Same issue here, subscribed in UK, then traveled - now all what I get is Middle Eastern content!! I am not interested in listening to this type of music. It wasn't the case before Deezer started offering services in this country before.. If this continue, and there is no other way to change it I think will cancel my subscription and move to another platform.

Same here. Registered in France during holidays, now I'm stuck with a lot of french content, podcast, recommendations etc. This really is not of this time. This will definitely move me again to another music service.

Hello,

Is there a way to change my country to England or US.. I live in Bahrain and all the recommendations and playlists are Arabic music. I don’t listen to Arabic at all. Is there a way I can change this?

Please help.

Why Deezer recommends artists and songs that have absolutely nothing to do with what we regularly listen to?

My subscription is from Brazil and it has tons of terrible yet popular artists. I can't change it because it's linked to my mobile operator, so I can't really unsubscribe and subscribe again.

But that's not the point. There're crap artists all around the globe, and the crappier they get the more popular they become, it seems. So what I really want is for Deezer's suggestions to be linked to whatever I listen regularly and not my IP's country.

It would solve the problem for those who want to change their country just to get a more relatable suggestions page. And it wouldn't infringe in copyright issues because the suggestions would be related to music already licensed in the country I'm in; even if some artists are not licensed, I'm sure there's plenty in any genre if that genre has any representation in a given country.

Hi there @strangedata

Thank you very much for your feedback. We're currently working on a different UX where the content from the app is better suited. So your feedback is very important - happy to pass it on.

You should solve this. I got my subscription when I was living in Netherlands and all the recomendations are from there and I even don't understand Dutch.
I have a Deezer family subscription, if I cancel it I'll lose the profiles right?
This should be a feature to add, change the country of the recommendations.

Hi there @Pentux

Please see above for more info on how to change your country of subscription. And the answer to your question is no - the only thing you'll lose is downloaded content (which can be also re-downloaded once the subscription is active again). The profiles will be kept 😉

Hello, Can you please change my country from Mexico to the US (where I am actually located)? I am not interested in cancelling and the signing up again. Thank you.

Hi there @jsnewland

Unfortunately this is something we can't do. The country of subscription is the country set, via IP recognition. For more help, please contact our support team here.

This is ridiculous. It means losing all your playlists and content. Dumber than dumb

Hi there @przemoo99

Thanks for your query. You need to cancel your subscription and once you're back to Free, you can subscribe in Poland (the app will recognise the IP address of the country).

Hey @Sebastián Acuña

It doesn't mean that. Cancelling a subscription doesn't affect your saved content. You'll just need to download your downloaded content again. Playlists, albums, favorites, will all remain. Hope this clarifies everything.

Hello there...I am a member of Deezer for 5 years now I what I really miss is to get more relavant playlists and music suggestion on home page...because the fact is that I am completely not interested in what you give me as a suggestions...they even are not in my language...please do sth so everything will be more personalised...otherwise I believe people will go to someone who will give them what they wish...

Thanks a lot for the feedback @rok rosa. I'll pass your comment on to the relevant team.

Hello. I subscribed to Deezer Premium while I was on a holiday. I ticked the correct language and country, but I keep seeing playlists in Spanish. How do I fix this?

Hi,

I created my account in France and been using for years. However I've been leaving in Spain for 5 years now.
I can't update my paiement details: it gives me an error because the card is from spain ..........
I cannot use a discount I had from FNAC because I'm recognized as France suscriber..........

Is the only option to unsuscirbe and recreare an account from Spain? (Really?)
Will I loose all my saved playlist and album?

Thanks

Hi there @Rafaarlijk

You'll need to follow the instructions above. It isn't a complex process but it does take a bit of work.

Hi there @julien Hennico

Yes, you'll have to unsubscribe and subscribe again, with the same account, so this way you don't lose any saved playlists or albums 😉

Hi @vittoriavel

Sorry to hear that's happened. Our app recognises the IP address of when you subscribe, and charges the account accordingly. For more help about your account in specific, please contact our support team here.

I've just gone on holiday and just payed my Deezer subscription in another country, but it's taken the money out of my account but when I go onto the app the next day it says I'm on free. I can't listen to any of my music and nothing I do seems to fix it. Please help.
