Deezer hifi is not of much value unless you specifically own an Sonos system or play on computer app. The developers need to get it on iPhone and android apps - would obviously expand the listening possibilities and give Tidal some competition - tidal is good service but the Deezer app is far better. Also. I have my Deezer account Set up on my bose sound touch systems. Would be perfect if it supported the hifi option on these
I just upgraded my account to HiFi and realized I can't even test the music quality. On my PC I'm using Linux and there is no application with HiFi support.

Application on my LG V30 is not able to play HiFi as well...
I would like to ask about plans to enable HiFi on TV LG WebOS 4.0 and amp DENON HEOS (e.g AVR-X3400H).
How long do we have to wait for this?
Can you please make it clear on the subscription page that lossless is not available on mobile devices. It’s not that obvious and kinda misleading. Plenty of people are paying for lossless subscription thinking that’s what they’re listening to.
Deezer app allow us to choose between low / standard / HD audio quality.

This was ok until now, and it still is with a regular account, but with HiFi accounts there is a huge gap in data size between HD mp3 and FLAC.

On a regular connection you would obviously want the best quality, but on mobile, it would be nice to be also able to choose between those 2 "high qualities", so we could still have a high quality without completely destroying our data pool.

Edit : just saw a post saying said quality was not available for android apps Is this still the case ? I'm often using the app when running, so with bad headphones I can't really tell the difference.
Hello, why I can not to pay elite flac sound in your android app? My device ibasso dx 200 work in custom Lurker00 firmware and unlocked usb audio (DAC) mode, whitout permanent plug in device to PC and official playstore... Why I can not playback flac quality sound? and only one choice to order premium+? Thanks
Hi @Mário Samek, we are not available in phones yet, please see above. Also, you can get some more info about our HiFi subscription here. Let me know if you have any more question! 😉

i know this topic has been asked about many, many times, but I wanted to create a little bit more noise on the subject. I switched from Tidal to Deezer for many reasons, but the loss of mobile HiFi is a sacrifice I’m struggling with. I have both highend speakers and highend headphones, but with two young children in the house I rarely get to sit down and listen to music on speakers anymore. Headphones are my only opportunity as of late, and like most of the people on this forum I thrive on the subtlety that lossless audio provides. Although iPhone is not the most ideal place to experience hi-fi audio, the benefits are still there. If the barrier to entry was FLAC support, I recently read that iOS 11 changed that. So, developers, I hope this is the green light we’ve been waiting for.

I’ve downgraded to premium+, but soon will switch to Tidal if I feel like this won’t happen. Hell - with 320kbps I think Spotify has some great playlists and features. But I cannot justify paying HiFi prices for an mp3 experience.
Hi, I would like to ask when will we star using Deezer high-res on Android ? Thanks
Hi @Ejder, do you mean Flac quality? We are already High Quality, but no dates yet for the lossless quality yet 🙂 Please see this topic and we will update everyone as soon as we have any more news 😉
I would love to work with Deezer to make HIFI work on our Systemline 7 system, we use Logitech Media Server running on our hardware. Many of our customers would pay for Deezer HIFI if it could be used, sadly we have to recommend Qobuz which does play HIFI FLAC Lossless on our systems.
Hi @MusicFeed sorry for the very late reply. We do not offer Hifi on any mobile device at the moment, that is true and that is I have merged your idea with this one. Please vote on top 😉
Tidal and Qobuz support hifi quality on iOS for quitte a while, so it is possible for Deezer to do the same, right? If Flac support is the issue, your dev team should build their own Flac-decoder and have it built into your mobile apps. Please don’t keep us waiting for much longer. We need hifi support for Deezer on every device. Thank you for listening.
Hi, I own a Sony SRS X99 speaker which features Chromecast built in. Will it work Deezer Hi-Fi with it?

Why isn't it available in the smartphone app?
Hi @Pablo.Pombo, at the moment HiFi is only available in some speakers and desktop computer. Please see and vote for this topic. We are passed this feedback on to our devs already. 😉
Hi @Luke.A sorry for my late reply. I have moved your topic to this one as it already existed. In order to keep track of all your great suggestions we merge topics that have the same content.

We are looking into adopting Hifi on mobile devices, hopefully it will be reality soon 😉
I have a HI Fi account with you but I have an iPhone . I just learned that it makes no sense having this plan as iPhone won’t play FLAC files. Can you please confirms and let me know what my options are ?
Hi ,

I recently I stared your Hi Fi plan. Today I learned that iPhones cannot use FLAC files . I have a feeling I am waistline my money and perhaps a family subscription will better suit my needs .

Can you please let me know ?

Regards

Hi @Eranpi, at the moment you can only have access to the flac quality using our desktop app and these sound systems. Please follow and vote for this idea above, we will keep our community updated! 😉

Rafael, it seems to me that this thread is absolutely useless.. You are just telling averybody "Please follow and vote for this idea above", and nothing happens...

How many votes do you need to say - "Ok, we are implementing it, wait for 2 (3, 4, x) monthes please" ?

We have been passing all ideas to our devs and the ones that are on discussions are marked on the top of the topic. This idea is on discussion at the moment, but we don't have any ETA yet. We will update this topic as soon as we have any news.

These ideas and votes are very important for Deezer and we will keep updating this community with our Your Idea Reviews posts
New user who recently signed up for Deezer HiFi, hoping to leverage Logitech Media Server setup but it is not supported and all the investigation that I have done so far seems to indicate that companies that have HiFi support are using different API than the ones published on https://developer.deezer.com website. There is already a plugin under LMS that has all the feature functionality minus the HiFi support. The person who wrote the plugin leveraged the API published on Deezer's developers site, but those API do not support HiFi.

Deezer, please publish the API that grant more developers the ability to leverage HiFi streams. I would love to see HiFi support under iOS/Android mobile devices, streaming server companies (Aurender, Lumin, Auralic, etc) and software companies like Audirvana, BubbleUPnP, MConnect etc.

Thank You
Hi, if I have true informations, Deezer's flac music is not working on smartphones at this moment, am I right? So what about other apps like Tidal or Spotify? Is it working it's HI-FI on android smartphones or not? I hope Deezer will bring us this feature soon.
The newer iPhones (7 and newer) have native support for FLAC as of iOS 11.

For now, I am stuck with Tidal if I want lossless.
