then press stop) .
After that, open the queue ... now there is only one song in the queue .

Actually without a button that Clear all queue I think there is no solution to this issue.

thanks anyway

Also, I think it is a real shame that Deezer did not add this feature after so many years, honestly it is making me consider canceling my subscription, I don’t want to pay for a service that does not care about users requests.

It's question about default queue at PC when you start app. Why this default queue making from random tracks, rather then from loved tracks?

It's so painfully bad that they haven't resolved this after so many years

I have recently started having the same problem and feel people are misinterpreting the OP’s complaint.

After using Deezer for years without issue, i now see a Queue full of music i have never added, do not care for, from top 40 artists i actively avoid and do not follow, every time i open Deezer on my Windows PC.

Its 98 tracks of top 40 stuff I have never listened to like Ariana Grande and Lily Allen. (for context i mostly listen to experimental electronica, never pop).

If i clear the queue one by one, clicking the X symbol next to each track, then the queue is clear apart from one track, but when i close and re-open Deezer…  this cursed queue returns! So the issue is not with CLEARING the queue (which is indeed onerous), but with the Queue being seemingly auto-populated from somewhere whenever i open the app.

I suspect this is another dreadful development in the Deezer service - a feature rather than a bug - much like the Notifications suddenly becoming populated with random garbage from artists we don’t follow, in an effort to promote said artists at the expense of the UX.

At one point i started to wonder if someone else was using my Deezer account, unauthorised, and considered changing my password. In my view if a feature feels like account compromise, it is a bad feature!

As a workaround i am using Synchronised Queue list which takes a queue from my Android phone (of music i was actually listening to) and presents it on my PC, but really this feature seems broken to me in it’s current state.

Frankly these issues are pushing me to Tidal...
