Japanese language search is broken

Japanese language search is broken in Android in at least two ways: You cannot type in Kanji (the Chinese characters), you can only type in hiragana (a phonetic alphabet). Normally using Gboard (the default android keyboard) you type something in phonetically in hiragana and Gboard presents options to change this word to Kanji but this is not happening with Deezer. Also, sometimes you need to add “voicing marks” to hiragana which would for example change a “ha” sound to a “pa” sound. This is also broken. Basically it looks like Deezer is processing each character as soon as it's entered, taking control away from Gboard before the user can finish entering the word. Search will not find a Japanese artist if you search for their name in Japanese. Even if you type an artist's name in a separate app to write out the kanji to get around issue #1 and copy and paste into Deezer it will not find the artist, even though the artist's name is written in the same Kanji when the app is set to Japane

In Offline Mode on Apple Watch only one song will be played instead of whole playlist

For a couple of days I have a problem with Deezer on my Apple Watch serie 7.In Offline mode when I choose a downloaded playlist only one song will be played instead of the whole playlist. Also on the icon for Pause/Play (the circle) you can’t see the time is left and that the song is playing.Manually you can go to the next song but this is not the intention when you have a workout.I uninstall / install the app on my watch but that doesn’t help.Has anyone an idea?

some of the songs I put in my Playlist won't play

strangely, some of the songs I put in my Playlist won't play, but when I visit the Album the song will play normally.I'm not too sure if my other Playlists are also affected, but one of my affected Playlists is "uri ballad k-drama".any helps for this?

Hi AllWhen the Android Automotive Deezer first came along it had a HiFi option in setting, but this was removed about 12months ago. Why? And is there any plans for it to return?

ios app not saving sound quality

I’m on ios 18.2.1 with Deezer premium and the app keeps reverting the audio quality to the preselected values when restarted. I tried reinstalling it but it didn’t help. No matter how many times I change the audio quality settings, if the app is closed, it goes back to standard quality for mobile data, high quality for wifi, and hifi for Google Cast. I’d like to add that I use Deezer on ipad os and over there the sound quality settings are working with no issues.The app version I’m on is 10.29.1 (10.29.1.1) and I haven’t exceeded the maximum number of devices.

Since a while I am unable to listen to NPO Radio 2 (Netherlands) anymore

Since a while I am unable to listen live to NPO Radio 2 (Netherlands) anymore. Does anyone have an idea what is going wrong? I have already installed the app again and logged in again as well a few times. It's giving the notification: try-out again.

downloaded shuffle does not work offline

I'm unable to use the shuffle of all my downloaded playlists offline, even though each separate playlist works offline. When I use the shuffle online it mostly plays random songs from all other playlists as well, especially songs I almost never listen.. Offline it only reminds me I'm offline and have to reconnect. I do, and then play shuffle and then go offline again but get the same text complaining I'm offline.

Unable to play downloaded music in offline mode and over mobile network

Hi all, how are you? I am experiencing the issues as described below:Issue 1:Playing download content in off line mode doesn't work - it asks for connection to play downloaded content in off line mode.Issue 2:Playing content over mobile connection keeps loading forever with strong stable 5g network signal available. App preferences is set to allow unrestricted background data, and audio settings os set to stream in basic quality over mobile network. I have followed the instructions described by deezer support below:A)Set App Battery Usage to  Unrestricted;B)Set App mobile network data usage to Unrestricted;C)Set app Audio quality download over mobile network to basic. I also have reinstalled the app several times, and redownloaded all content, but it didn´t solved the issues. Please, May someone help me to figure out how to fix it? Device info:Google pixel 7Android 15 security pack December 2024Deezer app details:Deezer 8.0.28.4Permissions if app is unused is disabledApp Battery Usage

issue with adding favorites to a playlist

why can’t I add the songs tagged as favorite to a new playlist? It keeps displaying an error that the songs have already been added. I used to be able to do this before. There are only 473 songs in my favorites list

a bug in the iOS mobile app

Hi there! I noticed a bug in the mobile app: when you go to your favorite tracks and start scrolling, the top bar appears intermittently, and the scrolling smoothness is disrupted. The same issue occurs in other sections of the app — sometimes the top bar appears instead when swiping sideways to exit. Please look into optimizing this. Thank you! Deezer for iOS (10.28.0.4)

Why album sorting option that I set doesn't remain ?

  When I open on Deezer desktop web an artist's discography, the albums are sorted by Most played.I want the albums to be sorted by Release date, so I changed that.If I click on one of the albums to open the songs and then go back to all albums in the discography, the album sorting goes back to Most played.I don't know why the Release date sorting option that I set doesn't remain ?  Has anyone else noticed this ?

Besteik heb een suggestie voor de wachtrij. Elke keer als ik mijn playlisten wil openen, komt er in mijn wachtrij allemaal muziek in te staan die ik zelf niet heb aangevraagd. Als ik dan van mijn andere playlisten muziek wil luisteren en in de wachtrij wil zetten. Komen die helemaal onderaan te staan. Waarop ik dan uren op kan wachten tot ik dat nummer kan luisteren. Ook blijven de nummers die erin staan, staan. Waardoor je ze handmatig allemaal moet verwijderen (wat best veel werk is als 1 playlist 200 nummers heeft en deze allemaal ongevraagd in de wachtrij staan). Als ze in de wachtrij staan zouden deze ook automatisch verwijderd moeten worden, zodat jij als luisteraar onbezorgd kunt blijven genieten van jou zelf gekozen muziek die je zelf in de wachtlijst kunt zetten.   Dus maak de wachtrij alleen voor de muziek die jezelf erin zet  laat deze nummers ook automatisch weer verwijderen  kijk af naar Spotify die doen dat al wel (en is mega gemakkelijk) met vriendelijke groeten Jana

Dear Deezer Developers,I recently noticed an issue with the new audio preview links provided by the Deezer API.Unlike the previous implementation, these new links no longer include the Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * header.This change is causing CORS issues, making it impossible to use the preview links in web applications.

Total mess in classical albums

Hello there,I’ve been quite upset with a mess in these classical music albums:https://deezer.page.link/dKP9XmmDGPrHchK47https://deezer.page.link/BZcuNxpQHqcw7eit6Both of them are published with a completely random order of tracks. It is absolutely important that all parts of a classical music work were played in a succession, unlike in these two, where you won’t find a single concert or sonata listed in order. Is it possible to re-order these?

Moving tracks around in a playlist doesn’t save

In the iOS app, when I move one or more tracks in my Favourites playlist and press done, it doesn’t keep them. I tried going into my library through an internet browser and it seems like it’s like it’s supposed to be there, so it probably is an app issue.

Podcast playback keeps skipping 3

Hi ! Like many other people in this forum, I’m still experiencing podcast playback skipping randomly. It starts to play and skip to another episode after a random time. Sometimes I can (rarely) play an entire episode. Sometimes it skips. I tried on Android app, on the phone only, and streamed through chromecast.  Same issue. I tried on the mac desktop app, playback does not skips but stops, and an error message appears.I’ve search through this forum, I tried to clear all caches, and reinstall the app many times, still have this terribly annoying issue.Every time it's the same answer : cache / reboot / reinstall. And it does'nt work. And it makes me really crazy. I'm forced to use Youtube music with ads to listen to my podcasts. Instead of an app I’ve paid for.Reading the forums, It's been two years and no clear answer, no fix. Please. Fix it.

Deezer on AAOS in Polestar 4

HelloI just installed Deezer on my Polestar 4. It works fine but I've two annoying issues:- There is no sync between device. The car doesn't appear in the list of devices connected to my deezer account (allready tried to reinstall)- When I leave the car and come 15min later the list that was playing is lost. This is very annoying when using Flow because there no way to put back what was playingIs it a problem from Deezer or from AAOS/the car?Thank you,Fabrice
