I’d like to share a small feature idea regarding artist profiles.

Right now, the Popular tracks section seems to reflect what is popular at the moment. When an artist releases a new album, most tracks from that release quickly fill this section because listeners naturally start streaming the new material.

The downside is that it becomes harder for listeners — especially new ones — to discover an artist’s actual signature hits. The section stops representing long-term popularity and instead mirrors short-term listening trends.

As far as I understand, the “100%” playlists may follow a similar logic.

It would be great if Popular tracks were based more on established popularity — combining long-term streams, listener retention, and historical impact — rather than recent release momentum alone.

This would make artist pages much more useful for discovery and help listeners quickly understand what truly defines an artist’s catalog.
