How do I change the country of my Deezer subscription?

Hello! How can i change my country? I don't want see music that recommended for my country

    Hello @sampasquier Happy New Year :slight_smile:  

    I just checked your Deezer Family and I was able to see that your subscription was started whilst being in Norway, which is why you are getting charged in this currency. To change the country settings, please cancel your current subscription:

    • Please take a PC or Mac (not mobile phone or tablet) » open internet browser Chromecast, Firefox or Safari » log into your Deezer account » click on your profile in the top right corner » click on account settings » My information tab » Manage my subscription » click on Cancel subscription

    Once your Deezer account reverts to the Deezer Free version on 15/01/2020, you can activate a new subscription on the same Deezer account whilst being in Switzerland. You will then have access to the Deezer Switzerland music library and will get charged with the corresponding currency.

    Please also bear in mind that you need to use a local payment method (payment method issued in the default country).

    Hi @john03, you account it set up as you are from France, therefore you are getting the french recommendation. To change it you would have to cancel your current subscription and then subscribe again from the country that you are based in. In your case I managed to change from here 🙂 Please log out and log back in!

      Hi Rafael. Any chance you can chnage my account to a UK one please, I stupidly signed up whilst conncected to a Romanian VPN, Cheers.

      I think I managed to change - sometimes we are not able to. The country might change back to Romania and if this happen you will need to cancel the account and subscribe again with UK ip.

      Hi Rafael, I set my account up on a company computer and did not know about this restriction, we VPN in to germany for securty and now I only get German suggestion, I live in Sweden and my account just got paid for a new month, can you please update mine as well?

      I won't be able to change it, I'm afraid 😕 You would have to cancel it and subscribe again using a device with Sweden ip...

        If you use the Germany ip, the same will happen with every single streaming service... 🙂

        I'm English but I live in Indonesia. Can't I simply change my preferences to English and not have my flow and other suggestions in Indonesian? No point cancelling my subscription because I live in the country and I'm not planning on flying to the UK any time soon. Surely choosing which country preference is a basic option?

        Hi @Davey1980 I am afraid that is not the case. The only way to have your account set to UK is to activate a subscription while being in the Uk, sorry about that 😉

        Hello,
        is there a way of changing the account's country without cancelling my subscription? Wanna change it back to Israel (I was in Germany)
        My subscription is going to last one more month and I can't afford waiting for the subscription to end and then renew it..or did I get it wrong?
