I like to control the music of the pc using my cell phone, and it would be great if Deezer had this option.
thanks.
Hey folks!
Great news! We finally launched it!
Please have a look on our new feature “Deezer Connect”! Where you can control your devices from your phone IOS or Android.
What will be the first song you will connect to another device? 📱🕺🏼💻

I have a Pioneer X-HM86D which has built in Deezer functionality which works very well, yet I still can’t get the same functionality as I can with Spotify Connect (i.e. hand over sound to the Pioneer). The newly launched “Deezer Connect” is a terrible misnomer, and offers me no new useful features at all. How hard can it be to emulate Spotify Connect (which is the perfect solution)??
Please sort this out!

What I envisioned is roughly a situation like the one described below.1 telephone with deezer is connected to a hifi system. On this list you play such a mixer list. Instead of having to go to this phone to change songs, for example. Should others be able to add and or change to play a song from this joint mix using their own telephone. But that this function must be able to be activated from the telephone that is playing. There you should be able to have a function, just add songs and not be able to start playing directly, but also add to start directly. Will be like it is with YouTube today. Where several people can connect to YouTube via their own phone and to a common TV connected to wifi. There you can add to a queue, or start playing directly.

This forum is a total waste of time. People submit ideas - some of them literally years old - and get no feedback whatsover from anyone at Deezer.
It’s a simple question - is this idea ever going to get implemented?

Hi
Unfortunately, it will not be implemented, at least not for now.
If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to let me know.

OK - That’s clear.
I guess this idea should not be marked “live” then.
I feel you’re going to lose a lot of subscribers now that you’ve confirmed that you’re not interested to improve the service ikn this way.

Hi
The main issue is that Deezer connect is so buggy that it’s almost impossible to use it. The only way it works 100% correct is that you first start playback on the host machine and then you can pause/play again it from the client. Any more complex manipulations just give no result most of the times (like you for example select some other album/band, start playing and just realize that Deezer plays the same playlist there was before - so yeah, you can stop it but have no control on what exactly is being played). One of the most expected features (well, after HQ maybe) has turned into unusable absolute disappointment.

Deezer Device Discovery should cover devices like Sonos and hi-fi music streamers like Cambridge Audio CXN. Sonos latest native app is a disgrace, and using AirPlay for Deezer doesn’t allow me to set music for my family and go watch YouTube.

Considering, that I have to stop listening to music on my smartphone, because I log in the app - a real connection between computer and smartphone would help.
(Yes, I use the computer-app to create my playlists).
