Hey Deezer, Can you please fix the download on Deezer Desktop, please? It’s quite annoying having to realize you have to download all your music again after every single update. It makes me not want to update, to be honest. After an update, some of your songs can’t play offline at all you can even get a play for a few seconds before it stops, it downright doesn’t play at all. In my country, internet comes at a high cost and realizing I have to download it after every update is really painful to given the fact that sometimes I download loads of playlists down once. I use my capped-data internet during the daytime only to realize (via Glasswire) that some of the songs aren’t playing the offline files but it’s streaming online with my data which kind of defeats the purpose of the offline download in the first place.
Sometimes I think what about a quick download of that particular album or playlist (since you can’t download individual songs) but then when I clear the download...IT GOES TO SMART CACHE...and when I try to re-download...it LOADS THE SAME OLD FILES...the ones that aren’t working. And if I attempt to clear smart cache it means I have to delete ALL MY MUSIC files since there’s no option to either delete only your smart cache or to delete only your downloaded music. And if this is happening after every update (I think I’ve gotten 2 updates within the span of 2 months).
Please is there a solution to this or is it a serious bug that needs to be fixed?
I have some weird issues with a few songs. I have listened to over 200 songs in my library without any issues, but two of them have some issues, there’re two songs with the same title “Maroon 5 - One More Night” from the same album “Overexposed”, the only difference is that one album has a few more songs in it. The problem is, that one of these two tracks can play without issues on desktop app and web, while the other track (with higher popularity rate) stops at 0:15 and shows "An error occurred please try again later" message, but I can play both tracks on my phone without issues.
Hey folks,
just installed the desktop app. Yet I cannot get beyond that cookie notification pop-up. If I click on “Ich stimme zu” nothing happens. Whatever I change in those settings below that black buttons doesn’t have any effect at all.
Does anybody have an idea how to solve this?

I am using the desktop app (4.21.0) on Windows 10 and I am having an issue when I go to remove a song from a playlist. When I select “Remove from Playlist” the app doesn’t appear to do perform the action but when I log out and back into the app the song shows removed. It is not updating the playlist immediately to show the change.

Hey @briancomin have you restarted your Windows since installing the new version of the app? I wasn't able to reproduce it here on a Mac but we can also test on a Windows if the issue persists on your side.

Seems like it was one of those issues that can be resolved be turning it off and on again. A third restart of my computer fixed it. xD

I’m using the current version of the windows desktop app and have an issue where when I click on favourite albums and it only shows me having 40 albums.
I know android doesn’t show it properly after 1200 albums, but while it only shows the albums I’ve added on mobile, with desktop it either shows the full collection or the same 40 albums, I’m not sure what’s causing it since it shows me having 40 favourite albums more often

Since yesterday, 27 August, every few minutes, and always in the middle of a track I am listening to, the music in Deezer stops, and a Deezer message appears stating ‘your Deezer account is currently being used on another device or page’. This is untrue. I only ever use Deezer desktop application for Mac. There are no other devices connected to my Deezer free account.
In my account’s ‘my connected devices’ section, I can even see for myself what I already know: no devices connected to my account.
In a failed attempt to rectify this problem, I cleared the Deezer cache. When that did not do anything, I then completely uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Deezer desktop for Mac. The problem still exists, and has now rendered Deezer unusable, for me.
Hoping somebody can help me out with this one, and thanks in advance.

I don't think it's your connection… Do you have another app like anti virus, battery saver, etc? I know it's a mac computer, but just wondering if there is something like these as they could be blocking Deezer.

I guess he means the repeated “Lithium” tracks by Nirvana populating his play queue after enabling shuffle mode for all of his favorite tracks. There should only be one Lithium track, not a dozen.
@Kiba.Kurosaki Can you reproduce this error, i.e. does it happen every time when you enable shuffle mode for your favorite tracks in the play queue? I just checked mine (same desktop version on Windows 10), and this did not happen. Can you scroll down to the end of the play queue, and do you use a zoomed view bigger than 100% perhaps?
I’ve tried both desktop apps (Microsoft store and the x86 app posted by a deezer staff), firefox deezer, nothing works!! This is getting annoying to be honest..

Apologies for the inconvenience. What app version have you got? Have you tried changing the audio quality to see if it helps?

An update on this issue:
It’s still happening even after I uninstalled and reinstalled the application. This also affects the web version as well. Not sure what else to try but it’s extremely frustrating trying to update my playlists. The playlists were originally imported from Google Play music
Hello,
accidentally noticed that the received notifications are now shown in a notification list next to the profile button. Unfortunately they are not clickable/don’t link the click action to the intent. Also I’m not sure if there should be some thumbnail in the place of the note icon. (macOS 10.15.6, Deezer 4.22.0.117)
I have Cross Device Queue List synchronization enabled on both Android and Windows 10 and it is not working.
Queue list is being pushed from Windows 10 to Android but not vice versa.
The Windows 10 app actually overrides my active queue on my Android device.
Which is not desirable, I want Win 10 to display my queue that is sitting on my Android device.
It’s annoying because the only way you can save a random playlist from Android mobile is to have the playlist appear in Windows 10 app. But even that shit is not working, Deezer is getting be very frustrating lately.
Broken promises and broken features. I’m at my wits end.
