Deezer is still not available on Google Home in Belgium. It’s a shame need I to switch over to Spotify?

For the technically-minded users, there is a solution, if you have a) a router with possibility for vpn tunnels b) a vpn provider.

Take an exit node in France, and route 142.250.0.0/15; 2a00:1450::/32 and 216.58.192.0/19 (Google Home Foyer and Google User Content ranges) through it. Restart your google home devices, restart your phone with the Google Assistant used to link deezer, and presto: Google thinks you're in "la douce France", and all will work.

I'm going to cancel my account and go to spotify... I can't understand why things go sooo slow, and it does not matter it's google or deezer...

Thank you for your support. Our product managers have recently informed us that our integration with Google Home in more countries doesn’t depend on us but on Google themselves. We’ve been working hard for the past couple of years to improve this, but ultimately it is down to Google to choose which global partners to have on their devices. Thank you for your understanding on this.

Hello. Can you let us know more details about the limitations for the Belgium in order to apply a workaround ? Is this linked to the location given by the GPS of the smartphone/car ? The location of the username known by Deezer ? .. or known by Google ? … the location during the enrolment ? Thanks to help them to apply for a workaround …

deezer says it’s up to google and google says it’s up to deezer…. pfff ....
