How do I delete my Deezer account? (only for Deezer Free)

What a hell!!!

you guys are really annoying!

how impossible is to delete the account? All the accounts from you guys! 

I can ready that is an on going issues! Clearly the difficulty to delete an account in intentional! 

Please delete my my account as I can’t delete myself!

I have been trying to delete my account and still am unable to. I had followed the instructions and it did not work so could you please delete my account and email me when it is done.

It’s better to contact Deezer support directly to help you delete your account . Your request might be lost in all the posts here :-)

Hello @manpreet sorry to hear that you want to delete your account.

If you haven’t tried to delete your account yet, just follow these steps on a PC or Mac (not mobile phone or tablet) please:

1. Open Internetbrowser Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari
2. Type in www.deezer.com
3. Log into your Deezer account
4. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
5. Select Account Settings
6. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select Delete my account
7. Enter your Deezer password and click on Delete my account
8. You will receive a final validation email
9. Click on the link to delete your account

If you no longer have access to your Deezer account, please let me know and I'll delete it for you. Please keep in mind that by doing that you're agreeing that all your account settings, favourite tracks, playlists and any remaining subscription time will be lost as a result.

Gotta appreciate when application is so bad that it tries to make you stay by making it impossible to delete your account 😅

Hey there. I’m proud to join this 5-year-old discussion on how to accomplish the simple task of deleting an account.

Yeah, they haven’t figured out an easy way to accomplish it yet. So, trying to follow the instructions:

1. Open Internet browser Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari
2. Type in www.deezer.com
3. Log into your Deezer account
4. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
5. ...

And 4. is exactly where everything goes wrong. Here’s what I have when I reach the step 4.:

No profile picture, no Account Settings option and no Delete My Account option. Now what?

If I use my Deezer account on a browser and if I go to my account settings, I can see this:

This can be seen when having a Premium or a Free account.

Please delete my free account permanently. Thank you.

Please delete my account as soon as possible and notify me when you do. I’ve been trying to delete it and I really wish it could be deleted soon. Thanks.
