Error message: Your Deezer account is currently in listening mode on another device


The app is stop working frequently and cannot be used.
A message indicate that there is another app in use with the same credentials.

bug valid for all platforms and there is not related to the beta version

Today I connected my Bluetooth to my car and played Deezer all the way to work (50minutes)

this evening when I re-connected it worked for 5 seconds then told me my account was private and I was unable to stream to devices

just want to play music through my car stereo

Hey! Could you send a picture of that error message, please? 🙂 Is your account set to private though? Please check in your settings and if it is private, set it to public and try again 🙂

Did you by any chance leave Deezer playing on another Device? You mentioned you listened on your car. If you were listening at work and didn't shut it down, you would get this message because with your subscription you can listen to one device at a time.
Do I have a smart tv and an Amazon echo both with Deezer on

i turn my tv off so I presume that cuts it off
my Alexa shouldn’t keep it running when I shout alexa stop before leaving the house would it?

It should, if you stop the music. Do you share the account with anyone else who could be listening to music at the same time somewhere else?
I have a family account so supposeni need to check that everyone is on their own profile but I set everyone’s up and I’m sure they are.....

HI there, that's something we can't really check. Have you checked your listen history to see if the master profile has only been used by you? Or did you maybe find tracks there that you haven't played yourself? That would be an indicator for someones else accidentally using your profile
when i Played Deezer this morning on my iPhone, a message kept popping up saying that my account was bring listened to from another device,
but i only installed it on my iPhone so that is mot possible unless someone hacked into my account.
I tried changing the password, but it wont let me.

what do i do?

I used it on my podcast the other day though, could this be why? But i stopper the cast sunday and this message just appeared now.

you should be able to change your password? Please contact support here and ask them to help you change it.
My account keeps asking asking me to have familly account.

Try to unlink all devices you have in your account and then reset your password or contact support 😉
this is the message I get when I opened my deezer today. But that's not true.

Hi there. You have to unlink your device and the Facebook, but I have already done it for you now. Please change your Facebook's password and your Deezer's password. Let me know if it helps!
I recently upgraded to the family subscription because the advert kept inturulting my music, I haven't given any family my info but the last week my music is constantly being stopped saying I can't listen on two devices. I added another profile as it's the only way I can listen but all my playlists are on the original. Also what's the point of the family subscription if I can only use it if no one else is?

I have unlinked your Facebook from your account. Please change your facebook password and then link it back again.

Why is deezer saying someone else is using my acc? I changed password and someone is still in, even in logged in devices there are no one but me

Been listening to Deezer for a couple of years and this started today.
Nothing changed on my listening behavior.
Started this afternoon. Music stops and it tells me that the account is being used on another device.

Already uninstalled the desktop app. Shutdown the phone and changed the password.
same problem. I have to be offline mode in order to listen a full song without interruption...
