I came from Spotify that already has this feature for a long time, and I miss it.

I like to control the music of the pc using my cell phone, and it would be great if Deezer had this option.

thanks.
Hey @Satver

Thank you for your input and feedback. I'm sorry my reply is in English - we don't support Russian at the moment. I've moved your comment here so that you can support an existing idea 😉
Come on devs - please! My computer has a good sound system. My phone does not! I want to sit in bed and use my phone to control my computer's playing. Please at least confirm this is definitely on the top few wanted items that are being worked on.
It sure is @cowudders14. It's part of a big project which includes making our queue lists Cloud based. Stay tuned for further updates 😉
Here's another upvote for you guys.

Use case:

I have a Nvidia Shield connected to my TV and audio system. The Shield device is my mediaplyer with all the apps like Netflix, Prime, Youtube and Deezer.

To just play songs from Deezer I don't need the TV obviously, but I do need it for visual control. It feels like overkill to have the TV on all day just to play Deezer. So to control Deezer through my phone would be brilliant.

Keep up the good work! 👍🏻
Thanks for the feedback again @elstupid this is actually one of the features we're looking to get off the ground next. Once I hear more about it, I'll share it here.
Just an idea you should conect Deezer pc with Deezer from your celphone so you can change your song or whatever
Hi there @Juan Sebastian Romero Espinel

That's a good idea and we're working on it, so thank you for your contribution 😉
i suggest you make a new feature in the app that you can play music on other devices for example i'm playing music on Desktop app and want to change the song from my mobile app while still playing on the desktop app.. i suppose making the apps more linked together
Hi there @Marwan.Tohamy

Thanks for your input. I've moved your comment here so that you can support an existing idea. We've been working on this feature for quite sometime, and it involves some big background changes. So we're on the right path 👍🏼
I keep seeing "add the ability to control media on other devices", but that's not the only missing feature along those lines.

While, controlling music is great, I'd prefer the Now Playing and Queue to sync across the devices as well.

When I get out of my car, using Android auto, I'd like to be able to "cast" the playing queue to my Google home group so that when I walk in the door, the music is already playing from where I left off.

Then, I get to my home office and turn on my PC. Deezer app opens, and then just click play there and all music stops elsewhere, but continues where it left off on the PC. This should all happen seamlessly, right from within the app allowing me to select WHERE i want the music to be playing.
Guys it's been a year since this was posted. This isn't ground breaking stuff, you came into this market when this was already available with the market leader and original service, Spotify. What's keeping you from keeping up? Whatever it is, it's keeping a lot of people from signing up, and it's moving a lot of people back to Spotify.
Hi there @dlchamp @htkblazer

As you can see above, we're already working on developing this feature. Please bear with us a bit longer 😉
Ah, so that's what "discussion ongoing" means?

Good to hear, I'm now one step further away from Spotify.

Don't let development of this hold back development of the MS paint designed Now Playing screen - THAT needs overhauled first, with a search bar, home button, artist and album direct links, and a big ol' accessible options button rather than three microscopic little dots that I need to stop what I'm doing, zoom in, and attach a precision scope and laser pointer to my pinky finger to use. THAT is fundamental and needs fixed first. It's on the ideas page.
Yes, it means that our product teams are aware users posted the idea and may have been discussing implementation. Thank you for your remaining UI feedback @htkblazer
This would be *specially usefully* when using Deezer from a dedicated HI-FI stereo system like ONKYO's where it's really difficult to find your music or search for new records in the system's tiny screen and you don't want to put a big old TV on top of your stereo.

Hey Rudi, with Spotify devs sniffing glue lately and killing their android app, it seems the time to strike is now. Like a lot of people, my music subscription is tied to my mobile contract and its about to expire. Unfortunately, missing features like this are keeping me from switching - do you have any timescales for this yet? If its gonna be another year I'll probably limp on with Spotify for another two years.

Not sure why the position on this has changed from :

20 days ago "As you can see above, we're already working on developing this feature. Please bear with us a bit longer"

Hi there @wozere @htkblazer

Thank you for your input. We haven't changed our position on this. We're working on it, developing it as we speak. It's a tricky one, hence why we haven't got any timescales yet. But as you know, making our queue lists cloud based was the initial phase for this feature to also happen. It's basically being worked on by roughly the same team. We need a bit more patience from you all, and I'll be here to give the updates once we've got them 👍🏼
No worries Rudi. I'm no developer, but I'm I do imagine that this WILL be quite a "tricky" "feature". As far as I can see it, calling this a "feature" is pretty crude, as it seems to actually revolve around how the whole thing is set up and will require a lot of work to change it. Patience provided.

Please don't let this get in the way of the very simple UI tweaks that are desperately needed though; home button and/or search function on Now Playing screen!

Thanks for your own continued patience and keeping everybody regularly (and painstakingly) informed, it's very much appreciated and goes a lot further towards Deezer than you probably know.
Thank you for your honesty @htkblazer it's really rewarding we've got the back of users like you to help our platform to improve.
So when will Deezer have an equivalent to Spotify Connect?
Please see above @bdconnolly 👍🏼

I love deezer, but the lack of a funcionality that let me control the music playing on my android tv with my phone it’s one of the things that make me want to go back to spotify.

We appreciate your honest feedback @Estéfano Vechietti. We're working on the feature to discover more devices around so that stream is possible. We hope to have more updates before the end of this year, so I thank you for your patience and support :pray_tone2:
