Like the title says, shuffle icon disappears the moment you start casting.
I wonder what possible reason you would have for this behaviour?

Deezer recently removed shuffle my music. I am very disappointed. Flow is not the same!
Flow is like you want to have sexy time with your girlfriend, but you get her older fat sister or the nerd from her class... . You have something, but you get something else... Annoying!

DITTO. I will be looking for another service if this feature is not returned when my annual subscription is up. This feels like a breech of contract.
So, purely by chance, have found a shuffle button if you go into Favourites, then Downloaded Music. Not sure any user experience testing happened on this latest 'enhancement'!? Time to move providers I think

cannot believe this feature has been removed it is the number One reason I subscribed to Deezer... removing this feature indicates that whoever does the upgrades for Deezer either doesn't use the f****** service or is not a true music lover!!!!!

Since the new version, the shuffle button has disappeared. I can't play all my music right now. This is now only possible per playlist. This used to be possible.
Correct . It is being checked with the devs . For now you still have it on web and desktop

Since updating the App on android a few days ago, therebis no longer an option to shuffle my favourite tracks.
Please can you advise as to me the whole app is useless without that function.

We've received some reports from users who are experiencing some problems with our app after the latest update. But don't worry, the shuffle mode for your songs and favorites is still with us.
To solve this problem quickly and efficiently, I'd like to ask you to follow the steps below:
Open the application and go to your playlists.
Select the one you like best.
Click on the first song.
Go to the screen where the song is playing and then to the bottom right corner, where the Shuffle icon is.
Click on it. A little ball should appear below the icon.
This will activate shuffle mode in your playlist and you'll be able to listen to your songs in shuffle mode.
Hi! I guess that wasn’t the concern. The “Shuffle my music” feature used to play all user’s content in shuffle mode. Now, this feature is gone. Yes, we can go and turn on one playlist, then add others to queue and then push the shuffle icon. But this is pure nonsense, isn’t it?

Indeed, with the new update, some information about playlists and albums is missing.
We are aware of the problem and it will be fixed in the next update.
In the meantime, you can try the Beta version, where this problem has already been fixed.

That's great news…. NOT. I rarely use the web version. Nothing against you, I assume you are trying, but I am still upset at Deezer for the continuing insensitivity to paying customers and am not optimistic that I will ever see the shuffle button again.

The fact that it is on the web (and also available in Car Play and perhaps AA?) makes it all the more perplexing that it is gone from the phone apps. It also doesn’t feel very reassuring that it won’t disappear from the web and CarPlay apps rather than come back to the phone at this time.
My fingers are crossed that this was just a huge oversight but I can’t reiterate how important this feature is to my overall experience. I feel like it literally makes up for the huge shortcoming on the music discovery side.

If you search here in the Community you’ll find many topics regarding the shuffle option.
You can only use it on the Web and the desktop. Deezer knows about this and hopefully there will be a fix soon.

This is the go-to feature for me and I use it in my car continuously.
Without this on IOS I may have to move to another service.

GREAT! So, now I can just take my desktop pc with me when I go outside walking, or driving my car...
I cant find where i play shuffle playlist on the new update of deezer.
The feature on My Favourites which allows you to shuffle your entire library has gone. I actually may leave Deezer now. Also don't like loss of album length & most played track info either. Logo is worse. The Nov' 23 update makes the service worse.

Hi Everyone! I am not sure if this is very reassuring but I received a reply by Deezer Mobile App developers via Google Play stating: “Hi, we are currently working on improving the Shuffle my Music feature to deliver a better experience”
Don’t know if this is actually good news or what it really means but it seems that definitely we will not have the button easily and quickly replaced the way it was. Let’s hope at least it does the same thing or better whenever it comes back.

Agreed. I'm on Beta 8.0.1.5. Dated 14 Nov. Not fixed.
