Deezer hifi is not of much value unless you specifically own an Sonos system or play on computer app. The developers need to get it on iPhone and android apps - would obviously expand the listening possibilities and give Tidal some competition - tidal is good service but the Deezer app is far better. Also. I have my Deezer account Set up on my bose sound touch systems. Would be perfect if it supported the hifi option on these
Firstly - dark mode ! Finally, thanks. However, hi-fi on mobile is an absolute must !! The headphone market is exploding right now too, so I would capitalize on that.
Hey @WaterMane @Mr.Popo

Good points mentioned, thank you very much. Will definitely pass on the feedback, keep on voting!
Still nothing? I'm tired of waiting so I'm going back to Tidal, sorry.
Come on guys, Deezer won't implement this... For 1-2 developers it should be ~ 1h of work - if they are lazy and doing other stuff at that time, too.

They already have the whole service with all the infrastructure behind this. Every garbage music player app from our App Stores brings FLAC support or the phones are directly supporting it.

I own a pair of Shure's SE535 for ~ 370 € and I do own a portable DAC. HiFi would be a no brainer for me.

Even if you don't know how to use "HiFi" properly, Deezer would have your money for this.

That's the reason why I don't really know why even this poll exists. It should be a no brainer for Deezer, too. Just ensure, that your CDN is set up properly and do you financial math work, so you won't be surprised if your CDN provider wants some more dollars/euros.
Interesting Reddit thread, also click on the mobile screenshot links.

got the beta app and this option is not available. I do hope this is valid though, missing out on HiFi is the only reason I’m looking for alternatives... well that and the lack of a family HiFi option 🙂
Deezer might be rolling out a test version to a few users only like someone wrote in the Reddit thread.
Yes,We need hifi songs on mobile phone (android and ios) and to be able to listen to hifi in offline.
If i go to custom audio settings, it says High Quality, is that Hi-Fi? Because the other 2 options are Basic, must be 128kbps, Standard 320kbps and High Quality 1411kbps?
Nope, HiFi is High Fidelity, see this screenshot from the Reddit thread. If you scroll down, you can see four options, Basic being 64kbps AAC+ probably, only used for mobile devices, but I'm only guessing here.
Any official word on this? Are we finally close to getting to enjoy HiFi in our headphones through the phone?

Not in Sweden 😞
Hey there @Claus.Juergen.Walde

We're sorry that's the case. We haven't stopped working on improving the HiFi experience, but it was initially designed for HQ speakers which offer the feature as well. I'll be passing your feedback on, thank you for your support.

Can you explain then why HIFI on HEOS is still not available. With the release of Amazon HD you've just been outclassed by amazon in the Marantz/Denon market. Ending my deezer subscription after this month, deezer had enough time to catch up.

Yup and fully available on HEOS and mobile devices
Two things it does not have is internal Last.fm scrobbling and HD quality on their web player app according to user reports, so it's somehow the same dilemma as with Deezer and Last.fm desktop users like me: either you use their desktop or mobile apps for HD, or you scrobble with their web player via browser extension Web Scrobbler, but not in HD. 😉 There might be mobile scrobbling apps which scrobble Amazon Music Unlimited though, don't know about that.

Yes, I read it a few days ago. In my case isn't available, although is great to know that Amazon's HD works in Mobile Phones.

Amazon can offer low prices because they earn a lot of money with other business , fundamentally shopping including prime. If Apple goes into HiFi world , they could have also competitive prices for the same reason as Amazon. Selling expensive devices would allow them to do that.

But Deezer only earns money with its streaming service: ads and payment subscriptions.

By the way, thank you for your previous answer !😀
Right, it will be interesting what Apple and YouTube/Google will do next in terms of HiFi/HD/HiRes whatever quality updates, as Spotify already said no, at least their VP. Apple even has its own lossless format ALAC ready, so besides having tons of money they could probably release it very quickly, especially in their "eco system". And they are trying to open up recently having just separated iTunes into three apps and releasing a web player for Apple Music. Similar things happen at Google with plans to merge Google Play Music and YouTube.
I have a custom integration Audio/Video business and I always recommend Deezer for my clients it works great with Control4 system. They love it in the begging until they find out the are paying $20 a month for mp3 320 music quality on IOS. I had 8 clients already switch to Tidel because not only they can play hifi but HIRes MQA audio on their IOS devices and literally everywhere. Deezer needs to implement this as soon as possible I am already started to recommend Tidel instead.
Hello, any update about this request ? do you have a plan for Deezer Hifi on the Nvidia Shield ?
@bluezzbastardzz , have you read how much pay music streaming services to artists? Youtube is the worse, Napster, Tidal pay well, Deezer goes next and behind French company is Spoty.

Also have read an article which said that Deezer changed the way it pays artists. Before , Deezer paid using % of listenings , but now it depends on which artists's songs listen each person , and Deezer gets a part (of course).

Well, i think big things are comming to Deezer. Waiting for a surprise
You can read all about Deezer's plans for a fair streaming payment in this forum announcement. Subscriber can also click on the link to check their personal "payment" for artists they love and all other artists.
Hi there @Rolanddekok

Our catalog on HiFi is now so big that the app will stream in FLAC if the audio settings are set to HiFi. So no need to look specific for FLAC tracks.

If you can't see the HiFi option in Deezer Labs, have a look at our Beta program here ;)

So I’m actually on the hifi plan, I’m on iOS and I’m on the beta and I don’t see the option for hifi in Deezer labs.

is there any way for support to force my account to have the A/B testing of hifi? I want to keep my plan running, but if not I’ll have to come back when it’s fully rolled out to everyone.
Hi there @miketechinc

Thank you for your feedback. I've moved your comment here so that you can support an existing idea.

Hey @Joshua.Villarreal

What version of the Beta do you have? Could you take a screenshot of the Labs bit, please?
Sure thing @Rudi!

ill attach pictures with both the questions.
