Streaming from App to Amazon Echo Devices

Why is it not possible to stream to Amazon echo or other speakers? Do you seriously think a product that only works with headsets/earbuds is a realistic proposition in 2023? Every single competitor is now able to do this. Tidal, Amazon music, pandora, Spotify, YouTube music.

 

Pull your fingers out and fix this quickly. It's a basic requirement

    Deezer can certainly be streamed to Alexa/Echo devices; I am doing it right now. I just asked Alexa to play my Flow on deezer on my Echo Studio and it’s happening.

    Or do you mean casting rather than streaming?

    Because of the services you listed, only Amazon Music will cast to Echo devices. Spotify can also use Spotify Connect to control the stream, but Tidal will not (there is not even an Alexa skill outside the US), YouTube Music is completely incompatible, and Pandora needs voice requests like deezer.

    I can also AirPlay deezer to my HomePods and to my Sonos speakers directly from my deezer app. It also works via CarPlay, so it’s not limited to headsets and earbuds.

    Was this just a bit of a dramatic license or are you confused?

      You can directly play Deezer on Echo using the Alexa app. About the detailed tutorial, you can see this post. Hope it is helpful.

        Deezer cannot play to echo device. It's frustrating. I don't want to play deezer from alexa, I want to be able to play to my echo speakers via wifi like I do on Spotify. This is specifically useful because it enables me roam around the house with worrying that my Bluetooth is going to disconnect. It also enables me access playback and select particular songs from my phone while using my phone for other sound functions like call and social media. 

        Please fix this. It's causing inconvenience and I'm already thinking of moving totally to Spotify if not for my playlists.

          Yes, I recently move from Spotify because #FreePalestine and I'm absolutely mad that I cannot play or control Deezer from my phone without using Bluetooth. It's annoying. I want to control my music without listening my other apps notifications or if I want to make a call, I don't have to worry about people listening to it. Please Fix it

            I have same problem - In spotify you can click on “connect” and see all Alexa devices/ and / or Sonos on your network - and play to any of them you like - Deezer does not have network connectivity to Alexa devices  or Sonos - it really needs a Network componect to find the other devices on the home network and be able to stream to them.

            I am unfourtunately limited to Amazon Music or Spotify for this ability.

            Please update and add this feature.

                  I've used Spotify for years, this is day 2 trying Deezer and I've run straight into this. 

                  I want to use my phone Deezer app Ui to choose what I'm listening to, and I want to hear it on all my Alexa devices simultaneously. This was standard functionality with Spotify
