all features on this app are extremely slow

Deezer used to be decent, but now it spends more time loading than actually playing music. When I use the search bar, the red circle just spins endlessly. When I click on a song, the song does not even play, I have to click on it multiple times and hope it works. Still, I have to wait a few minutes for the song to load. Even my offline music often requires me to connect to the internet to play, so what's the point of offline music? The app has just become overwhelmingly slow and all my music is on here so it's rather annoying. I also know it's not my Wi-Fi as all my other apps work done and load efficiently. It's just deezer and it has been like this. How do I fix?

Google Assistant cant play playlists

Deezer says this for any playlist I’ve created, apart from hitting it with a hammer I’m all out of ideas. I’ve unlinked, rebooted, re-linked, deleted the playlist, made new ones, sworn at it. It simply refuses to find my playlists.

Deezer will no longer work (blank screen) on Chromecast Gen1 (everything else does)

When trying to cast to a Chromecast first generation device, I am now getting a blank screen. Deezer support suggested I contact Google! They are not likely to be interested since…- every other app (BBC iPlayer & Sounds, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Youtube, etc etc) works fine, so they are almost certain to say it’s a Deezer problem.- I have observed the same problem on a completely different phone. This is pretty much a showstopper – and follows other “niggles” with Deezer in the past.I’ve been loyal to Deezer in the face of offers from Spotify, Tidal and Amazon music, but I think it may be time to make a move :-(

Song skipping

When i listen flow list with screen off and skip songs with headphones. When opening phone the song im listening skips to the song what i first started and i have to skip many songs to get where i was. Its really annoying.

How can I transfer music to a new SD card?

Hi I need to increase the amount of SD storage on my Tablet by replacing the current SD Card with a larger one but I don't want to loose the Deezer music on the current SD Card. How do I transfer the music onto my new larger SD card. Thanks Dennis

Filter For Artist In Favorite Album

Hi All, since a couple of months I can’t search / filter about an artist in my list of favorite album. E.g. I have 30 bands and album in my list and just want to pick an album from “Metallica”, Deezer just shows me album titles incl. “Metallica” but not the band anymore. This was working great in the past but not anymore. I’m using Deezer Android app with Google Pixel 6Pro and latest Android and Deezer App version. Someone said it’s still ok with iOS but not sure. Any help on this one? Thanks,Thomas

Hi, My app whenever I lock the phone, it will stop playing the music(silence), but the time in music will keep counting. When I unlock the cellphone and open the app it will keep playing the sound. I tried to clean the cache, unistall the app, update, tun of battery save, but there is no solution. I use Samsung s20+.

Getting very low bitrate version of songs

Since earlier this week, I have been getting terrible audio quality on about half of my music through the Deezer app for android. The songs sound muffled, with shrill and messy highs. Basically like a 64kbps MP3 file... I have tried with both wired and bluetooth headphones, they both give the same terrible quality. I have compared the track on Deezer with the same track on Youtube, where the track on Youtube sounds miles better, so it is not my phone’s audio output in general. The issue is consistently occurring with a number of songs or albums. But when listening to those songs via the web player or on my wife’s Deezer account, they sound fine. I have tried reinstalling the Deezer app and I have tried wiping the Deezer storage using the ‘clear all’ button under App Settings → Disk usage without effect. I have also tried rebooting my phone to no avail. Songs where I have the issue are for example: at least the first 4 songs of ‘House of Gold & Bones pt 2‘ by Stone Sour the entire album

Volume normalization does not work properly on Android.

I’m sorry I have to report this once again, but the previous topic has been closed for comments: This problem isn’t solved at all. Problem: Some songs will start at maximum (unaltered) volume level and only after the song has already started, the volume gets adjusted/normalized. I have this problem on Android with different Samsung phones (A71 and A32 5G) with the latest versions of Android and Deezer, and with different bluetooth devices (Sony headphones LE_WH-1000XM3, Google Nest speakers and Toyota in-car BT audio) And here’s how to simulate it (every time): Connect to WIFI. Set WIFI audio quality to HIFI, as the problem only seems to occur with HIFI audio quality, not with HQ. Make sure audio normalizing is on. Put the next songs in a playlist: https://deezer.page.link/GR5q5TbbKfZwhHQ9A https://deezer.page.link/f5J2zkCot9k5fXYEA Start the first song and let Deezer play until the second song starts, don’t skip manually. You will notice that the second song starts at unaltered volume

app starts a new playlist in shuffle tracks mode

Hey Deezer, how do I set the Android app so that it doesn't default to shuffle tracks when I start a playlist? When I create a playlist, I do so in the order in which I want to hear the songs, it seems that the app starts a new paylist in shuffle tracks mode, an I would like the mode to be play in order.

Deezer (on Android) Stops Playing when screen is OFF

Disregard, found some settings to adjust to try and mitigate. For those that may have the same issue on Samsung: Disable the Music Widget (Settings → Lockscreen → Widgets) Also make sure that Deezer has unrestricted access to battery (Settings → Apps → Deezer → Battery → Unrestricted) I’ll update here if this alleviates the issue.

Cant get Deezer in my car.

I Have a Volvo car with built in android. I cannot find Deezer in the store. Although it seems Deezer is available on my other android devices. Can anyone advise? I'm a new user. But have no problems using the Deezer app on my phone or Tablet. Thank you

Downloading Stopped

My downloading seems to have stalled and I can no longer download any music. I have cleared the cache and restarted my phone several times and logged off and on. None of these things help. What can you suggest?

Android Auto skips all songs when you talk to Google assistant

To reproduce: open deezer in android auto, start any playlist invoke google assistant from your car buttons deezer will jump skipping all songs while is on pause (meanwhile google assistant is talking) deezer resumes from the last song of the playlist I find with this bug, deezer becomes unnusable in android auto. Any voice command will make it skip all songs

Unwanted popup

I've just started getting a popup saying that Deezer cannot access my tablet's microphone when I try to identify a song.The process of identification still works ok but the popup keeps occuring every time I try to identify a song.It tell me to "update my settings" ???

Start/stopping & skipping around

Now the issue that I was having with my Xbox is happening in my car it is stopping and starting songs. it is skipping songs repeating songs. I've turned it off completely. shut down the app and force it to stop. turn my car off open the door and it was still playing when I turn the car back on. I don't understand what's going on

Over 300 of my favourite songs have been deleted!

Hey I just opened the Deezer app and I was logged out for no apparent reason. I was asked to enter my username and password l, bit knowing I already had a Google account I used that instead. When I got my account back well over 300 of my favourite tracks had been removed and all my search history was gone. I've been using Deezer since mid 2017 and I use the app quite frequently. What I think happened is that it hasn't saved any of my data since my free trial ended because most of the songs only about 30 left are old songs I added to my favourites a long time ago. I know this is my account because I only have one. Do I have proof of this? No. because nobody prepares for such a situation like this. Nobody should have to prepare for a situation like this. So you will have to take my word for it.
