Allow us to completely block AI music, so that it doesn’t appear in search results, doesn't get played in playlists we don’t own and don't appear in Flow.

I don’t want to listen to AI slop and I don't want to enable fraud.
Also, the way AI music is tagged could be improved, by showing a small label next to the track itself for example. But that wouldn’t be necessary if it is blocked by default.

Great idea. Even implementing an opt-in or out feature would be good. I imagine there are people out there who like AI music? Maybe?

I like this idea. I’m switching in part to avoid the slop (it seems like Deezer is at least not embracing it), would be great to be able to make it all invisible.

I've made the partial switch to Deezer because of their flagging. If they made complete decision to allow you to hide AI gen music, I will be a customer for life.

Great idea. A must-have feature. Keep music human.

Same here, I can’t predict the future, but hiding AI-generated music will be a killer feature in the coming years.

Music must remain thoughtful and human.

Please, make this a feature!

Bandcamp just did this today. it's obviously possible, especially if Deezer is already tagging it. I've had slop show up in my discover etc playlists on Deezer - I simply never want this to happen.

Please give us the option to exclude AI generated music.

I am surprised that there are no thousands of upvotes here. Am I the only one person that doesn’t want to listen to music made by AI? In the world, where there is so many music made by humans that I will never discover it all. Please make a feature flag that block all music that was added to the platform after first AI track was uploaded to the platform if it’s hard to block only AI tracks.
I am ok with limitation and I understand that I will never listen to a music that was made after, I am totally ok with it. Right now I can’t use Flow anymore because it can suggest me an AI track.

I’m not. Deezer is doing way more than most to fight it, and it appears to be an ongoing process that I think we should all be patient with.

Additionally, a polite reminder that the vast majority of the population (and therefore of the 9.2 million Deezer subscribers) isn’t paying even the slightest bit of attention to this. They are just listening to their favorite music and going about their day. The fact alone that you are here on the forums makes you part of an incredibly small portion of the listening public.

Again, I would counsel patience as Deezer is at the forefront of combating AI music by deploying a pioneering detection and tagging system, fighting fraudulent activity, and championing transparency and artist rights. Deezer is currently the only major streaming platform to implement these measures.

Opt out feature is the MOST sought after feature in every AI supported app. Nobody wants AI slop! Deezer, read the room! Like this post if you agree and want a change!

I just switched from Spotify due to AI music making it’s way into my listening. It is exhausting checking every new song on Deezer for a banner telling me that an album is AI. Please add an opt out!

I just joined Deezer because of their stand on AI and I would absolutely love this feature! I do think it should be clearly labeled on any streaming service and part of what frustrates me with music on youtube and spotify these days is that i have no way of knowing if something is ai.

Please make this happen! 😍

Oh, I joined deezer assuming that I could disable AI music. What’s the point in tagging it if I can’t use that tag for anything.

Oh well, the service seems OK otherwise but I guess I’ll go back to spotify.

Adding my support to this - I’ve just switched from Spotify purely for Deezer’s ability to filter out AI music. I love that it’s blocked from recommendations, unsure if it’s blocked from editorial playlists so I’m not listening to those, but having the tag at an individual track level and a slider to block it would get me as a customer for life.

Yes. This is a big reason I left Spotify. The less AI music, the better. It’s insidious.

Yes I am finding the amount of fake music disturbing, I wish to only hear music composed by human artists.

I keep thinking the algorithms of Deezer are poor but I think its the inclusion of AI.

Can I opt out of AI tunes please>

AI-generated tracks are automatically removed from algorithmic recommendations and editorial playlists. This means that music detected as AI-generated will not appear in listening experiences powered by recommendation systems, including features such as Flow, track mixes or other automated discovery features. At the same time, albums containing AI-generated tracks are tagged, giving listeners clear visibility into what they are listening to.

If an album is not tagged as AI, you can get in touch with our Deezer Support Team and report it. We will then review it and tag the album in case it includes AI-generated music.
