What should I post here?
if the app is acting in an unusual way, when you click on the menus and buttons, for example
if the player is displaying error messages, or if the playback is interrupted, let us know
if you're unable to login, or if the app kicks you out, we need to be aware too
if it simply crashes on you, when you connect or not to a device, it's better to leave a comment
if you have tips or workarounds to share, they'll be very welcome too

Hi! Desktop app often crashes without reporting errors and some kind of actions on my part, just when playing music. Windows 10, DAC Fiio E10K (no DAC drivers since they are even more buggy, just Windows drivers). After restarting the application, it continues to work normally.
It also happens to me, sometimes.
Deezer, What are you guys doing?
First, you introduced CAPTCHA, in the name of security???
After Captcha, the desktop application now opens a webbrowser page where I have to sign in???
What is the purpose of that? Security? You use electron to turn your website to a desktop application, at least show the login-webpage inside your application.
Or maybe swith to PWA (Progress Web app) completely, like spotify did. A user browses to your website and can install it as a app.
About security. As long as I can remember, I have a family subscription. I have to share my userid & pwd with my family members in case they have to re-login on their phones/laptops? I have informed you about this security-issue.
Spotify has all of this and I am seriously thinking of moving away from Deezer if you can not bring a descent security & UX-improvement.
Hi, I just switched back to Deezer from Spotify for audio reason.
But I am having some issues so far.
I have about 450 songs in my favorite songs tab, but when I press play it skips a lot of songs.
Thought I might have connection issues, so I started downloading which worked for some songs.
Then I tried listening to songs to filter some songs out to delete. Realized it is a different issue.
Tried playing track 2 - it automatically skipped to track 5. Tried playing track 3 and 4 with the same issue. I thought that maybe track 2 just doesn´t work anymore. Tried to play track 1 and then suddenly without track 1 starting, track 2 started. So it does work. Now, I have no idea why it isn´t working the first time. It´s like I am clicking on a different song each time.
Before I downloaded the the songs, I also had the issue with the songs just skipping through 40 or 50 with then starting some random song in the middle of the list. I do not have random songs turned on.
I am using Win 10 and the Deezer version is 4.20.21.
I would really like to continue using Deezer, but the functionality needs to improve in order for that to happen longterm.
edit: Just realized that it usually skips 2 songs when I press play. So if I press play on track 1 it starts track 3. Seems only to happen to songs a bit down in the list, the songs at the top of the list start without issue.
That needs to be adressed.
That's a bit odd @rtg it worked on Chrome but not on Edge...any updates available?

Hey @dennis.gillich.92 what kind of subscription do you have? Have you tried any troubleshooting yet?
I am using Version 4.20.21 of the Deezer Windows App with a family subscription. I am the primary member of the subscription.
Since the last update, my app by defaults signs into another member of my family, regardless of how many times I have signed out and in, it still defaults back to the same family member. It also at times switches to this family member midway through playing a song.
I have tried reinstalling the app, but still, the problem remains.
PS. I am very happy that the constant “Captcha-ing” in order to log in is a thing of the past though :-)

Good day, stuttering music on the computer, in the browser and in the client version 4.20.21. While in spotify, Yandex music all works without problems. It started about a week ago. Everything's fine on the phone.

Sorry to hear that. Please try reinstalling the app and clearing cache and cookies from the browser. If you could also change the audio quality settings and report back to us, I'd be really grateful!
Hello, may be a bug. Tidal, Spotify, YouTube, Google Music show music like the second one. Also on lock screen. Deezer is just plain colour and one row text about song. Can it be fixed?

It acts the same way on Windows, tried it out today on my work laptop.
Can someone from Deezer please forward this to your team, I think it is NOT the way how it should work. Maybe because of that I am not able to skip tracks using my Sony bluetooth headphones.

Player stops after some songs (Desktop app 4.20.21) .
It is a very unpleasant and constant issue.
I’m on desktop. Can someone help me? Probably just a bug, but it’s ticking me off.

Problem: playback is interrupted, can occur as in 30 seconds playback, as in once in an hour.(longest playback without interruption) Displays general error message, after accepting the same song played.

How weird this sounds, but I got kicked out of all the apps Deezer. I went back in again and the music stopped hanging.

As it stands, it seems the listening history opens with the latest track played at the bottom, so it's different from Recently Played. I'll pass the feedback to our devs

Hey @Rudi it is happening independent of listening to album or personal playlist.
Desktop app. Ever since I have been a customer songs will randomly stop playing saying “playback error”.
Recently (several weeks) when I click on the artist it goes to an error page retry, but to not avail ! Please fix this.
Hello @Mr.Popo, what’s the version of your app? Sounds like an issue we had in an earlier version.
On PC Win7 random freezes - playing music then just stops and app "Not Responding”! Its impossible to close app or even restart PC without "mechanical restart button”! And its not like once in a month but once in 2 days!!!
If I loose my hardware because of your glitchy PC app I will sue you.
The cache size is zero. When the connection is lost, it is impossible to listen to music.
Hello @Ralfito, try uninstalling the app, restarting your computer, downloading the app from our website and installing it again.

Managing songs in playlists is a disaster, its so full of bugs.
Do the following
add about 20 songs to a playlist
select a manual order
start dragging some songs around
start deleting some songs => sometimes delete does not work => refresh
