I came from Spotify that already has this feature for a long time, and I miss it.

I like to control the music of the pc using my cell phone, and it would be great if Deezer had this option.

thanks.

Hi Deezer fans,

Thank you for your utmost patience. We’ve decided to put a hold on developing this feature for now, in light of the technical challenges we’ve been facing - but we’ll, of course, let you know if we have any updates on this.

That's a pity. Don't like to switch to Spotify or Amazon but I'm missing this feature very much 😔

Deezer on phone and tv, can play it on both BUT cannot stream from phone to tv? I can't see any option to do so. Online chat said icon to stream appears top right, it does not. Tried everything I can think of! Help please!

Jennifer

Hello @Jennifer Swanson there must have been a misunderstanding - it is not possible to remote control Deezer on your TV using your phone. We are sorry about that.

:race_car::vertical_traffic_light: waiting for the green light . You, Deezer team,  promised innovation this year ! ;)

It's been a long time and you still can't add this very desirable function.  Wait until everyone say goodbye to you, I did it today.  Goodbye Deezer.

If you do do it, please allow an option to disable the function.   I have an Android car stereo, and if I have a phone with Spotify installed in the car with me, it will often either change sources without my permission, or prompt me to use my phone as a remote control. I don’t NEED a remote control for the Spotify that is installed on my Android car stereo receiver.  I don’t NEED another source to control the Spotify that is installed on my Roku box.      I would hate to see Deezer implement it, without the option to completely disable it.

Hi,

I have a Sonos speaker and I don’t really like using the sonos app to navigate inside my Deezer profile. It would be great to have an option in the Deezer mobile app so you can connect directly to any wireless speaker and stream directly the music to it.

Spotify has this functionnality for a while now.

Thanks

Hi there @sgtm7 @walker @Johannv

Thank you very much for your support and feedback :thumbsup_tone2:

Sorry to see you go @Sonda it's a pity we're unable to give you a feature of that importance at this moment in time. Keep an eye on this topic and hopefully we can sway you back in the future!

Two years since the first call…   :birthday:

No action until now. Come on… your users as @Sonda are leaving the platform.

Thank you for reminding us @Luis Fernando Marques. We've done quite a lot in these 2 years as well.

But we'll continue to invest in this idea, thank you for your patience and support :pray_tone2:

Last year was incredible! Hifi + dark mode + Waze + new UI design .
And this year we have normalize volume, and? perhaps HiFi family plan, couple plan for mp3 and HiFi, shorter plans, video, 2001 favorite songs hehe :smirk:

Hello @oleg73 please use your Deezer email address and your Deezer password to login on your TV using your TV remote control. For all other further information please read this thread. Thank you

Hi. Not sure if you understand the meaning of my post. Perhaps the reason is that I posted it in an inappropriate topic. My post about the fact that entering a password on the TV remote is not convenient. And demanding this in 2020 is strange. Registering through the application on your phone or browser (with or without a PIN code) (like with other services, including YouTube TV) is much more optimal.

Hi @oleg73

Thank you for your feedback and for clarifying things to us. I'll be passing your comments to the right team here at Deezer :thumbsup_tone2:

It’s time to move on with “Deezer connect”. Please add soon this feature.

Don't forget to vote, @Giulio Terracciano if you haven't done so   thank you for your support!

in beta you have already that all devices stop add the same song only what i missing is control your pc with your smartwatch I think when you can control your pc with mobile you can also with your wear os smartwatch?

Inside this topic, I have an idea: for example, I’m playing Deezer at my DAP, but also have opened web version. Because is easier to add a song thanks to bigger screen of PC.

Would be great to see ,at the time bar ,a moving point with a label that indicates which device is playing. It can have , also , the shape of device: a pc, android device, tablet…
We could know how many time left in first device to end that song

And if you press play button, Deezer can ask you in which device you wanna play

Hi there @Artoon and @walker

Thank you for your suggestions, those are really good. Once our devs look at this post to discuss the feature, they'll be able to analyse your needs and how you prefer the experience

I just came from Spotify to get hifi from Deezer. But there is no connect function on Deezer - i can‘t understand why? Perheps this will be a kind of a battle: Spotify becomes hifi or Deezer the connect function… 😉

My boyfriend won’t cancel his subscription to Spotify because he can’t control the Deezer app on the tv with his phone.

I’m French and trying to favour French businesses, but this is making it complicated.

Hi there @cloy3 @f_oste

Thank you very much for your honest feedback. We understand the frustration around this but your feedback is the tool the community has to push through with this idea. I'll be passing your comments on :thumbsup_tone2:

I would appreciate the functionality as well, but should you implement it please (!!!!) don’t do this the way Spotify did, ie. one cannot opt out. It was the reason why I left Spotify. Please consider adding it but don’t force people to use it.

Feedback noted @Maciej Molerus :v_tone2:

would be nice to choose a sonos speaker directly from the deezer app.

Don't like the sonos app that much

thanks.
