Our Desktop/Web app can improve, and we need your help
This is the topic dedicated to all problems you may face when using our desktop and web apps, big or small.
What should I post here?
if the app is acting in an unusual way, when you click on the menus and buttons, for example
if the player is displaying error messages, or if the playback is interrupted, let us know
if you're unable to login, or if the app kicks you out, we need to be aware too
if it simply crashes on you, when you connect or not to a device, it's better to leave a comment
if you have tips or workarounds to share, they'll be very welcome too
This topic is intended for version 4.20.0 and above, and for our browser version of Deezer

Hi folks,
>Desktop App 5.30.650, Windows 11]
the notification bell is not clickable anymore for the last couple of days. It works just fine in the browser version.
Happy weekend!
Did you try to clean cache and cookies on your browser?
If you use different browsers or incognito mode, do you have the same issue?
Yes
Finally, do you experience the same issue on the Desktop app?
No
Hi @Schwejo@Jarosław Pietruszka , thanks for your messages. Indeed this is a known issue and our developers are working on a fix. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Hi @Schwejo@Jarosław Pietruszka, could you please install this desktop version and check if the issue persists.

Hi @Leonídia.Deezer, it works fine with the updated version, thank you!
Hi @Schwejo@Jarosław Pietruszka, could you please install this desktop version and check if the issue persists. This version fixed the notification bell, but the buttons inside the Letters did not.
Hi @Gabriel.Eugenio.Dvoranen, could you please send me a screenshot or a video recording of the issue that is still present?

I shared it with a OneDrive link, but now I've also put it on YouTube.

Same behavior for me.
Hi @Schwejo@Jarosław Pietruszka, could you please install this desktop version and check if the issue persists.
Issue I’ve reported is related to browser web player only.
To see all albums of artist I first have to scroll all the way to the bottom for them to load, then scroll back up to see the albums that then appeared. Almost unsubscribed, though your artist catalogues are lacking.
Deezer 5.3.670 Windows
Hello @Ratso does this happens in the web version or mobile app too or just on the Desktop app? could you please provide a video with the issue in order to help our devs to investigate? Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience
The log in and sign up buttons don’t work anymore so I can’t use the app at the moment.

edit: should have tried this first, it works again after rebooting.
Fix this. - Please do not tell me to clear my cache, as that does not work.
More bugs.. some songs decided to go "missing” but actually are available.
Oh brilliant, just scrolled down to view more, and then back up. Now they are all grey Refreshing the page brings them back though, except for those original few.
Last update seems to have added more bugs.
I deleted a playlist, but that playlist stayed in the playlist column on the left side. After restarting the app it was gone, but now deezer goes black when opening any other playlist. It appeared to go into an infinite loop because deezer kept using 100% of 1 CPU thread. That tread kept running after closing the app (in the taskbar tray) and it even kept running after starting a new instance of the app. I tried opening the same playlist again and the same thing happened. After 5 times doing this, I had 5 threads hogging the cpu and fans started blowing. I could only end those processes in task manager.
Opening that playlist in the webplayer works fine.
also still having a lot of “an error occured” with some songs or albums, on average after about every 15 songs.
And a minor bug where the green indicator for downloaded playlists disappears for some playlists. The songs are still downloaded, but the green indicator is missing until I click on download again. Maybe something to do with a limit in amount of playlists?
Speaking of limits, I really like the new playlist column, but it only shows 20 playlists. So when I want to listen to a playlist that’s not in that column, I have to go look for it in the not-so-userfriendly user interface. A ‘more’ button in the playlist column would be great. And a way to order the playlists as well. :)
Deezer 5.30.140 for Windows.
After switching to Deezer application with alt+tab or via taskbar pressing Space does not pause (or start) playback. You have to click somewhere inside the Deezer window in order to sort of “focus” UI and make Space work.
(Curiously, Ctrl+arrows can change volume immediately after swtching to the applicatio, additional clicking is not necessary)
Still not working
When I try to drag the Deezer window around in Mac Os, it only works when I kinda click & drag just above search bar. Fix this please, it would be logical to drag it from the left top side of the window. But that doesn't work.
No option in the Context Menu "Listen next" and "Add to Queue" at Mix (screenshot) - Deezer 60.0.30
In addition, when playing a single song, the Playlist goes into MIX mode (some songs), making it impossible to add songs to the list.
No problem at the moment - 09:46, 27.12.2023 Sorry, Please delete this two posts
