When playing a playlist or an album I would expect the next song to automatically start after the current song ends.

The current behavior, however, stops the playback after one, or just a few songs. When this happens I cannot manually switch to a new song, all play/pause buttons control the song that just ended. So until I reload the page all I can do is listen to the same song over and over.

please disable the antivirus and see if it helps. Sometimes anti-virus apps cause problems with AutoPlay of audios apps.

Okay, will try and say later

Happens to me also. Stops playing mid song like it’s buffering.

Windows store app, deezer premium HiFi, 100mb fiber connection

I keep experiencing the same problem every time in the Windows application, and even in the web player. This is completely frustrating and made me choose another plafeform than Deezer

Hi there @TheDioscuri @Roxanne Lebeuf @panduryk

If you have a HiFi subscription, please bear in mind that our devs have released a desktop app hotfix to reduce these tracks errors when playing in FLAC format. Please update the app or wait for the automatic download and let us know if you notice an improvement :thumbsup_tone2:

@Rudi , Same issue here continues on macOS Version 4.25.0 (4.25.0.129), which according to the app is the latest.

Faced the same problem. After the end of the track, the next one does not turn on and the switching buttons do not work. Only a full page reload in the web version helps. Also recently, a message began to appear stating that "the computer is not on the network", but as you understand, I am now writing to you from this computer and it is very much even on the network.

Windows 10, Chrome and PC app

Hey @aatac

Sorry to hear that. What kind of troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Hi @Niksons Have you trying clearing cache and cookies of your Chrome? And changing audio quality settings on the desktop app? The issue could be caused by different things, I'm trying to see which bug reports fits best here :thumbsup_tone2:

@Rudi The issue happens intermittently when playing at “High Fidelity” lossless quality. I’m casually just listening to playlists and it will happen sporadically when playing down the list. When I switch back to “Better” 320kbps it doesn’t happen. It’s not user error, something is causing playback failure when using “High Fidelity”.

I've replied to you on the other topic @aatac we've worked hard to fix that HiFi playback issue, especially from the desktop app - but it could be that there are some hiccups. Let me know!

I just realize that this is not my bluetooth headset issues and so many of us hv experienced this 😆

Its happen too often so maybe I will stop my subscription next month if its not fixed

I have the same issue.
Music stops after 1 song. Next button doesn`t work. If I click on an playlist, first song start to play.
This issue is in all browsers in PC and Windows app also. Only reload page allow to play other song once again.
I tried to clear site data, browser data, reload PC etc.

But if I open my account on other PC it works.

Hey there @charits muntachib @mykhaylo.fedyna

Thanks a lot for reporting this. Could I please have browser, OS and app versions so that I can let our devs know more about this in detail?

In the meantime, Happy New Year!

Hello all,

Exact same situation here.

Used to test:

  • Pale Moon 28.17
  • Chrome 88.0.4324.104
  • Edge  88.0.705.50

Os: Windows 10 19041.746

Deezer App (latest available version)

Hey @Cimethar

Thanks a lot for reporting this here, I'll pass it on. In the meantime, I've sent you a password reset email - could you please try changing your password and trying it again?

Hi @Rudi,

just tested this some minutes ago, I reset my password, logged back into Deezer webpage, same issue, player stops after 1 song (on PaleMoon) and the next button doesn’t react. When I refresh the page I can play one more song.

I tried the same on Chrome and here it worked, I was able to listen to 5 songs in one row.
After this I closed Chrome and re-tested with PaleMoon, and this works too, for now.

If the issue reappears I’ll keep you posted.

Kind Regards,

Cimethar

Same here on firefox OSX.

Problem is clearly on deezer side. Too much plateform or configuration are affected.

Hey @Cimethar

That's very interesting feedback. Our devs are constantly working on the Web version, and browsers are also updating all the time - it's important to have this kind of feedback constantly. So please keep me posted!

@frac apologies for that, we've been having some issues with Firefox for a while, but we continue to work on it :thumbsup_tone2:

i have been having the same problem since the last month. and i use the deezer desktop app on windows 7

I'm having the same problem but on PC. It works all right on my phone. You guys have a good streaming service here. But on PC, when I logged in with the same account, it just won't play the next song. When I try it manually, it just plays the first song again. This happened both on the website and the app. It's probably because  the computer I use is a wonky one from 2010 with a Core 2 processor. Dell Optiplex 760.

Hi there @Dubstepfireball @biebersepiphany @Dmitry Plyaskin

Thank you so much for the reports. Could you please try something rather unusual? Could you please log out and reset your passwords? Let me know how it goes!

I have the same problem. Music stops after played song. After reload page I can listen only one song and after deezer stops again…

I was changing browsers, clear caches, nothing helped me.

I listen music in browser, Chrome last version, free acc.

Dev console (Sorry it’s Russian not English)
