Music stops after a one or few songs

When playing a playlist or an album I would expect the next song to automatically start after the current song ends.
The current behavior, however, stops the playback after one, or just a few songs. When this happens I cannot manually switch to a new song, all play/pause buttons control the song that just ended. So until I reload the page all I can do is listen to the same song over and over.

This might be the repeat of:

Debug info:
Using Google Chrome Version 71.0.3578.98 on Debian-based Linux with kernel 4.18.10

Hi there @maks.kolman

We'll keep an eye on this to see if it's a repeat of the previous issue you mentioned. I haven't seen anyone else reporting this issue in our community recently, especially using Linux.
You could try to clean the browser cache to see if it helps. It could also be that something in your computer is preventing the app to work as it should be, like an antivirus or energy saving settings, for example.
It's important to note that Linux isn't officially supported by Deezer.

Hi there @Sebastian Ukleja

Can you please reinstall the app?

I’ve tried that option and I download the entire playlist again and keep the download but on. I look at the entire list and confirm that every song has that green dot beside every song.

I then turn on the offline feature and launch the playlist. The first song plays fine but when the song finishes the app will not play the next song or any other song for that matter. Please help me out with this issue. Thank you.

Hey guys!

i also have the same problem on the ios app with a premium account. I noticed it about two weeks ago. I have to manually press play after each song wich is very annoying. I have an iPhone XR with ios 13.3.
I reinstalled the app, it didn’t solve the problem.
Hope you fix it soon.

Kind regards,

Bogdan

I have the same issue. I am with iPhone XR the OS and the app are up-to-date. I play an album, and then it plays just one song and pauses, then I manually start the next one and it happens again and again. I have Bluetooth headphones nearby, but my phone’s Bluetooth is turned off then. I am not sure if this happens only in do not disturb mode, as I am trying to play some relaxing music while falling asleep. But it is so irritating. I am with Family membership too.

Hi @Peruna we are very sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. Please bear in mind that listening to music is using loads of data. In case the issue only happens with mobile data, try strong Wifi or make sure your music is downloaded for sure

In case you are still experiencing the same issue, please contact us again.

Hi @JohnM we are very sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. Could you please check whether this only happens when your audio quality is set to High Fidelity FLAC or is this happening with other audio quality settings as well?

Please bear in mind that listening to music is using loads of data. In case the issue only happens with mobile data, try strong Wifi or make sure your music is downloaded for sure.

Which device are you connecting to your Cocktail Audio in order to listen to music on Deezer?

As soon as we have your replies we can help you further with this matter

Well, is looks like this problem occurs in all platforms, wheter you are using wifi or not.  If it weren’t for that problem, Deezer would be perfect, but i keep experiencing the same problem every time in the Windows application, and even in the web player. There is no problem with cache or data, but with the Deezer platform, and this is completely anoying, and it should be the number 1 priority in terms of corrections. In my opinion, this is what deezer need to do to surpass its competitors.
