Remote control music on another device / Device discovery | Deezer Community, bringing music lovers together

Hi, I would like to see a feature added on Deezer’s listening possibilities. It’s simple, I want to pick a song (On Deezer) on my smartphone to let it play on my Macbook (through the Deezer app) or any other device I might want to use.

Simply said I would like to be able to choose on which device the songs are played.

This is just that more user friendly and it gives the possibilities to choose songs on distance.

I would also like to see such a feature - to play songs over my Wifi Loudspeekers.

"Spotify Connect" provides such a feature for Sonos and Denon HEOS Loudspeekers.

It would be great, if thus one could always use the Deezer App and User Interface (with one's favorite playlists and search features etc. at hand and not needing HEOS' own app, which is not very userfriendly and lacks many features Deezer has).

It would help Deezer customers to enjoy Deezer on their HiFi to the full and allow Deezer to provide its service quality independent of poorly featured loudspeeker apps.

Boring to wait. I try Spotify for one month and i need this feature, i use my phone like a remote controller all the day. Sometimes on my TV sometimes on my PC. I try Spotify a month again and perhaps i will change.

I'm on the verge of coming over from Spotify with the enhanced playback quality but disappointed Deezer can't control playback on my pc app from my phone. Fix this, and I'm in.

Considering that Deezer HiFi works on SONOS speakers, the next step should be direct control through the Deezer app in the same way as the popular music service from Sweden does it. I hope you can deal this with SONOS.

Please add this feature. We have been waiting for such a long time. If this feature is not added soon, I will have to switch to other streaming services.

Please consider allowing one Deezer client to control another. Rdio had this feature. I could have the web client playing on my PC connected to the HIFI. Then I could open the app on my phone. At this point I would be asked whether to "play on this device instead". If no, I could control the PC from the phone. Worked better than Chromecast.

This is now the 6th most voted for feature. Are these suggestions really being looked at by developers? Are there really developers at Deezer?

I think there's a conspiracy going on here... We're being duped. Conned. Conflobulated. These "suggestions" feel like a black hole. Nothing on here get's implemented. It's like a great void where user wishes go to die.

I'm sorry you feel this way. But that isn't factual, our most voted ideas always get seen by our Product Managers, for example. Then they discuss what can be done in the current year, how many resources are needed to develop and all sorts of planning any other tech company has in order to implement new features. Due to our size, it isn't possible to deliver everything in a short period of time, but essentially all users suggestions find their way through. Look at Dark Mode for example 😉

PS Can't wait for Dark Mode, I'm like a (proverbial) kid waiting to go on a roller-coaster peeing myself before I even get the ticket.

Please develop the functionality of remote control.

Dear Zobie, I miss a lot Rdio. The best music streaming service ever. We could even start a download to the mobile from the computer. It was great. Deezer should be inspired in Rdio features.

Hi @Riza Fahmi while we do understand that this is a popular feature that many users would like to see and we appreciate the feedback we do no tolerate abusive language on the forum. I am not able to explain why it takes so long, but we do forward all helpful feedback.

Было бы просто замечательно, если бы приложение на компьютере синхронизировалось с приложением на телефоне, и телефон можно было бы использовать как пульт управления, но через интернет сеть, а не блу-туз... Переключать песни, регулировать громкость, выбирать плейлисты... Очень нехватает такого, особенно живя в частном доме, что бы не бегать постоянно к компьютеру или сидя на участке... Только желательно это сделать для конкретного пользователя (я имею ввиду семейную подписку).
