In the last few days in the Android phone app, when go to artist it no longer lists albums and singles separately? Is this a glitch or deliberate change ??? Is so much better to just get a list of albums only....... was fine until a few days ago.

Currently, volume interface on the desktop app is bad because we have to hover our mouse over the sound icone, wait for the volume slider to appear, then only can we change the volume.And we have to do that every single time. It’s annoying at best.What I would suggest is to put the volume slider directly visible on the app next to a mute button (there’s a lot of free space there) and if you think it’s still needed, when the size of the app is reduced to a point where it’s not possible to show the slider properly anymore then dynamically revert back to the hover-mouse-over version.

I think Deezer should create an interface that adapts to the music and offer free months in the coming months, like the three or two months before Christmas, and why not add an AUTOMATIC MIX mode. Allows seamless transitions between tracks in certain playlists.

Add album to a playlist from the artist pageNot for now

There is a playlist that I use to keep track of artists/ albums/ tracks that I don’t want to forget about so that I can dedicate time to listen at a later time; perhaps I’m out, or hearing about an artist during a conversation, or reading about an artist online while already listening to something else. Often times I’ll end up on an artist’s page wanting to add certain albums (some, but not all - e.g. only studio albums, only re-issues or re-recordings, no EPs or LPs, etc.) and the process is currently a little painful, especially for artists that may have dozens of albums. I can either add the album to a queue and then add the entire queue to a playlist (which isn’t really an option if I’m already listening to something, for example), or if I happen to be using the web app I can open each album’s page in a new tab, select all the tracks and then add them them to the playlist.I’d love it if in addition to “Listen next,” “Add to queue,” and “Add to my favourites” there was an “Add to playlist” action available to streamline this process at least, and ideally, also have the ability to select multiple albums from an artist’s page and add the selected albums as use the “Listen next,” “Add to queue,” “Add to my favourites,” or “Add to playlist” actions. Just do it. 😉 Might be a Premium feature perhaps if it costs too much server space and/or bandwidth. And please add internal Last.fm scrobbling to uploaded files, too (works with browser extension Web Scrobbler in the Deezer web player which cannot stream FLAC though). Would be great if we could listen to these FLAC files in any device as well, not only in the desktop app which allows HiFi streaming. Very odd Top Tracks algorithms (system/list)New

When I explore for a new bands, I always want to hear the best (the most popular) tracks first. Not even when I explore, but just listen to some old band with their old good songs (not just new)Instead of this, Deezer offers me to listen for “top tracks” which is mostly looks like “most popular within deezer users for the last <specific period of time>”. I pretty sure the songs from that list are not the best and not most popular for the all the time. Last week or month? last year? Who knows! Deezer even doesn’t offer me to choose the period!Last.fm offers to choose the periods - this is really useful.Spotify just shows the most popular for all the time.Deezer offers…. something odd.Just one sample from my recent exploration. Deep Forest band from France (like Deezer). Just compare the results and see that it’s something wrong with Deezer’s Top Tracks algorithms.Last.fm:Spotify:Deezer: Last.fm and Spotify shows very close results, Deezer shows just last release songs: I’m pretty sure these are not top tracks for 30 years of Deep forest history ))) and not the most popular for 15+ years of Deezer history :)

More control over what notifications you getNew

I’m sure the majority of Deezer users use the service by adding individual tracks to playlists or whatever, but as someone who pretty much exclusively listens to albums I feel like the notifications bell is almost entirely useless - I might get 20 notifications for singles in a row but not be notified when a band I like releases a new album. My idea being able to set a few simple parameters to make sure the notifications tab notifies me about the things I actually want to hear about!

Hi and thanks for the nice app and forum.I know there might be other posts regarding this issue, I still created a new one so that maybe my experience helps or bring the matter to the attention again.I excluded Android since imho, the experience on it is “not as good as it is on IPhone and web version”. I’ve been using Spotify for ~3-4 years and also have been using Youtube Music for ~6 months and now have been trying Deezer for a few months. One thing that has been bothering me is that everytime I want to play a list, I have to exclusively open the app an press the shuffle button. This has gone to the extend that I sometimes have to temporarily park the car so that I can open the app and press shuffle since I don’t have android auto, however I didn’t have this particular problem with Spotify and Youtube Music. Or at least I wish there was an option for it. Although the big button in each play list is a shuffle button, it seems it hasn’t been consistent for me at least. While the design of the app and notification bar on IPhone is really visually pleasing, it doesn’t help that there is no shuffle button on the notification bar unlike Spotify. I’m really trying to get along with Deezer but there are clearly somethings that are trying to make it hard.😅 But it’s fine, small tiny steps. Also I’m newbie, please don’t be harsh on me if I’ve done something wrong. I tried to look at the settings thoroughly before posting this.

10k limits increase for personal playlists on DeezerNot for now

Now that Deezer has announced that the favorites playlist 2k limit cap is being raised to 10'000 tracks, I don't understand why user created playlists aren't included in this effort.Why am I not allowed to add up to 10'000 tracks for into my own playlists? Deezer please get your censored together, as this makes no sense. I'm grateful that it's now possible to add 10'000 tracks as favorites, but I want same approach for my own playlists. Here are the main features envisioned: 1. Organization by sub-categories:Allow users to structure their playlists with themed song groups (by music genre, mood, decade, etc.), displayed as collapsible sections.
