You have to cancel your current account and subscribe again from the country of origin. the country is set automatically, depends on of your ip.
Hi @patnam62 please see above how to change country in your account 😉
Ever since I visited Chile my charts music is all from Chile, even though I live in UAE. How can I change this?
Hi @Alexander.Tombrink.Tapia
I can see that your account is indeed set out to Chile, so please see above on how to change the country.

It's 2018, strike that, 2019. Someone please give me a technical answer on why the hell I can't set my country manually. I don't mean saying this is the process, cause it's not enough. I just do not want to see any songs from my current country. That simple. Somewhere, there is a string of data that needs me to un-, then re-subscribe to get it changed? Really? I'm from Hungary, and I really don't enjoy Hungarian music. Is there any way i can filter it out at least? Or do I have to fly to the states and subscribe from there to get my current, awful suggestions gone? Awesome service 5/7.
Edit: I understand that different countries give me different music catalogues, and subscription prices. Let me choose one, and I'll gladly shell out the money for it. Or at least let me filter out country specific recommendations, like a sort of "deezer international mode".

When the subject is music and copyright, there is no way to set up an international mode. Streaming rights are also defined by territory, therefore you can't just change the country of origin if you are not based in the country.
As there are a couple questions about changing the language of recommended Music, I am still not satisfied with the Answer that the Dezzersystem automaticly creates Recommendations accourding to the country it thinks you are in.
For Example, I made my account in Germany, but would like to hear Podcasts in English. Since i already know why i get German recommendations and cant seem to find a way of changing it in the settings of deezer (Googleing diddnt help either) my Question is:
Is there a way of changing those said "countrysettings"?
And is it possible to at least Search for Podcasts in different Languages?
Thank you for your help!

That's terrible, some people want worldwide content. I was willing to try Deezer, but if I'm stuck to my country's productions in many aspects, like podcasts, there's no use for me.
Deezer seems to have got a lot of things right, much better than other services. But this is not one of them, and it is critical for, I imagine, a good chunk of users.
I hope you adjust this in the future.
Hi there @kaotisch
If you subscribe on a different country than yours, that country will be set up. I can appreciate that it isn't ideal, but the distributors control the content for each country.
In any case, I've noted your feedback. Check our ideas forum for similar conversations 😉

How can I change the account country in the settings?
The system incorrectly recognizes the country in which I live and many tracks are marked as "this track is not available in your country." I am Russian-speaking, but this does not mean that I am from Russia.

Are you suggesting that I delete my account, losing my favorite tracks, losing my payment? And is this a good service?
Hi guys,
I live in the Netherlands, and my Paypal is being charged the fee in CZK every month (which is always then always converted to EUR to be deducted from my Dutch bank account...). Also the app always offers me playlists in Czech, and Czech music charts, Czech albums...
I'm sorry but I really don't care about Czech content and I would really like my PayPal account to be charged in EUR for the monthly fee, as currently my bank account is being charged different EUR amount every month...
I tried looking for how to solve this, but haven't found any solution. Can please someone help me?
Thanks,
Eva

No one said anything about losing favorites.... The only way to change the country if you subscribe from the country of origin using the right IP. This is legal requirements to protect the copyright of the songs.
Hi there @Eva.Zeman
I get your frustration. As you've subscribed from Czech Republic, the ip address was recognised and your account is set to that country.
If now you live in the Netherlands and wants the account to be charged in EUR and also listen to your local music (not Czech) you need to wait for the subscription to finish/cancel and resubscribe again from where you live now - NL.
Give it a go and let me know if you still need any help 😉

Please help - I originally had a deezer account in Switzerland but have moved back to the UK. Finding no way to change country, I deleted the app, reinstalled, created a brand new account, and yet it’s still telling me that to subscribe to premium I have to pay 17 Swiss Francs per month. I checked my iTunes account and it is linked to UK. CHF17 is too much, plus I’d incur currency exchange fees by trying to pay in francs from my English bank account. After deleting, reinstalling and creating a brand new account, I simply have no idea what to do next, and I miss my music. Help welcome! 🙂
Hi there @Staggster's Tunes
You need to cancel your original subscription which was purchased in Switzerland and resubscribe in the UK - the app recognises the country IP address and that's how the payment will be set up as well. You won't lose your music by cancelling the subscription.
If that subscription was made via iTunes - you need to cancel with them. For more info, please check here.
Once it's cancelled you can subscribe with us directly and pay a little bit less 😉

Hi Rudi, perhaps you misread my message... I’ve cancelled my subscription, deleted and reinstalled the app, in UK, connected to a British WiFi service.... and it’s still quoting me prices in Swiss Francs. How can I get around this after those steps have been taken and the problem still isn’t solved? Could I perhaps use a laptop to sign up and see if it works that way?
Thanks in advance for help!

Hi again @Staggster's Tunes
The reason why I've said that is because your account shows as registered on 1 March 2019 with the country set to Switzerland. Were you using a VPN at the time?
The way I see it you need to be on Deezer Free before subscribing again in the UK. The account linked to the email you sued here in the community is set to Premium and from Switzerland as I've mentioned - so try to login to Deezer.com on a PC, cancel the subscription and once it's back on Free, resubscribe in the UK with the same account.
