Hello. I have been unable to stream via mobile. Followed all the necessary steps, and still can't stream. My subscription is going without being used. Kindly act ASAP

Hi @Samuel Obayomi I checked your Deezer Premium account and everything looks fine in our system. Could you please try to stream music with strong Wifi - does it work then? 

When exactly do you get the error message? Which error message do you get? 

Could you please double check whether you followed every single step? Thank you

This problem still persists, it quite unfair to have a problem this long and still no tangible solution has been provided. What's wrong with your support?

 

I have tried all the above troubleshooting steps, it's still the same Error: Failed to play. I cant be on premium and not even enjoy the benefits. Pls provide a solution asap.

Can someone pls respond, I didnt pay premium for nothing... I have t been able to play any sound for days now.

It is fascinating to note that this issue existed about 2 years ago and you offered up the same fix. https://en.deezercommunity.com/android-47/error-failed-to-play-the-requested-content-is-not-loading-812

Unfortunately, data is not cheap and asking users to clear their cache and re-download their music is unfair especially since this is a paid for service. There has to be a better way. I'm up for renewal in a few days and will leave the service if there is no better fix because I think the situation is ridiculous.

Edit: spoke too soon, didn't I? Uninstalled and reinstalled the app before posting this message. I logged in after posting it only to find my downloaded music has been wiped and I still can't play anything. I guess this is the end of the road for me.

Sorry about that. Have you followed the steps above? What version of our app are you using? And one more question: is this happening with the same tracks or randomly?

I have not been able to use deezer since beginning of this month. I didnt think too much if it and left it. Its just annoying that i renewed my subscription yesterday and still cannot use it. Keeps saying error loading content. I have tried all you wrote earlier. Cleared cache, reinstalled app and I still cannot use the app. Please look into this. I mean I paid so I should get value for my money.

Hello @Ann.O we are sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. Please bear in mind that you did not have Deezer Premium from 22nd until 27th of February and you hence lost all your downloads. 

What exactly is the problem? Are you able to play music while you have strong Wifi?

I keep getting error content not loading when I play songs. It works when I restart my phone then fails again after a few songs. My connectivity is amazing. I'm watching YouTube in 1080.

 

Using Deezer on Android 8.0 with miui skin if that's relevant. Deezer version 6.1.20.58

Thank you for reporting the offline/downloaded issue to us, our devs are working on it. Please check for app updates, and if there isn't any for you yet, try changing the audio quality settings to Balanced and redownload the tracks :thumbsup_tone2:

Re downloading tracks is not so easy, this has become frustrating and I am thinking of leaving Deezer. I can’t play my downloaded songs offline so I have to use data which is extra cost. Kindly fix issue ASAP 

S20 ultra music keeps loading and does not play on new S20 Ultra 5g phone. This app needs to update or what other alternative can be done to resolve the issue?

I have been using deezer for a while now. But for the last 2 or 3 weeks my songs have been stopping and starting alot. Even if I have downloaded songs and I put the app onto offline mode, the songs still just stop and star. I did see that there were 2 updates and I thought they would fix it but they haven' . It's getting to a point that I can't take it anymore. I just really hope you see this and try fix it

Hello @garydee, could you try the troubleshooting steps shown in the diagram pinned to this topic? Don’t forget to choose Clear all in the app and clear the cache of the device.

Deezer app doesn’t work well on mine tablet and android either! Whenever i try to switch songs the the android app crashes and the mobile won’t work until it is powered off and on again.
Maybe need to switch to another app

After updating to the last version, the application keeps cutting off, on iPhone and computer, just “error, retry” AFTER EACH SONG. C’mon Deezer!

I've had a look on your account and noticed that you have a HiFi subscription so: could you please try to change your audio quality settings to HQ from HiFi? Let us know if it makes a difference and what OS and app versions you've got installed :thumbsup_tone2:
