Deezer hifi is not of much value unless you specifically own an Sonos system or play on computer app. The developers need to get it on iPhone and android apps - would obviously expand the listening possibilities and give Tidal some competition - tidal is good service but the Deezer app is far better. Also. I have my Deezer account Set up on my bose sound touch systems. Would be perfect if it supported the hifi option on these
Has Deezer made any progress on releasing API for use by Logitech team, Audiravana, Aurender, Lumin, or any of the other streaming devices?

API's release https://developers.deezer.com/ does not support Hi-Fi.
Question: when they released the HiFi version for Android and IOS devices ?, Tidal launched their application for HiFi mobile devices 3 years ago ... I hired the service to replace it, but they still do not have the service for mobile devices.

any date suggest?!

Best Regards
This is the only trigger to make me swtich back and forth between Deezer and Tidal. If you make it, you nailed it. At least for me. Tidal playlist just not really suit my style but got hifi from mobile device. Deezer got flow and much broad mixes of list but only 320kbps on mobile device. I wish i couldnt the difference but we do. Or maybe it just feeling of highest quality possible for what you paid for.
I won't renew my Hi-Fi subscription as well. Sorry Deezer...The lossless quality should've been provided a long time ago on the mobile devices

Best regards
Add hifi and mqa or I'm moving to tidal. We pay for Hifi we want Hifi and now it's possible with many android phones.
New Beta tester an new to this forum. Most intresting thread. Voted.

Am I a person interested in Music-quality?

Have built several Homespeakers during the years.

Have built car audio both for competition and privatepersons, and even carstereo for hi-end listening.

Have built a discotec in an 18 meter long articulated bus.

Have a 15inch subwoofer in a 300 liter space in the roof between first and second floor in my house.

Music quality IS important. Having Deezer Hifi at the moment, had both premium and free earlier. Deezer Free has, in my opinion, better soundquality than Payed version of spotify.

Why not Hifi on the celluar Phone Deezer? It is not a problem. People want it. and those not wanting Hifi, is already your or yours competitors customers.

Having Tidal and Deezer and spotify in my phones, Right now. to compare.

Having 4 androidmobiles, all of them capable of handling Hifi. LG g7ThinQ, Lg G5 with BangOlufsen hifiplus module.

Have Sandisc 128Gb in one, 64gb the other, both of them 275mb/s.

Have unlimited data plan both in the phones and on wifi.

My Sony earbuds is threewayspeakers configuration, costs as much as a celluarphone cost...

------ If only Deezer could fix it. Now. Mobile HiFi NOW.-----

Pros, Cons and Cure.

Pros. Every aspect of music listening. only pros. all situations.

Cons. - $$$ -. You pay for data. Hifi needs more data.

Cure. download during wifi situations, listen offline. Or get unlimited data plan.

Cons. takes up space in phones memory.

Cure. Sd card. Chose phone with large memory when you buy a new one.

Cons. other technic in writing the app.

Cure.. make a separate app just for Deezer Mobile Hifi!!!

Cons. Need for downloadspeed?

Cure. 4g and soon 5g. or wifi.

Any other cons???
Deezer is on android media boxes, but it's not in Hifi.

I would like Hifi on my Nvidea shield
Hi there, thanks for your feedback. We are always trying to offer Hifi on more and more devices, hopefully you can soon have this on Nvidea Shield as well 😉
Has Deezer made any progress on making HiFi available on all the devices? Can Deezer share the priority on the devices that you are adding support on and tentative timelines by quarter / year, so you customers can make an informed decision.

Thank You
I started a trial with Tidal, Qobuz, and Deezer. Deezer seems to have better features overall, including lyrics, but the inability to stream HiFi on the mobile apps is laughable. I have unlimited LTE data and I'd like to stream HiFi on my premium sound system in my Tesla. If this necessary feature isn't added soon, I'll definitely be switching to Tidal or Qobuz (probably Tidal).
Can someone from Deezer update us on the status of this feature request?

Without HiFi streaming on mobile, the HiFi subscription is mostly useless. Deezer's competitors have this feature and without it, Deezer will be losing subscribers to its competitors and not gaining potential new subscribers like me. I'll be canceling my Deezer and Qobuz trials and becoming a paid subscriber for Tidal.
Why would you support desktop before mobile! Support hiFi on mobile apps, at $14.99/month, and you'll wipe out Tidal. Tidal has smaller catalog and their mobile app is not as intuitive.
@Rocklobsta

Like that feedback, bud. Will definitely pass it on!

Good luck in getting Deezer to do anything about it, which is unfortunate. I like Deezer a lot but I will not be renewing my subscription which is coming up for renewal. The limit on the devices that HiFi is available is no longer acceptable. There are plenty of audio vendors that would like to add support for Deezer in their software playback system for home use but the published API does not have any support for HiFi.
Success of any app would be its ability to integrate with a variety operating systems, platforms and devices.

I searched alot to locate any chat that shows Deezer is working towards this goal.

Since i have already selected the kind of platform and device i want to use, the next step would be to find an app that works well with it.

Given how much it depends on availability of info on how to stream on your device of choice, i would expect that Deezer makes a concerted effort in making this info readily available, but to my disappointment, after spending 30 mins on the excercise I remain unclear.

Hope before I switch completely, Deezer is able to provide the required info.

  1. I use a Marshall Woburn Multi Room WiFi Speaker
  2. Preferably on iOS devices
  3. It uses built in Google Chromecast when I choose it, a message pops up that is a Deezer "Premium" feature. This should be openly disclosed to all App users.
  4. If I subscribe to "Hi Fi" will I be able to stream it to my speaker in that quality.

Hi there @Adnan Rana

Thank you for your feedback - it's nicely detail. I've moved it here so that you can keep updated with all the news surrounding HiFi across different devices - you may have found it hard to get the message from us, but we're constantly thinking about compatibility and new/existing platforms.

I'll pass your message on as well. Please don't forget to vote if you haven't already 😉
When can I use Dezer HiFi on my mobile?

Never

Hi there @Anon

No specific plans for LG devices. But we're looking at this overall, so thank you for the feedback - I'll pass it on to the relevant team here.

Hi Rudi

Thanks for the prompt response! Given that you guys are, as you say, 'looking at this overall', please can Deezer offer a more expansive/substantive update as to what progress looks like for you in respect of that?

Is there a road map? A timeline? Are you aligning to Android version updates for roll outs or will you just release FLAC compatability as and when this is possible? Are you aiming for this year or +2020?

I've been using FLACs since 2013, on HTC One M7, with the music player Neutron. It's 2019.. What are the major sets backs that are hindering this deployment? I mean.. It's an app just like Neutron... I'm on a wired connection via classic 3.5mm jack, it's not like I'm even streaming most tracks because I download my playlists... What am I missing?

I'm not frustrated or anything, but if you can't provide any sort of clarity I'll probably just end my HiFi subscription for now, until you can provide a truly HiFi service - and rather spend the £240 a year on audio equipment. I've already got a large SD card installed with a selection of a few thousand FLACs, so transitioning is a matter of seconds, but I do enjoy building playlists on Deezer, and if you're making realistic progress I'd happily continue building them in anticipation for the update.

It's probably a 60/40 split between my phone/pc for music streaming, so obviously this is kind of a big deal when at least half the time I can't even get what I'm paying for. I trust you can appreciate that and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way...

I look forward to your response!
Well, having just spent over an hour reading this thread, it's clear you have no real interest in supporting your HiFi community, and choose to string everyone along with stupid comments like 'passed to Devs' and 'keep voting'. It doesn't take votes for anyone with a brain in 2019 to know that the HiFi market has been growing exponentially since at least 2015, so if you're in the music streaming business today and don't know that then you must be retarded.

The fact you constantly say you pass feedback and are in talks but never have information for your subscribers is highly suspicious. It's impossible to not have any information to share whatsoever when, over the period of the thread, you've released updates for various HiFi systems as well as Windows Desktop HiFi - why couldn't you tell your customers these were the projects you were focused on? Probably because you knew people would unsubscribe the moment you made clear you had not real desire to release a HiFi version for mobile. But now it's clear for all to see... You have little interest in customer satisfaction. Good luck to you and your callous concern for your HiFi subscribers, I will not renew my HiFi account with you and will instead switch to Tidal as soon as I have time.

A simple update with a realistic timeline would probably have made everyone happy. Think about that.

I'm in the same situation. I've been using Deezer for many years on desktop app, but now I want to completely switch to a portable setup. Fiio DAP, good IEMs and nothing else. And I'm frustrated that I still can't get HiFi quality from Deezer on Android device.. While Tidal streams CD quality and even MQA. I guess I'll switch to Tidal if Deezer won't give me HiFi streaming - it's 2019 guys, wake up!

Signal goes from Earth to Mars just 13 minutes.

Our feedbacks go to Deezer for years... 🤣

Yeah let's see what reply we get here, that's the real proof. Deezer community reps always quick to reply to everyone with their placating 'keep voting' replies... Let's see if they respond to REAL COMMENTS, with a REAL RESPONSE. if they ignore these posts... Then we know... And it's there for all to see... They DGAF. Time will tell.
So heard back from the developer support email address and the published API does not have any support for Hi-Fi.

If anyone in Deezer world is listening to customer input here is how Deezer should be handling the API situation by publishing it the way Qobuz has done for anyone to use - https://github.com/Qobuz/api-documentation#hi-res-in-api
If only it could work on the devices it is supposed to work on...like chromecast.

For months and months it is sold but does not work

Hundreds of people complaining on this forum for instance and the solution by deezer is...to remove the threads talking about it. Totally dishonest. How can it be?!
Hello,

I have subscribed to Deezer since the beginning (before it went to family accounts) December 2015. I asked to add one profile as a Hi-Fi account to be told I have to take out another account. It would be nice to understand if Deezer has any intentions in this regard.

I like the thoughts of "Anonymous"

How do I vote for this
