:cyclone: Endless loading? If your phone app isn't loading the tracks or it's stuck with the message "Error: requested content is not loading", don't worry :smirk: . Try the steps mentioned below.

After each step, try playing the music again. If it’s still not working, go to the next step.

Steps for Android

  1. Restart the app (kill the app and remove it from the notification bar)
  2. Try another network (4G or Wifi)
  3. Restart your phone
  4. Delete all the cache & data from the app (Data and storage, and then “Clear all”), then restart the app
  5. Un-install the app and re-install the app

Steps for iOS

  1. Quit and relaunch the app
  2. Try another mobile (4G or Wifi)
  3. Empty Smart Cache
  4. Restart the phone
  5. Clear the app data
  6. Delete the app and reinstall it

I totally get you @SSS1 sorry about that!

The good news is that everyone here is working on developing a better and more reliable app, especially for Android. So that you won't need to do anything at all!

Please hang in there and keep the app updated in the meantime :pray_tone2:

Hello, I play deezer on my Android phone but that’s all I’m getting is “loading … almost there, only a few seconds left”.  It’s been like that for  hours now!  Any suggestions please?

Hi @Julie.Ward please check the info above in this page and follow the troubleshooting steps.
I hope that works :nerd:

This is horrible app logic on Deezer's part. If an app can't load it's own downloaded content in the middle of playlist playback, then, at least it should just try to silently skip to next song in queue. This behavior is breaking playlists and pushing the responsibility down to end-users. Totally unacceptable! It is your app and it's own data cache, which it should maintain on it's own without asking for anything from an end-user. Twice already did Deezer interrupt my playlist playback in this manner, and I swear, next time I'm uninstalling it, cancelling my subscription and moving elsewhere.

Good morning,

When I put play on some music it doesn't work and I would like to know why does it happen ?

I attached a screen to show it to you.

It's always the same message and it arrives for all kind of music.

Thanks

hi @andreaconti78 please check the information above in this page and follow the SD Card troubleshooting steps.
If the problem persists after that please let us know :nerd:

:cyclone: Endless loading? If your phone app isn't loading the tracks or it's stuck with the message "Error: requested content is not loading", don't worry :smirk: . Try the tips mentioned below.

  • If you're on Android, you can clear your cache to see if it helps. For that, you need to go on settings > app > clear all
  • If you're on iOS, all you need to do is to reinstall the app

If you need further help, take a look:

Remove all my music???!! 😲 10yrs of making my playlists wiped just because Deezer has made a mistake?surely you can do better. Deezer. Spotify, here I come!

I am unable to access my downloaded songs when I am offline. I keep getting "Error loading content". I have read your fix to clear cache but this delete all my downloaded music. Honestly there should be a better way to fix this problem than deleting my over 3000 songs and downloading them all over again. It costs money.

Hmmm.....costs money..maybe you're into something. There..?

Hi there @maisolomonic

Sorry that's happening. Could you try the following steps, exactly in this order, to see if it helps with your issue?

  • make sure you're connected to a wifi network
  • uninstall Deezer
  • clean your phone's cache
  • remove the SD card (if applicable)
  • turn off your phone
  • reinstall Deezer
  • open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
  • reinsert the SD card (if applicable)

Let us know how it goes :relaxed:

I feel like this is an app issue, everything else works.

It is @EthanMiller

We're aware of that and we're working to sort this out permanently this year, with major improvements due to the Android app. We have to provide a more robust and reliable app for our Android users :relaxed:

Hey @Suk4UrSolution

Apologies for the inconvenience. Please see above for more info and the troubleshooting steps I've posted :relaxed:

It looks like it started ny not loading the albums I wanted to listen to. So I uninstalled the app, restarted the phone, and reinstalled the app.

But it s loading and ends up telling that an error has occured, and to try again.

Any idea ?

Hey @j_remi

Thanks for reporting this to us. Could you please try following the troubleshooting steps mentioned here in this thread?

Let us know if the problem persists!

The function to “Launch Track mix” is no longer working.

Regardless of the song, artist, etc. the same message comes up:

“Oops… The requested content is not loading.”

This has been the case for a couple of weeks.

Is there a fix?

(FYI I am using app version 8.33.0.3)

Thank you.

Deeper stops several times before it will play continuously.

Hey @staycee @bry_mett

Check the topic above and try some of our troubleshooting tips. Keep us posted :relaxed:

Have a great weekend!

Hello.

Since around 03.11.2021, I've started to recieve 'Error - failed to load content' on:

1) Both PC / Smartphone

2) Both cellular / Wifi

3) On any audio quality

Can you please confirm that this is a GLOBAL problem for all country users and your services, therefore, became useless in Russia?

Thanks.

Hi there @timaero

Thanks for reporting this. There's no issue with streaming in your country.

Please follow the troubleshooting above for your Android app.

On PC, please confirm the tracks in which this error message appears. It could be a content issue.

In the meantime, I'll let our developers know what you said. Have a great week!

Hey @Rudi !

Your app worked fine for years (and I was very happy with it), but it’s been around a week (maybe a bit more ?) I couldn’t use the function research anymore, I got either nothing in response or just “try another time”.

So I followed your advice, I removed everything, reinstalled it, and now nothing is displayed anymore (I can only log in, and then nothing loads, I cannot see my profile for example).

Here are the info about my device :

Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100P)

Android 4.1.2

Deezer 5.4.26.35 (last available version for my device)

Thanks for your help !

Dont work. I do all triks. I reset my phone to default and even dont play any files anymore.

I hope so. Judging from how long this issue has been around and that your suggested fixes don’t seem to work - they don’t work for me either - you will lose a lot of customers if you don’t sort this out!

Absolutely @Csaba.Veres we understand what's at stake here, so it's one of our priorities for this year.

What Android version do you have? @AriRu84

I say that because @Thomas Spct just explained he's on Android 4 and our app will no longer support this version - in order to be able to keep up with our improvements, new features and app performance!

Thank you for your support!

Hi Rudi, I'm on Android 11 on a OnePlus 8. I reinstalled the application once again after I wrote the post and it seems to be more stable so far. Fingers crossed. I'm also using Deezer HiFi, which probably doesn't make any difference but maybe it does?

I'm mainly a desktop user so I am not so tied to the Android app.

Thanks for your enthusiasm!
