Hi,

I have experienced an error in a couple of tracks. How and where do I report errors?

The error in question is that the song jumps back to an earlier verse at a certain point of the track. Then, when there's 0:00 mins secs left of the track left it doesn't stop, but carries on playing until the song is over.

It's been doing this for "Enemy Inside" by Dream Theater (studio album version) and "In the name of love" by U2 (the best of...-album)

Hello!

Album: Inner Voyage- Gonzalo Rubalcaba

Something seems off, the piano sounds heavily distorted. It doesn't seem to be cd quality or something. Going back an forth between tidal  qobuz and deezer. Something is off with the version on deezer. Is it a lower bitrate mp3? Also the contrabass is less articulate. Could this be fixed? I love this album :)

Hey @Ruben Flamand

I need the album link, please🕵🏼

On Joe McPhee’s album Sweet Freedom - Now What? there’s a problem with track 12 “The Persistence of Rosewood”, a series of loud digital clicks between 8 and 9 minutes.

This song cuts out about half way through and goes straight to the next song on the queue. I have tried logging out and logging back in, clearing the cache, deleting the song from my favorites and adding it again, restarting my phone, etc. I have noticed it on different devices. I tried reaching out to support, but to no avail. Anyone know what's up?

I have reached out to the artist and she's been trying to resubmit the track entirely but is getting issues with CD Baby. If possible I'm hoping it can be fixed in Deezer.

Any updates on this?

Hey @Avery Northern, I just listen to the song on my pc and I can hear all 04.26 minutes, without skipping.

Can you try reinstalling the app, please?

I've tried reinstalling the app and I've noticed it on two different devices. Is it something with my account?

All right, I think I'm done with this app. This isn't the only song this happens with; it's just the one I care about most. And since nobody seems to know how to fix the issue and nobody seems to care about losing money off it, I'll just cancel my premium and go to Spotify or something.

Hello @Avery Northern there is nothing wrong with this song, it plays until the end both on pc and web.

Can you follow these steps please?

  1. Restart the app (kill the app and remove it from the notification bar)
  2. Try another network (4G or Wifi)
  3. Restart your phone
  4. Delete all the cache & data from the app (Data and storage, and then “Clear all”), then restart the app
  5. Un-install the app and re-install the app

Small typo on Overkill’s “The Complete Albums 87-94” (https://www.deezer.com/us/album/140655232), track 29 should be name “Infectious”, rather than “Inectious” (this typo seems to plague whatever metadata provider everybody is using since the same typo is visible on Apple Music and Spotify).

This track originally comes from the “Horrorscope” album (https://www.deezer.com/us/album/612872)

As I've said, I tried these options. I don't know what the issue is, if it's something with my account or what, but I've been trying to get it fixed and I just keep getting the same answers. It doesn't really matter because I've already cancelled my premium membership and when it's up, I'm done with the app.

Hi,

I noticed that when exploring the discography of "Skinshape" from the Artist page on the Android app only one album "Life and Love" is displayed, but if you search Skinshape from the main search bar and filter by album the whole discography is available.

Also on the Skinshape artist page in the web app the Albums section shows only the Life and Love album, but you can at least see the rest of the discography listed further down under "More Albums".

Please could you take a look?

Thanks,

Joe

Hey @Ustin_LVO, I am having it looked into!

Hello @Plamena Mihaylova, I could listen to the whole song without interruption, I think the problem might be linked to your app, please delete the cache memory and then you will be able to listen to the song, here is how to do it:

https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360001369797-Android-Cache-SD-card-Troubleshooting-

@Yula
1. I’ve just played the song on a different device on a browser. I’ve listened to it by now on my iPhone app, Deezer for Mac and Safari on a different Mac. 3 different devices. The problem is still there. And it is obviously a problem with the recording.

  1. You are sending me a Zendesk article for Android devices that I don’t have access to.

In any case, Know how to Clean the cache. I suggest someone else to listen to the song after the 9th minute.

Though the album listing is correctly credited to Tommy Bolin, the individual songs on the Private Eyes album are credited to "T. Bolin," which leads to an empty page

Also, this is minor, but there is an obvious typo in this album listing title (misspelling of "Special")

Hi @1207david89 the problem with Tommy Bolin’s album has been fixed.
Regarding the typo, we have asked the label a redelivery as we can’t fix that on our side.
Thanks for your patience :)

Thank you for the awesome, prompt response!

Another one:

On the artist page for Soccer Mommy:  https://deezer.page.link/AGgVEs4UtZustSoW9

There doesn't seem to be a way to access a list of her albums/singles/etc.  It goes directly from the "Top Tracks" section to the "On Tour" section.

Also, very minor, but there are two versions of Black Sabbath's Vol. 4 on Deezer.  The 2014 remaster is correctly labeled as 1972, but the 2021 remaster is erroneously listed as being from 1971.  The correct release date would be 25 September 1972 or, in a U.S. format, 9/25/72.

https://deezer.page.link/GAEd2nCjakDTw66q8

And this Cirith Ungol album:  https://deezer.page.link/eonB9JGJ81YFQrBK9

was released on 8/23/91, not in 1976.

Soccer Mommy discography should appear now.
Regarding release dates, that info comes from the labels when they deliver the albums/tracks (I’ll see what I can do about it)
Thanks

Track 2 in this album is completely broken only the first second of it plays. Also when listening to the album in order the tracks play in the following order: 1, 2, and then it skips straight to 4.
