Features & Feedback

I get this message regularly. (I see threads here dated five years ago, so I thought I start a new one.) “Your computer seems to be offline. We'll keep trying to reconnect.”Deezer still works fine, curiously. I’m on a VPN, a very common practice for security How do I fix this?

I've been exploring different ways to find new artists and playlists, and I'm curious how everyone else discovers fresh music on Deezer.Do you mostly rely on Flow, curated playlists, genre mixes, album recommendations, or your friends' suggestions? Have you found any underrated artists or hidden gems recently?I'm also interested in knowing:Which genres do you listen to the most? Do you prefer playlists or full albums? What's one song you've discovered on Deezer that you think more people should hear?

I used the Tidal HIFI service for a month, and the truth is that deezer leaves a lot to be desired, I'm fine with the hifi sound, but tidal offers albums with dolby atmos sound, and the audio is wonderful compared to a deezer hifi album .  I would like deezer to start implementing dolby atmos sound, because it's something from another world

I have solved my Deezer CarPlay issue of not playing more than 6 tracks, after which I have to offload the Deezer app from my iPhone and restart. (Not great while driving at 120). I simply used the free service from Apple Music to transfer all my tracks from Deezer to Apple Music and had 99% of my tracks transferred and downloaded to my iPhone within a couple of hours. Works like a charm on CarPlay, no longer any issues! Meanwhile I logged out of Deezer and removed the app from my iPhone, reinstalled it and logged back in in order to try to solve the CarPlay issues. Deezer now still takes often a few minutes to load up on CarPlay, and as well I have been downloading all my tracks to my iPhone for the past week and they are still not all in my phone. Yet Apple took 2 hours? I still prefer Deezer, but really….

So, I switched from Spotify to Deezer six months back, and it was the gravest mistake I have ever made. Without getting into basic functionalities that are so lacking, around two months ago I started getting constantly ‘An error occurred’ popup message, both on the desktop app and through the web browser. It had been rare on the android OS mobile phone, but it occurred there once or twice as well. I listen to music almost 24/7 and it is extremely annoying to have that error popping up literally every day for the last couple of months. Yes, yes, the app is updated to the latest, cleared cache, yada, yada, yada… fix your damn app. The only reason why I am reluctant to go back to Spotify is that I hate with every fibre of my being AI generated slop ‘music’, but if this persists, I am definitely quitting Deezer.

Hello, I just subscribed to Deezer and I’m missing features, even though they are requested on this forum, have many votes, or are live (but already removed). I’m starting to wonder if Deezer is active in the development of their players.Right now, I’m doubting whether I should stop my subscription.

Hello .. before I upgraded to premium ..I had the option to play a radio based on my Playlists including my favorites. This option is now gone and all I have is FLOW which doesn't really come close How do I get that option back ? downgrading back to free ?

I’ve been using Deezer premium on Desktop for my windows 10 PC and I can’t help but be a little miffed that my playlists don’t automatically shuffle when I hit play. On my mobile phone you can click the play button and it will shuffle if your shuffle option is turned on but on Desktop even though shuffle is engaged in the bottom right of the player every time you press play on a playlist it starts with the first track. It’s not a major issue but it is rather annoying to have to skip the first song every time and then that song won’t come up randomly until the playlist is played through. To be clear, shuffle does work after the first track is selected, but it always starts with the first track of the playlist.I’m sure it would be a simple fix so please address this.

Deezer’s partner for their imports TuneMyMusic is really bad when it comes to artists… most of the things it imported are just…. youtubers… it doesn’t differentiate between actual music artists that I’m subscribed to and youtubers. So now it added a bunch of youtubers to my deezer artist list that absoteluly shouldn’t be there.

I notice that deezer supposedly has a feature to show translated lyrics of songs (although personally I have never seen any of those, I only see the japanese charachter lyrics and that’s it).But even if that were working, you’d get an English version, which is not actually what I would want. I want a romaji version (so the japanese lyrics but written in roman letters) example: https://genius.com/Genius-romanizations-yoasobi-idol-romanized-lyrics

Am I the only one who finds the tunemymusic tool that Deezer partners with for their imports to be a bit…. simplistic? Like, it couldn’t link a bunch of my music BUT atleast allow me to go through and select for each failed track which one the correct one is on deezer. (and heck, you can even use that to improve your own service!) But no, it just says those failed, no way to export an excel or anything to easily be able to check off which songs I still need to look into. The hurdle to switch to Deezer is extremely high for me because of this

Right now it's only an option to stop an episode after x minutes, but that rarely matches the length of an episode. Saw that this was brought up 6 years ago. Is that kind of feature in the pipeline? It would greatly improve the app in terms of listening to podcasts for sleep.

where is the receiptify?

I really feel like one of the first things I should see when I enter the main page of the Deezer app is if an artist that I’ve liked has released a new track or album. This has been bugging me for like the last 10 years of using deezer.I also don’t understand why the “Notifications” tab never notifies me of artist releases that I like, but random artists that I’ve maybe listened to two songs of. And “New Releases for You” ALSO never shows me the artists that I already like.

Faaair. You didn't actually want me to have feedback on anything, you just wanted me to randomly login, pretending like it was the first time that I did so. ...it wasn't, and I didn't actually want to send a complaint, but... apparently, your email really wanted me to complain about something. So, yeah, my complaint is that you sent me an email telling me to complain about things. ...and now it's complaining that I haven't filled in fields that doesn't actually exist. Yeah, ok, upgrading my complaint to including this extremely poorly created form. If you want me to enter a subject: please have a field marked subject.

why it it putting random albums from a completely different artist mixed in with the real one instead of making seperate profiles for the artist

Is there a way to add a whole track mix to a playlist, rather than just adding individual songs at a time? If there isn't, can we get a button that adds the whole mix at once?

I am having tracks and albums removed … I enjoy building playlists and now, three or 4 are defunct really. Robert Calvert albums, Fat Boy Slim tracks just gone. Not available in my country now...and I am UK as these folks are. Gypsy by Chubby Checker, just removed as not available in my country. Why is this happening? I left three music streamers over time for this reason. YouTube has it done too. I am not here for this! I am more inclined to forget streamers and buy...

Hi,Use it mainly on a Windows 10 64bit desktop, but the problem is also on my Android phone. The episodes are in reversed order. Starts with ep.10 and ends with ep.01 (for example). So everytime an episode ends, I need to manually select the next episode. An example is Locked up abroad podcast. The order is not very important for that podcast though.

I truly do not understand why this has not happened! You are literally leaving chunks of your audience just hanging there. so far everything in this music subscription has been great. This has been the one and biggest downfall for me. Frosting

My sleep timer is not available since update yesterday.

Hello friends!Developer here, so not exactly an issue that affects end-users that much.I like using the public Deezer API to search for music/get more information outside of the platform. Specifically on Discord.I used to have a discord bot that just outputs album/track/playlist information that isn’t normally visible on the website. Makes it much easier than opening a browser and remembering the API url all the time lolRecently I’ve gotten the urge to update it. Mostly because I’ve gotten some friends to switch to Deezer and we like sharing music while we’re on voice calls. (I also wanted to remove my Spotify integration because they changed their API so only premium users can use it. Boooo!)Unfortunately, the method I used:Simple GET request to `/album` or `/track` or `/playlist` as an example:import httpxDEEZER_API_URL = "https://api.deezer.com"def parse_link(url: str) -> dict | None: (...) # Parsing of the url to get "type" and "id" info: dict | None = None match type:

Hi Deezer, just wondering if there’s any plans to improve support for WIIM. As you probably know WiiM has seen a surge in popularity from users defecting from Sonos. WIIM currently does support Deezer natively, but the user interface is very odd and non-standard. it would be great to see improved support for Deezer users in WIIM.

Recently converted from Sonos to WiiM. Can Deezer please improve the functionality when using the WiiM app?  Only 1 option for FLOW, can’t choose party,  chill, etc…Also there is no access to the Daily Mixes, Discover Mix, or suggestions for song mixes. The “mixes” section is also odd and completely different from the app.  Please at least add the FLOW modes, that would’ve so helpful!!
