Over time a lot of albums get taken down from Deezer, but are often replaced by the same album - maybe they’re adding a bonus track, or maybe they’re switching label or distributer. Whatever the reason, in cases where this happens it would be good for the favourite to either be automatically updated to the new version of the record or at the very least give the user the ability to manually update the favourite with the newer version.

With the current functionality, I have to scroll down in my favourites, unfavourite the missing records, then go to the artists page to re-favourite each record. That means my recent favourites are often full of older records that I sometimes listen to rather than my recent discoveries, and it’s quite labour intensive because the position in favourite albums isn’t saved when you navigate away, so either you have to keep notes on which records are missing to re-add later or you have to keep scrolling down to find them. It’s just an awkward user experience.

This is what so much of my album favourites looks like. Many of these missing records are still available
