I'm tired of this track (for a limited period of time)

Pandora has an excellent feature that let’s you say I’m tired of this track, which means it won’t be played on any recommended channel for a month.

Something similar would be beneficial here as flow often defaults to a favorite track after disliking a song, which increases the repetition.

TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS IDEA.

SO TIRED TO GET THE SAME TRACKS EVERYTIME WITH THE RANDOM OR FLOW.

PLEASE CHANGE YOUR ALGORITHM OR ADD THIS FUNCTION...

Relatively recent convert over from Pandora and want to bump this one. I tend to over saturate my favorites and then don’t want to hear them for months (or...at least one month, which I think is how long Pandora’s option goes to), but I’d still like to hear similar/new music along the same preferences.

For what it’s worth, if you use Last.fm, I have a python script that takes all your favourite tracks and makes a new playlist with only songs that you haven’t heard in x weeks. It’s surprising how small the list is if you listen to music a lot!

It’s a bit of a messy script, but I could try to clean it up if anyone’s interested.
