Music stops after a one or few songs

When playing a playlist or an album I would expect the next song to automatically start after the current song ends.
The current behavior, however, stops the playback after one, or just a few songs. When this happens I cannot manually switch to a new song, all play/pause buttons control the song that just ended. So until I reload the page all I can do is listen to the same song over and over.

Hi there @maks.kolman

We'll keep an eye on this to see if it's a repeat of the previous issue you mentioned. I haven't seen anyone else reporting this issue in our community recently, especially using Linux.
You could try to clean the browser cache to see if it helps. It could also be that something in your computer is preventing the app to work as it should be, like an antivirus or energy saving settings, for example.
It's important to note that Linux isn't officially supported by Deezer.

Hello @JedJd, the problem might seem the same on all platform when it happens, but the cause is not always. Let us know on which device you have this issue, which is the version of the Deezer app and also in which quality you’re trying to play your music. I do agree that this must be for us a priority.

Have a nice weekend, and thank you for your support!

Same issue here.

Running the app on Windows 10 (downloaded through Microsoft Store). Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Rebooted computer in-between tries. This issue has been ongoing for the past year (couldn’t say before that).

Not only does the app stop playing after a single song, but the « Next » button doesn’t even allow me to manually advance to the next song.

I tried several browsers and reinstall app - and still nothing.

Windows 10

Deezer app 4.19.20

Music in Standard quality (128kb/s). I’m using Wi-fi, 10Mb/s, but I'm sure the problem has nothing to do with my connection.

Hi there @GameT1tan @Roger L.

Thanks for letting us know. Is this happening on 4.19.20?

@JedJd If it is, could you try downloading this version and trying again?

Hello @JedJd, we’ve just released a new version of the app (4.19.30), could you download it and let us know if you still have the issue with it?

Thank you

I have the same issue on three different laptops, on two or three different browsers on all those three laptops (IE, Chrome, Firefox). It does not happen on the mobiles, though. We have free accounts, we do not use the desktop app and all devices run under Windows. It seems a very systemic problem, happening to quite a lot of people.

Hey @chechocol

Have you tried our 4.20 version? It's brand new and has been rolled out gradually - it'd be interesting to see if there's a difference on this one so keep us posted :thumbsup_tone2:
