Shuffle button missing while casting from Deezer Android app to anything.

Fyi: I'm on Beta 8.0.1.5. Dated 14 Nov. Not fixed. 

Hi @Michele.Stress.Muliere @Harry Beahen @Dawg @Captain_Eric1, looking at the reply of our colleague, it seems she might not have understood correctly which shuffle you were referring to.

It appears that she understood you were talking about the shuffle on the player. Apologies for any misunderstanding.

Regarding your question, the feature is still up and running on the Web and Desktop app, plus you can keep shuffling your favorites on mobile.

We've thrown the question to our developers to find out if the button will be making a comeback on mobile anytime soon.  We have just heard they are considering bringing it back but in a different place in the app.

Once we have more news I will make sure to loop you all in.

cannot believe this feature has been removed it is the number One reason I subscribed to Deezer... removing this feature indicates that whoever does the upgrades for Deezer either doesn't use the f****** service or is not a true music lover!!!!!

As @JRR mentioned, te feature is still available on Web and Desktop app, and you can still shuffle your favourites on mobile.
I have asked our developers if the button will be back soon or not on mobile and I’ll update you all once I hear back from them.

In the meantime you can open Deezer on your PC and shuffle your music. You will then see that it replicates on your phone when you open the mobile app. You will then be able to play around with the music player on your mobile as if the feature existed in the mobile app. 

Crazy I know, but it maybe a workaround for some like me, as “shuffle my music” is the way I listen to Deezer. 

Hi, Let’s hope Deezer techs are working on this. The feature is still available on PC but not on Android, so hopefully they just forgot about it with the new update and we will have it back soon also in our phones. Otherwise I will probably swap to another music app. It worked really good and it is the main reason why I pay for Deezer and not Spo.

So, purely by chance, have found a shuffle button if you go into Favourites, then Downloaded Music. Not sure any user experience testing happened on this latest 'enhancement'!? Time to move providers I think

I cant find where i play shuffle playlist on the new update of deezer. 

@Leonídia.Deezer , if my calendar is right, 2021 is long gone.

This issue is of course 100% related to this one, which dates back to 2018(!).

Chromecast support has been completely broken for more than 5.5 years now, and the linked issue is even stamped “Not for now / we don’t care!”.

I can live with the new design and the annoying auto-scrolling, I can get used to the new logo … but please make sure that core features are working!

Every time I have friends over I’m kind of ashamed that I’m using Deezer because you can’t add anything to a queue wile casting as I once told that Deezer was superior over Spotify. But boy, I was wrong. 😞

I hope you can bring some more information about the album like the favorite or most played track. a preview and link to Wikipedia would be nice

Regarding the topic of "bringing back the album year and the total number of songs in the playlist", I would like to mention that we are aware of this problem and that it is being fixed for the next update.

If you're interested in resolving the issue promptly, you might want to take a look at the Beta version, where this particular issue has already been resolved.

We have just heard they are considering bringing it back but in a different place in the app.

Some users just reported the button is not available yet in the new beta version so it seems that this is not going to be quick. 

I asked about this same issue (no shuffle my music option) in LG and Samsung TVs about a year ago. After many polite emails and chats saying the option would come soon, one year later the button is not there yet. Let's hope this takes shorter to come back 

In the meantime I am checking services that do offer this feature. Suggestions appreciated

Please bring shuffle my music back. This is now severely limiting my use of Deezer as this is the feature I use almost exclusively

Only in the iOS beta version yet, not the normal one, and probably the same for Android.
