▶ REPORT HERE: Error in a track/song/album


Hi,
I have experienced an error in a couple of tracks. How and where do I report errors?
The error in question is that the song jumps back to an earlier verse at a certain point of the track. Then, when there's 0:00 mins secs left of the track left it doesn't stop, but carries on playing until the song is over.
It's been doing this for "Enemy Inside" by Dream Theater (studio album version) and "In the name of love" by U2 (the best of...-album)

Hello, I have quite a few reports about errors in albums:

 

https://deezer.page.link/Py8bFZVyPmD6gDpv8  This album is missing a lot of tracks, it is not an EP. It should have 12 tracks.

https://deezer.page.link/GwZrRGTW7Vkis1My6 This compilation by them has major mastering inconsistencies. The volume is all over the place, even though it should have one consistent mastering for the whole compilation, regardless of the “volume normalisation” feature. It is weird because this compilation is perfectly represented on Spotify, so I suggest you message the label to provide you with the real 2015 Remasters that they used for Spotify.

Lastly. these 3 albums have 2 second gap at the end of the tracks, which should not be there because it should be played with gapless transitions:

We have detected a few glitches on the song, playing it on our Deezer desktop app. 

We will request a new re encoding of the tune/album so hopefully this can be done very soon.

As far as I know, the catalogue team of Deezer reports errors in broken tracks to the provider, i.e. either the label or distributor who have to deliver new fixed tracks or rather the whole release then. If they don't do that in time, everybody is waiting.

Reporting such errors as a user is possible in threads like this one, but also in the "..." track options of the desktop app and web player. You can choose "Audio problem" and also "Other" in the dropdown menu which lets you describe what kind of audio problem there is with the track.

Hi,in this album (CD single) of Culture Club “Your Kisses Are Charity” there are different songs, I managed to identify it as song by Cassius “Cassius 1999“

This case is strange, I checked other streaming services and they all have the same error.

 

 

 

This happens because the artist's distributors sent the files like this. We can send them the feedback, but it's their choice to change it.

Try to play in app, there is just one little skip on browser, but on App it’s unplayable due to the error.

There’s an issue with track titled (617) by Trocadero. It basically restarts 48 seconds in and cuts off the ending of the track.

This track has a strange error: On desktop it plays ok, but on mobile I get an error at the end: “Failed to play - The requested content is not loading”. When I retry, it starts from the beginning… It happens every time with this song. I tried clearing the apps cache and downloaded data.

Update: I checked up automatic attachment to message. The song is fine. Web client broke it.
