change to Canadian English

Hello, I see that some of the English in the app is American. My country is set to Canada already, and my phone language is in English Canada and French Canada. But there are items like "Favorite tracks". When I click on it, it becomes "Favourite". It is irritating as we are trying to get rid of American stuff. Please change these to Favourite, and any other American English words to Canadian or British English. Thank you

▶ REPORT HERE: Error in a track/song/albumreport

Hi, I have experienced an error in a couple of tracks. How and where do I report errors? The error in question is that the song jumps back to an earlier verse at a certain point of the track. Then, when there's 0:00 mins secs left of the track left it doesn't stop, but carries on playing until the song is over. It's been doing this for "Enemy Inside" by Dream Theater (studio album version) and "In the name of love" by U2 (the best of...-album)

Android auto requires phone interaction ico errors

For some years and with different cars with Android Auto I sometimes have the problem that certain Deezer errors require me to interact with my phone. But as I am driving, this is not possible (at risk of a €400 fine in NL), so I then need to pull over the car before i can get things sorted. Various kinds of problems I have experienced, but impossible to reproduce consistently. E.g. cannot start a track until I open the app on the phone. After that, all is fine. I've afellong it might have to do with first being on my home wifi (when I step in) and then suddenly switching to 5G at an awkward moment. Other times a track cuts out with an “Oops” message. Again, I must go to the phone and there I need to confirm some error dialog before I can proceed. Other moments the app is flaky and I'd like to be able to restart it from my car controls. Again, I need to pick up my phone, force close the app, open again, reconnect AA etc. I would like to see that Deezer would work completely headless wh

why deezer is not working on Sonos?

I’ve been Deezer premium customer for 8 years and still can’t find a way get help? I’ll try here. I'm confused I thought I was on premium and see I’m on trio, have no idea difference’s is I want the best quality…I thought premium was. Deezer is not working on my Sonos…….atm…….I just noticed Sonos say you must use premium on there system for it to operate. is there problem Deezer and Sonos atm? Surely there can’t be I’d get a message service is down surely why am I transferred to trio ? I’ve been very happy Deezer over years kind regards Sully

Mumford & Sons are back with ‘RUSHMERE’ 📀

The band returns with their 5th studio album, Rushmere. This marks their first album in almost seven years and their debut as a trio after the departure of Winston Marshall (banjo) in 2021. It would be great qol update if when using song catcher, Deezer keeps a historical log of all your caught tunes. In the current setup, if you want to keep the song, you have to heart it, but sometimes I don’t necessarily want to do that. It would be ideal, similarly like how Shazam has it set up where you can go back and check all the songs you were trying to spot.

Downloads sorting change

So normally when I’m out and about I use the Deezer app (on Android), and just this morning I discovered a change to the Downloads section. Up until yesterday my Downloads section was sorted A-Z by Artist, then Album. As of today that has been changed, and the list is no longer sorted at all. I reached out to Deezer support on this issue and this is what they responded to me with. “ Deezer is always looking for ways to make your music experience better, faster and more seamless. To achieve this, with the launch of the most recent version for Android 8.0.27, we have made a technical change by removing the A-Z sorting feature. This decision was made to prioritize speed and improve how quickly your Playlists and Favourite tracks load. We understand this may feel like a change to how you organize your music, but our focus is on delivering a faster, more intuitive experience so you can spend more time enjoying your favourite tunes.” Pardon my language, but this is a crock of sh*t. Better image quality lockscreen (android)

I noticed that the quality of the images of the player on android is low. The player that I talk about is the one on the lock screen and the notification center on my Google Pixel. I’ve put an example of that, I’m talking with screens. There is Deezer, Spotify and YouTube Music. Spotify and YT Music have high quality. But the Deezer one is in bad quality. However, images in the app player are in high quality, so it’s only on the lock screen/notification center player. Also, it lacks of a “like” button and “next music” and “previous music” but I heard that they are working on. I hope that Deezer will fix that quickly because add a feeling of old app… If someone of the Deezer Team read this, love you guys It adds a feeling of bad quality to the app. I think that it’s not hard to implement

Search function on IOS (Specifically IPAD) not working properly

On my iPad. Since the new layout was introduced I have noticed that when you type an artists in the search bar sort of ‘freezes’ and will not let you retype to search again. Have to completely come out of the iPad and start agin. Assume this a bug that will hopefully be fixed soon.

Music not being downloaded

Recently got a new phone so the first thing I did was rip through the list of favourite albums to download so I can listen offline if needed. This was about 3 weeks ago now. Today I was browsing my album list but noticed the download icon was gray, and checking the list only half of the music I selected had been downloaded. I have also verified this by selecting listen offline where I wad unable to listen to this music. Why is so much music failing to download? No error messages were seen. App has been restarted, cache cleared, phone restarted etc. Using Android 14 with the latest Deezer beta version. Phone has plenty of storage (400+GB free space). Getting pretty fed up with all these issues now, on the verge of cancelling and signing up with Tidal...
